The at least one permanent magnet 20 is permanently affixed to an exterior surface of the impact bumper 14. The at least one permanent magnet 20 is positioned to attach magnetically to a metal license plate 22 thereby providing an easy attachment and detachment of the license plate protector 10 to the license plate 22.

Abstract: A communications-enabled packaged product allows a consumer to partake of communications within a product-centric network. The packaged product performs the functions of a communications node in the network. The packaged product may include two portions, one portion being a reactive label which may be affixed to the packaging and a second part being a “smart communications card” that is separate from the packaging and portable. Each part includes a communications element and an information storage and retrieval element and may include various means for downloading and uploading information into the storage and retrieval elements. In one aspect of its use, the invention allows the consumer to transmit and receive information about the product. In another aspect of its use, the invention allows the consumer to carry information about other similarly enabled products in their possession for use in shopping trips.

Accordingly, the display body can have a slim profile, an improvement in design and ease of battery change can be achieved, and battery capacity can be extended.

Abstract: A method of using signage on a horned bovine while the bovine is engaged in a display activity is disclosed. The method can include disposing a sleeve on a horn of the bovine, the sleeve having an image disposed on an exterior surface of the sleeve that conveys information to a viewer, and causing the bovine to engage in the display activity. The sleeve can include a tube having a first end with a first diameter and a second end with a second diameter, the first end and the second end being open to allow a tip of a bovine horn to pass through. The tube can fit over at least a portion of the horn and can include an elastic material to cause the tube to contract about the portion of the horn. The tube can be a continuous tubular surface or a sheet formable into the tube.

The LED lamp structure includes a plurality of T-bars assembled to define a plurality of framed spaced; a plurality of stepped lamp panels; and a plurality of LED lamps. The stepped lamp panels respectively have a size-reduced upper half and a size-expanded lower half. When the upper halves are upward set in the framed spaces, the lower halves are in contact with one another to cover the T-bars, making the T-bars invisibly located behind the lamp panels. A bottom wall of each of the lamp panels is provided with lamp holes for forming characters or patterns. The LED lamps are separately set in the lamp holes with light-emitting sections thereof downward projected beyond the lamp panels, and can be lightened to display the characters or patterns on the bottom walls of the lamp panels.

The die-cut portions are formed sequentially at a constant interval on the print medium, and die-cut lines are formed between each die-cut portion as lines connecting adjacent die-cut portions. The print medium may be automatically cut at the position of a severance line perpendicular to the die-cut line referenced by a cut mark on the print medium. Because the edges of the severed print medium piece are perpendicular to the die-cut lines, separating the die-cut portion from the print medium can be easily started along the die-cut line.

The keyseat is one or more keyseat segments, which meet at two or more points within the keyseat and limit the rotation of the quick disconnect sling swivel. A raised bridge of the slingplate provides a gap in between the slingplate and the firearm such that the slingplate can act as a common sling loop, and facilitates removal of debris from the through hole.

Abstract: A method of pest control for burrowing animals involves loading a machine-conveyed dispensing apparatus with a fumigant product, and using the machine to make one or more passes across an area of ground beneath which the burrow system is situated. A ground engagement tool of the dispensing apparatus is engaged in the ground to pass through or nearby sections of the burrow system, and fumigant product is dispensed into the ground behind a leading portion of the ground engagement tool. Fumigant is widely spread over the burrowed area of ground for effective results, while the human exposure and manual effort associated with conventional hand-placed fumigant techniques is greatly reduced.

Abstract: In a system and method for at least one of monitoring and controlling pests, a container having an interior chamber, is located in an area in which pests are to be at least one of monitored and controlled. At least a portion of the container is constructed of an environmentally degradable plastic. At least one of a pest monitoring material and a pest bait material is disposed within the interior chamber of the container for at least one of monitoring and controlling pests. The container is inspected at least once prior to the end of a predetermined time period to determine whether pests are present within the container. The container is replaced, along with the at least one of the monitoring material and the bait material, no later than about six months beyond the predetermined period of time following placement of the container in the area.

The vortical flow of the stabilizing gaseous fluid effects a spatial disposition of the plasma plume such that at least a fraction of the gaseous reactant flow intersects the plasma plume.
