Abstract: A new Lemna minor plant named ‘Henry Blanke’ is provided. The plant is particularly well suited to serve as a biomass renewable energy source. The plant is small in stature but unlike Dwarf Duckweed possesses short roots which well enable the absorption of nutrients present in water. Such short roots also enable the ready separation of adjoining plants. Strong green leaves are displayed. The plant is well able to maintain active biosynthesis under low light conditions. The plant is particularly well suited to metabolize carbon dioxide from emissions with a simultaneous increase of mass.

Each patch panel includes a port identification circuit that is electrically coupled with the connector ports of the respective patch panel. The port identification circuit of each patch panel is configured to transmit a signal to a connector port of the other patch panel over a common mode transmission path of the patch cord. The first and second connector ports connected by the patch cord are identified from the signal path.

The method includes forming sets of parallel connected resistors, each set corresponding to one of the impedance devices on the IC. Each set also includes two or more parallel resistor paths, each resistor path including two or more cascaded resistors and has a total impedance value substantially equal to the predetermined impedance value of its corresponding impedance device. Finally, the method includes configuring the sets of parallel resistor paths to form an interdigital structure across the substrate when the electrical circuit is placed on the IC.

When an advertisement printing mode is set, the processor reads the advertisement information from the advertisement information storage unit, synthesizes the read advertisement information and the image information read by the image information reader, and supplies the synthesized information to the printers as image data.

The apparatus further includes a first elongated element that projects downwards at an acute angle from a left side of the semi-rigid element such that a tip of the first elongated element contacts a left shoulder of the shirt. Abstract: A flexible, non-absorbent sweatband includes a seal band sized to wrap around a wearer's head and a clip into which the free ends of the seal band are secured at the back of the wearer's head. An upwardly opening channel is integrally molded with the seal band to carry sweat dripping down the wearer's forehead to open channel ends behind the wearer's ears.

Abstract: A helmet for receiving the head of a hockey or lacrosse player, the helmet having an outer shell and an inner lining covering at least partially the inner surface of the outer shell. In one embodiment, the helmet comprises a skeleton at least partially covered by the inner lining, a movable occipital pad and movable temple pads. The inner lining can be made of an absorptive material such as foam, expanded polypropylene or expanded polyethylene and can be overmolded onto the skeleton. The occipital pad and the temple pads may be arranged with an inward bias so as to help the helmet self-adjust to provide an advantageous fit on the player's head. In some embodiments, the outer shell and skeleton, or the outer shell and the inner lining, cooperate to define a ventilation system.

Abstract: An adjustable hockey helmet includes a front shell that is longitudinally movable relative to a rear shell to adjust the length of the helmet. One or more substantially rigid straps or similar elements are attached to the front shell and extend to the interior of the rear shell. A cam mechanism or similar device is included on the rear shell for securing the straps directly or indirectly against the interior of the rear shell to prevent longitudinal movement of the front shell relative to the rear shell once the helmet is adjusted to a desired length. Alternatively, the one or more straps may be attached to the rear shell and the cam mechanism may be included on the front shell.

Abstract: The toilet water tank refilling system includes an inlet pipe adapted for installation within the toilet water tank and adapted for connection to a water supply, a valve connected to the pipe, a float operably connected to the valve to open the valve when the water level falls below a predetermined level and to close the valve when the water level in the tank reaches the predetermined level, and a valve outlet discharging water from the water supply into the tank when the valve is open. The system does not have a valve outlet discharging water from the water supply through the overflow tube directly into the toilet bowl. The only paths for discharging water from the water supply to the toilet bowl in the toilet water tank refilling system are through the tank's flush valve when the toilet is flushed and through the overflow tube when the water level in the tank exceeds the predetermined level.

The valve is operable to let water into the raising unit to raise the pivotal pipe and extend the extensible pipe to move the apertures from the pivotal pipe to spray water.

Each hand washing station includes a basin, a faucet, a solenoid valve configured to control water flow to the faucet, and a electric hand dryer located adjacent the basin and the faucet so that the user of the washing station may use the faucet and the electric hand dryer without leaving the washing station. The electric hand dryer preferably includes an outlet to direct air across the associated basin so that any water that drips from the user's hands will fall within the basin. A control system may be provided to control activation of the fixtures such as the solenoid valve, the electric hand dryer, and/or soap dispenser. The control system may be configured, for example, to inhibit simultaneous activation of the solenoid valve and the hand dryer. A photovoltaic system may be provided to provide power to one or more of electrical fixtures.

The expandable base has a telescopic structure, which may be in the form of an accordion-like structure having annular folding sections or other form of axially collapsible or telescopic structure (e.g., a concentric coupling of a series of nested and axially interlocking cylindrical collars of gradually reducing dimensions). Suction cups provide mounting of the sink organizer onto a sink wall. A bracket is attached to the side of the sink organizer where the suction cup mounting is also provided. The bracket has a handle, which is configured to rest against the top edge of the sink, thus providing additional support for stabilizing the sink organizer after it is attached to the sink wall by the suction cups.

A locking device is operatively connected with respect to the track-end detector such that downward movement thereof causes the locking device to engage the rail thereby stopping the carriage on the track.

Abstract: A foldable bed includes a plurality of connecting bars, a plurality of support bars, and a plurality of stand units. Each of the stand units includes two pivotally connected support legs each having a first end provided with an upper support portion, a second end provided with a lower support portion, and a middle section provided with a pivot portion. Each of the stand units further includes two clamping brackets each mounted on the respective support leg, and two vibration absorbers each mounted in the respective clamping bracket. Thus, when the two support legs are expanded, each of the vibration absorbers on one of the support legs abuts the pivot portion of the other one of the support legs so that the support legs are combined solidly and stably so as to enhance the structural strength of each of the stand units.
