The refrigerant lines may be connected to a cooling system, such as a heat exchanger, which is configured to remove heat from the cold plate. The beverage lines may be connected to a beverage supply for dispensing a desired beverage. Valves and a pressure sensor in the refrigerant line are connected to a microprocessor. At regular intervals, the microprocessor closes the valves, waits a short time, and then takes a pressure reading, which corresponds to a temperature. If the temperature falls below a desired value, then the cooling system is shut off. This permits the microprocessor to closely control the temperature of the beverage being dispensed.

Abstract: A method of analysing a refrigeration system (1) comprising at least one compressor (4), at least one condenser (5) and at least two refrigeration entities (2), each comprising at least one evaporator (9). Based on information relating to the gas production by the evaporators (9) it is determined whether or not two or more evaporators (9) are running in a synchronized manner, i.e. are switching between an active and an inactive state at least substantially simultaneously. In case two or more evaporators (9) are running in a synchronized manner, the refrigeration system (1) may be controlled in order to desynchronize the evaporators (9). This may, e.g., be done by changing a cut-in temperature and/or a cut-out temperature for one of the corresponding refrigeration entities (2). Synchronization causes undesired variations in the suction pressure, and preventing synchronization therefore results in a more appropriate control of the refrigeration system (1). Reduces wear on the compressors (4).

Abstract: The enhanced liquid pressure cycle having an ejector consists of a high-pressure positive displacement liquid rotary pump (liquid pressure pump). The liquid pressure pump provides the primary high-pressure mass flow to the evaporator and the pressure mass flow to the driving force input to a condensing and mixing ejector. The system is further enhanced by a vapor compressor/turbine/motor combination which provides the ability to suck out and lower the refrigerant pressure output from the evaporator while the interconnected turbine offsets the power input requirements of the vapor compressor. The high-pressure liquid from the liquid pressure pump is divided into two pressure streams. The first stream is directed to an expansion valve then on to an evaporator for space air or other medium cooling. The second stream is directed to the driving force input port of an ejector. Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing strengthened glass containers, and more particularly the construction and operation of a base cooling nozzle in an apparatus for thermally strengthening glass containers in a glass container manufacturing line at a location intermediate the hot end and the cold end. Glass containers formed at an I.S. machine are conveyed through a special tempering Lehr that heats them uniformly to a high temperature that is short of temperatures at which they may become deformed. Subsequently, the glass containers are rapidly thermally strengthened in a cooling station in which the outer and inner surfaces including all areas of the glass containers are simultaneously cooled to a temperature below the Strain Point of the glass used in the glass containers, with the base cooling nozzles being used to cool the bottoms of the glass containers.

When the handle is operated, the actuator drives a rotary cam to rotate a spindle tube, which in turn operates a latch cam connected to a latch. The slide plate is mounted movably within a housing in proximity to the rotary cam to slide transversely of a rotation axis of the spindle tube, and has two drive elements to respectively drive two driven elements of the rotary cam. The actuator is formed as a strip having one end connected to the handle, and another end connected to the slide plate. The strip is pivotal along with the handle to actuate the slide plate.

Guide grooves and variation grooves which are complementary to the longitudinal sectional profile of the cutter teeth are milled into the broad side by advance in the longitudinal direction of the key, in one work operation, using a milling cutter that has cutter teeth on its peripheral surface and rotates about a cutter shaft.
