Abstract: A facial cushion for a goggle may have a plurality of layers which provide cushioning, cooling and ergonomic fit functions. The top layer which contacts the wearer's face may have an embossed pattern which creates an air space between the wearer's face and the top layer for providing a cooling function. The embossed top layer also increases the total surface area of the top layer thereby increasing its wicking ability and reduces the total skin contact surface area of the top layer reducing heat. Additionally, the cushion may be thicker at left and right end portions to maintain contact with the wearer's face despite pulling of the left and right ends of the goggle when the goggle is worn with a helmet.

Abstract: The resistance exercise clothing device provides a shirt and a pant. Each is provided with resistance bands disposed within channels. Resistance bands may be permanently installed and may also be removably installed. Resistance bands are provided in various elastic resistance strengths. Removable bands are attached at the origins and insertions by various means that may include but are not limited to mechanical fasteners, such as hook and loop, buttons, snaps, and other appropriate means. The origins of the shirt resistance bands are chosen by a user, from lateral to medial attachment to the shirt reinforced panel. This feature enables further resistance properties of the shirt resistance bands by allowing greater or lesser pre-load. The device provides resistance against limb movements of a user. Upon donning the shirt, a user loops the shirt resistance bands around thumbs and hands. A user loops pant resistance bands around feet.

The protection straps extend from two sides of the waist protection board and are wound over the waist of the pregnant woman to the lower belly to connect with each other for providing a first support force. For a humpback pregnant woman, the sling is conducted through the armpit and wound over the shoulder to connect with the protection straps and the waist protection board for providing a second support force. Therefore, the lower belly supporting/holding force of the protection strap is enhanced and the pregnant woman can more comfortably wear the maternity belt to relieve the waist and back soreness and minimize the risk of humpback.

Cam mechanisms optionally are provided on the helmet shell for securing straps of a chin cup at desired lengths. A face guard optionally is attached within the helmet shell structure, which provides a smooth helmet exterior and promotes distributed energy transfer from the face guard to the helmet shell.

Abstract: The present invention provides a lightweight protective helmet having an improved ventilation system therein. The protective helmet comprises an outer shell and an inner liner that are joined together to form a shell/liner composite. The ventilation system interacts with one or more ventilation ports in the protective helmet to control the flow of ambient air in and out of the interior of the protective helmet. The ventilation system may be integrated or encased within the shell/liner composite, or it may be adapted to be used on the exterior of the helmet. In addition, the ventilation system may include one of several types of interchangeable insert members to allow active or passive control of ambient air into the interior of the helmet.

Abstract: A toilet seat hinge for mounting a toilet seat to a toilet bowl includes a hinge post and a pin extending through the hinge post and defining an axis. The pin is configured to attach the toilet seat to the hinge post for pivotal movement about the axis. The toilet seat hinge also includes a quick release mechanism for releasably securing the hinge post to the toilet bowl. The quick release mechanism includes a member coupled to the pin for pivotal movement about the axis. The member is pivotable about the axis between a first position in which the hinge post is secured to the toilet bowl, and a second position in which the hinge post is released from the toilet bowl.

In general, the replacement closet flange includes a main body comprising a substantially cylindrical section and a flange section extending radially outward from and approximately perpendicular to an upper end of the cylindrical section, a flexible seal attached to at least a portion of the cylindrical section proximate a lower end thereof and configured, when the replacement closet flange is installed, to sealingly engage with the inner surface of the drain pipe, and at least one retaining clip attached to a location about an outer periphery of the cylindrical section. The retaining clip includes a retaining tab proximate an end thereof configured, when the replacement closet flange is installed, to fixedly engage with an inner surface of the drain pipe.

The date feature includes date tabs that may be removably attached to the screen body that may be removed or altered to indicate the desired date, such as a date of installation or expiry date of the urinal screen. The date feature and date tabs may be molded together with the remainder of the urinal screen body, forming a one piece construction made of a plastic material that may withstand the harsh environmental conditions within a urinal or toilet.

Abstract: A water-conserving toilet and method of manufacture includes an upper portion jointed to a lower portion. The upper portion includes an upper and lower opening with a smooth, shallow, sweeping transition therebetween. A first flowpath enters the upper portion for allowing water to wash the upper portion. The lower portion includes a base with sidewalls extending upward to an upper opening, with the sidewalls defining a concave, steeply-sided flushing cavity. A second flowpath enters the lower portion for evacuating the pushing waste out of the flushing cavity and into a waste outlet. In an embodiment the distance between the front and back of the upper portion upper opening is approximately 3 times the distance between the front and back of the upper portion lower opening. In another embodiment the sidewalls extend from the base at an angle between about approximately 45 degrees and approximately 90 degrees.

Folding the foldable components of the slidable and/or rotatable chair make transporting easier and safer because the apparatus is more compact when the foldable components are in the folded position.

According to the invention, a stream of a carrier gas is generated in the nozzle and at least one fluid to be atomized is brought into contact with the carrier gas.

Abstract: A lavatory system is disclosed including one or more integrated hand washing stations. Each hand washing station includes a basin, a faucet, a solenoid valve configured to control water flow to the faucet, and an electric hand dryer located adjacent the basin and the faucet so that the user of the washing station may use the faucet and the electric hand dryer without leaving the washing station. The electric hand dryer preferably includes an outlet to direct air across the associated basin so that any water that drips from the user's hands fall within the basin. A control system may be provided to control activation of the fixtures such as the solenoid valve, the electric hand dryer, and/or soap dispenser. The control system may be configured to inhibit simultaneous activation of the solenoid valve and the hand dryer. A photovoltaic system may be provided to provide power.

Dry air is circulated through the interior of the support surface to draw away the moisture. Air movers and air dryers are used to circulate and recondition the air in a closed flow path through the patient support surface and back into the air movers and dryers. Alternatively, environmental air may be dried and propelled by the air movers and dryers through the interior of the support surface and discharged back into the environment.

A long axial brush is provided between two nearby brush supporting bases of the sliding engine bases. The setting direction of the long axial brush is vertical to that of the long axial tracks.

Abstract: The vehicle mounted highway refuse collector gathers discarded refuse from roadway surfaces at normal highway speeds without slowing down. The refuse collector can gather discarded tire treads, or pieces of furniture, and even dead animals at normal speeds safely. At normal highway speeds, the impact with refuse provides centrifugal force sufficient to gather and rotate debris up and onto a storage shelf allowing the continued operation of the refuse collector until it is full. At less than highway speeds, motor assistance provides the means to gather in, and rotate debris onto the storage shelf safely for operation at slower speeds as in city streets. The cleanout when full is facilitated by pull-pins that drop down the storage shelf so as to be easily unloaded.
