Abstract: Rotary lug breeches and weapons including such rotary lug breeches are disclosed. An example rotary lug breech includes a bolt carrier. Wherein when releasing the bolt, a cam section of a receiver converts a releasing motion into a screwing motion to release a cartridge. During the screwing motion, a first stud surface interacts with the cam section. During a locking process, the first stud surface engages the cam section to perform a pre-control process that rotates a control pin in a slot from a releasing position in which an advancement of the bolt carrier exerts substantially no torque on the bolt, to a control position in which a first slot surface of the slot interacts with the control pin. When the bolt carrier moves forward, the bolt carrier exerts a torque on the bolt to enable the bolt and the bolt carrier move relative to one another.

Abstract: A firearm has a firing mechanism that includes a firing pin, a drop safety, a spring mounted to the drop safety and a trigger in mechanical communication with the firing pin and the drop safety. The drop safety includes a roller portion having an outer circumferential surface and an inner opposing wall. When the trigger is actuated, the opposing wall of the drop safety abuts and engages the firing pin in the forward-most axial position thereof, thereby allowing the firing pin to strike a primer of a chambered round of ammunition. In all other configurations, the spring rotationally biases the drop safety so that the outer circumferential surface of the roller portion of the drop safety blocks the forward axial reciprocation of the firing pin, preventing the firing pin from engaging the primer of a chambered round of ammunition.

Abstract: What is disclosed is The present inventive concept is generally directed to a magnetic, detachable, side-mounted, ammunition carrier for a gun, specifically for a rifle or shotgun. Generally speaking, the carrier is detachably located by a user on one of the sides of ammunition-chamber loading region of a rifle or shotgun. In an embodiment, the ammunition carrier is comprised of a substantially rigid, magnetic substrate on which is a plurality of flexible, elastic, radially closed, loops/sleeves that are each adapted to receive a shotgun shell or other round of ammunition. The ammunition carrier allows for the easy mounting and access of extra ammunition without having to modify the firearm from its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) configuration. In some variations, the ammunition carrier is further equipped with a non-magnetic tab of sorts to aid a user in the easy detachment of the device from the metal side of the firearm.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dehumidifying or drying air entering a greenhouse while it is being cooled are disclosed. Air to be cooled is drawn through a cooling medium, and the systems and methods make use of heat extracted from the hot air before entering the cooling mechanism for use in heating the cooled air exiting the cooling mechanism. This reinsertion of the extracted heat into the exiting air allows for humidity control while maintaining a lower temperature compared to the temperature of the air as it entered the cooling mechanism. Different embodiments according to the present invention comprise closed-loop, energy neutral air drying systems that do not utilize external energy or materials to dry the air. This provides an energy efficient air drying system that allows for greenhouse operation with reduced operating costs.

The chain disk locking mechanism includes a chain disk, an engaging rotary block, a stationary shaft and a plurality of moving pins. When the chain disk is pulled to rotate, the fixed pins of the chain disk press the moving pins so as to push the engaging rotary block to rotate with the stationary shaft together. When the chain disk is pulled manually, the rolling door can be rolled upward or downward; when cease pulling the chain disk, braking is immediately effected so as to prevent the rolling door from moving upward or downward. Objects may be attached to the flat plate, thereby securing such objects to the ground when the ground spike is used. The ground spike may have a post receiving socket secured to the flat plate. Each component may comprise metals of varying thickness and rigidity or other suitable materials.

Abstract: A precast concrete floor system that eliminates the need for column corbels and beam ledges while being very shallow. The main advantages of the present system include a span-to-depth ratio of 30, a flat soffit, economy, consistency with prevailing erection techniques, and fire and corrosion protection. The present system consists of continuous precast columns, prestressed rectangular beams, hollow-core planks, and cast-in-place composite topping. Testing results have indicated that a 12 inch deep flat soffit precast floor system has adequate capacity to carry gravity loads (including 100 psf live load) in a 30 ft×30 ft bay size. Testing has also shown that shear capacity of the ledge-less hollow-core-beam connections can be accurately predicted using the shear friction theory.
