Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to multichannel tubes that can be expanded to assemble the multichannel tubes within plate fin heat exchangers. The multichannel tubes each include several generally parallel flow paths, which are separated from one another by deformable webs slanted in a common direction across a width of the multichannel tubes. The webs may deform upon expansion of the tubes with a high pressure fluid. During expansion, the webs may stretch, shift positions, and/or change shape to allow the outer dimensions of the tube to increase. The multichannel tubes may be designed to expand to fill openings of plate fins, creating an interference fit between the multichannel tubes and the plate fins.

Abstract: Described is a vapor trap that enables the capture of material from the condensate of a vapor. The vapor trap includes an inner module, outer module and cooling system. The inner module has a transport channel to pass a web substrate or discrete substrate, and to limit conductance of the vapor. Plenums extend from the transport channel to an outer surface of the inner module. The inner module is configured to be at a temperature that is greater than a condensation temperature of the vapor. The outer module includes collection surfaces disposed across from the outer ends of the plenums. The temperature of the collection surfaces is less that a condensation temperature of the vapor. In various embodiments, the vapor trap is a selenium trap that can be used, for example, in a copper indium gallium diselenide (CIGS) deposition system for fabrication of thin film solar cells and modules.

Abstract: A user interface for climate control. The purpose is to save energy by bringing in fresh air at times when the outdoor air temperature is more desirable than the indoor temperature. Primarily the user chooses their own savings; during the hot seasons energy is saved by cooling the location cooler than the desired temperature; the greater the parameter chosen the greater the efficiency. If the desired inside temp is 70 and the night time low is 50 and you accept that then the location will cool to the lowest temperature you allow causing your air conditioner to come on much later in the day; if at all depending on parameters set. It works the same way in cold seasons, only in reverse. allowing you to freshen your indoor air. The interface can be set up to operate all air handling systems, exhaust fans, intake fans, furnaces air conditioners, ERV's etc.

Abstract: The low friction wireline standoff improves wireline cable performance during borehole logging operations. The use of low friction wireline standoffs ameliorates the effects of wireline cable differential sticking, wireline cable key-seating, and high wireline cable drags, by reducing or eliminating contact of the wireline cable with the borehole wall during the logging operation. The low friction wireline standoff comprises external wheels mounted on two finned half shells that clamp onto the wireline with precision cable inserts which are manufactured to fit a wide range of logging cables. The wheels reduce the cable drag down-hole resulting in lower surface logging tensions, aiding conveyance in deep and deviated wells.

Each rib has an inclined surface. The locking member is move to control the engagement or disengagement between the pawls and the ribs. When the pawls are not engaged with the ribs, the stationary ratchet gear is rotatable. The output shaft can rotate in two directions. When the pawls are engaged with the ribs, the stationary ratchet gear is fixed. The movable ratchet gear rotates in the forward direction and interference happens between the movable ratchet gear and the stationary ratchet gear to generate axial vibration. When the movable ratchet gear rotates in the reverse direction, the stationary ratchet gear is disengaged from the movable ratchet gear so that no axial vibration is generated.
