Abstract: An attachment system for attaching a mandible to a helmet. The system comprises a pair of attachment bases for holding a face shield to the helmet and for attaching to opposite sides of the helmet. The attachment bases each include a base plate covered by a body block. The base plate includes hooks for engaging an edge of the helmet. A strap assembly provides a pair of tightening straps, each engaging one attachment base. The tightening straps extend rearward and are connected together by a helmet band that extends over and around a portion of the helmet. The tightening straps each include a ratchet toothed strap body for adjusting a tension of the straps against the helmet.

Abstract: The invention comprises a thin flexible plastic sheet shaped to cover a users eyes and the user's face adjacent to the eyes. Left and right protrusions or recesses formed in the plastic sheet correspond in shape to respective eye sockets of the user. An adhesive portion placed on the interior surface of the plastic sheet attaches the mask to the user's face so that light reaching the eyes of the user is at least limited and can be excluded. The recessed embodiment is used during and after medical treatment of the eye or eyes.

Abstract: A leg protector made from a sheet of die cut resilient plastic. The sheet is heated and wrapped around a mandrel to form a tubular shape. The shape is sized to fit over the lower portion of a person's leg. The tubular shape includes a cut out knee joint portion and an outwardly disposed protrusion at its upper most wall surface to accommodate the user's knee. The tubular shape also includes a partial shoe covering portion at its bottom most wall surface. One side of the sheet is wrapped to be in close proximity to the other side of the sheet forming an adjustable width tubular shape. The resilient nature of the plastic allows the tubular shape to flex when putting it on the leg and to remain snuggly attached to the user's leg during use. A preferred embodiment includes the sheet is made of high impact ABS plastic.

Abstract: In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a garment or undergarment (e.g., a T-shirt) which is provided with integrated multi-layer perspiration barriers uniquely configured to provide high levels of evaporative cooling and moisture vapor transmission. The perspiration barriers are integrated into the sleeve and torso portions of the garment such that such perspiration barriers actually define the underarm portions thereof. Each of the perspiration barriers is preferably comprised of four layers, each of which is formed from two separate panel pieces. The various layers included in each of the perspiration barriers, the manner in which such layers are stacked upon and attached to each other, and the manner in which the layers forming each perspiration barrier are integrated into the garment are specifically adapted to collectively promote evaporative cooling and a vapor transmission effect which provides superior perspiration absorption and evaporation, in addition to enhanced user comfort.

Abstract: An athletic garment including a panel designed to reduce frictional and pressure drag around an appendage of an athlete competing in a high-speed event, such as running and cycling. The panel is positioned to encircle the appendage, and is provided with regions having different surface texture roughnesses. The leading edge of the panel includes texture designed to enhance the laminar boundary layer, while the adjacent portion of the panel includes texture intended to trip the boundary layer to turbulent flow. The drag-reducing panel may be the cuff of a sock, a sleeve, wristband, a headband, or the like.

Abstract: Support assemblies releasably extending between a ballistic vest and a waist encircling belt transfer the loads from the vest to the belt relieving the stress on the wearer's shoulders and spine. Each support assembly has a stiff carbon fiber bar enclosed within webbing which is attached to a side section of the vest such as by extending within a downwardly opening pocket, and is attached to the belt such as by an upwardly opening pocket. Alternatively, plastic shelves mounted to the belt can support the weight of the vest.

Abstract: A protective glove includes a coating of dehydrated material on its inside surface. The dehydrated material, in contact with perspiration from a hand wearing the glove, soothes the hand. Some methods of placing the coating onto the inside surface of the glove include spraying or dipping with a solution that includes Aloe Vera.

Abstract: Helmets and pad kits for use in helmet shells are provided. The pad kits, when inserted or attached to the inner surface of a helmet shell, provide a user or wearer with enhance blunt force protection relative to padding in prior helmet systems. Pad kits include pads having one or more layers of differing material, typically two or more layers of material; one layer including a rate sensitive, impact absorbing material, and another layer including a comfort or form-fitting material. The impact absorbing material provides enhanced protection to the user's head from impact to the helmet shell.

Abstract: A combination toilet and stool/table is disclosed. This structure includes opposing and parallel front and rear walls, along with opposing and parallel side walls. The side walls are capable of folding so that the structure can be portable. A foldable seat is attached to the rear wall and is secured to the structure by securing tabs located along the top edge of the side walls, along with a front safety-lock tab securing the front edge of the foldable seat with the front wall. A bag for receiving waste, garbage and other items can be placed within the interior of the structure. Access to the bag is through an opening in the foldable seat. The foldable seat includes a lid that can be moved between an open position and a closed position.

Abstract: A cover for a portable toilet includes a front panel, a rear panel, two side panels and a roof panel arranged to fully span respective ones of the front wall, the rear wall, the two side walls and the roof member of the portable toilet. The roof panel has a window portion formed of a translucent material aligned with translucent material of the roof member of the portable toilet to communicate external light therethrough into the interior of the portable toilet. A lower panel of heat insulating material spans a bottom side of the portable toilet between spaced apart skid members on the bottom of the portable toilet. A strip of reflective material is also mounted on each of the front panel, the rear panel and the side panels.

The apparatus further includes a towing mechanism and a tow device coupled thereto for towing the wake boarder.

The dewater bucket includes a freely-rotating dewater basket and a spindle member for receiving a cotton strip disc of the mop. Abstract: A vacuum cleaner incorporating a cyclone separation device comprises a cylindrical cyclone chamber having a tubular side wall in the form of a filter. An auger is mounted within the chamber for rotation about the longitudinal axis thereof, the auger having a vane which extends along the chamber in a first helical direction. In use, the auger is rotated in a direction opposite to said helical direction so that separated dirt and dust is driven to a collection region at the bottom of the chamber and compacted.
