Abstract: A hygienic cover for a hair brush is an elastic plastic netting of lycra polyester stitched into a tunnel shape with open and closed ends. This cover is rolled on a hollow insert with two open ends. A hairbrush is inserted into and through the insert. The closed end of the cover hits the end of the brush and the cover is stretched over the brush and slides off the insert and compresses around the brush head. The cover is porous and the holes grow when stretched, allowing the brush bristles to pass through the cover. When allowed to slide off the insert and collapse around the brush, the cover closes tightly around the bristles to prevent debris from reaching the brush head. The cover protects the brush in use. After each use, the hygienic cover can be taken off and replaced by a new cover.

Abstract: This invention provides a bottle that allows for easy and efficient application of shrink sleeves. The ease of application is partly a result of the invention's wall thickness along its body-forming portion. The body-forming portion of the invention has thick walls and thus exhibits negligible expansion during a hot-filling process. This permits a shrink sleeve to be placed onto the body-forming portion of the resistant bottle prior to filling. If the resistant bottle is hot-filled, the sleeve shrinks as a result of radiant heat emanating outwardly from the high temperature product, without the aid of an external heat source, such as a heat tunnel.

Abstract: An object of this invention is to prevent components such as NOx and H2S being emitted when starting a vehicle and improve exhaust emissions by utilizing information of a navigation system. A navigation system mounted in the vehicle is connected to an ECU. The ECU predicts whether a stopping time of the internal combustion engine is near based on the current position and travel history of the vehicle obtained from the navigation system. When a stopping time is near, the ECU executes rich spike control prior to the stopping time to thereby perform a regeneration process of the NOx catalyst. Thus, NOx components or sulfur components remaining in the catalyst can be eliminated before stopping the internal combustion engine. Accordingly, even if warming up is performed when the engine is next started, emission of NOx or hydrogen sulfide can be avoided.
