Abstract: An electro-mechanical linear actuator unit comprising an actuator housing that accommodates at least two electric drives, each of which, when actuated by a control device, sets an associated drive of a respective spindle drive into rotation for adjusting linear movement of the associated spindle drive in order to produce relative linear adjustment of a control rod. The two electric drives are located in the actuator housing in such manner that relative adjustment can be produced by simultaneous actuation of the two electric drives, as the sum of the adjustment movements of the associated spindle drives, or by actuating a single electric drive, as the adjustment movement of the associated spindle drive. A respective brake is provided, in an area of each of the two electric drives, which can be selectively actuated by the control device to then prevent the adjustment movement of the respective associated spindle drive.

Abstract: In a parking release actuator, a related motion between a motor and a cable uses a number of worm gears and worm wheel gears using rotation motions in different directions, and the cable is pulled or released by a cable guide converting a rotation motion into an angular motion. Therefore, a number of worm gears and worm wheel gears and the cable guide are made compact and intensive. As a result, it is possible to reduce the entire size of a housing and significantly reduce the operation of the operator required for manual locking or manual release, thereby further improving convenience.

Abstract: A motorisation device comprises two substantially parallel winding cylinders, and at least one longitudinal linking element able to maintain a predetermined distance between the winding cylinders and wound around winding tracks, the linking element consequently having a crossing point located between the winding cylinders. The motorisation device includes two flexible tracks, fixed on each of the winding cylinders and arranged to face and to touch eachother at the contact point, a pre-stressing force being applied to the contact point under the effect of said linking element. The flexible tracks are spiral shaped and arranged such that the contact point between the two spiral-shaped flexible tracks, located between the winding cylinders, is offset relative to the crossing point of the linking element, such that a torque dependent on the distance between the contact point and the crossing point is applied to the contact point, causing reciprocal rotation of the flexible tracks.

Abstract: The invention concerns a mechanism having the necessary conditions in order that the rotational motion of a body can be actuated in a decoupled and homokinetic way by motors (M1, M2, M3) installed on the same frame, by means of transmission based on homokinetic joints (CV). In particular, decoupled and constant relations are generated between the motors speeds (q1, q2, q3) and the time derivatives of the variables describing the body orientation (?1, (?2, ?3), thus maintaining the homokinetic condition of the transmission during the simultaneous movements of more motors. The invention therefore concerns new architectures of decoupled and homokinetic joints, with two or three degrees of freedom. They are characterised by uniform input-output kinetostatic relations and suitably wide working spaces.

Abstract: A standard mechanic's ratchet modified with a square-receiving hole at the bottom of the handle receives the square drive of a second ratchet to provide additional leverage for the removal of nuts and bolts. Existing mechanics ratchets do not have a hole to accept the square drive of a second ratchet. The Adrin Leverage Ratchet provides mechanics with additional leverage for the removal of over-tightened nuts and bolts.

Abstract: A ratcheting wrench includes a driving head having a receiving hole defined through the driving head. The driving head includes an inner flange and multiple teeth. The inner flange inwardly extends from an inner surface of the receiving hole. The multiple teeth extend from the inner surface of the receiving hole. Each tooth has a bottom connected to the inner flange and includes an upper edge, a first side, a second side and beveled ridge. The beveled ridge extends from a juncture between the first side and the upper edge to the inner flange, gradually and inwardly protrudes from an inner surface of the tooth, and includes an engaging bevel and a guiding bevel. The present invention allows the wrench body to continuously rotate a fastener without detaching from the fastener.

A screw body includes a body flange, a neck portion, and a threaded member. The threaded member in a non-installed condition has first and second displacement portions separated by a tapered slot, each having a main thread portion. A pin is frictionally received in a bore created through the body flange and neck portion in a screw non-installed condition. The threaded member is inserted through the aperture and received in the threaded bore in an initial installation condition. The pin is axially aligned to slide into the tapered slot, whereby the pin oppositely displaces the first and second displacement portions away from each other to contact a plurality of female threads of the threaded bore, defining an installed condition.
