Abstract: Cutting members for razors are provided that have a blade portion and a base portion, the blade portion having a cutting edge region terminated at a free end thereof and an opposing non-cutting edge region, the blade portion being bent relative to the base portion in a bent portion spaced from the cutting edge region and adjacent to the non-cutting edge region, wherein the bent portion extends about 108 degrees to about 115 degrees from the base portion, the bent portion having a radius of about 0.30 mm to about 0.45 mm, at least part of the cutting member having a hardness of about hardness of about 540 HV to about 750 HV, and a thickness of the bent portion is less than the average thickness of the cutting member.

Abstract: An apparatus for maintaining a hair treatment device includes a housing, a brush assembly mounted to the housing and having a plurality of bristles dimensioned and adapted for at least one of cleaning and removal of hair from a clipper assembly of a hair treatment device and a dispensing member mounted to the housing and having a treatment agent for depositing on the clipper assembly. The dispensing member may include an absorbent member such as a sponge, pad or cloth. The treatment agent may be one of a lubricant, cleaning agent or medicinal.

One handle of the main body has a wedging opening at a front end near a blade, and a slot is recessedly formed at a bottom wall of the wedging opening. The adjustable structure located corresponding to the wedging opening has a connecting block, a restricting block, a pressing unit and a restricting unit. The position of the restricting block can be adjusted, so that the restricting block can protrude and lean against the outer periphery of the blade through the opening of the connecting block and forms a secure positioning when the restricting unit engages with the restricting slot. The blade can be restricted by the restricting block, and the angle between the handle and blade cab be further limited.

Abstract: A microwave dryer and a microwave drying method are provided to evaporate water by using the penetrability of microwave. A wind screen (14) arranged in a dryer body (6) is used as a heat storage body to store heat temporarily when the material in the dryer body (6) is heated. Hot air in the dryer body (6) is extracted by an air discharging system and redelivered to the dryer body (6) from the bottom of the dryer. The specific weight of the material after water is evaporated is reduced, so the dried material can be carried out of the dryer body (6) if enough wind power is provided.

Abstract: A control system for dryers in which the rotation speed of the motors are changed through frequent on/off connections to the electric power line. In accordance with the invention this task is solved by interrupting the electric power driving the electric motor for short periods in such a way that the motor does not come to a complete standstill or remains at a constant speed below the maximum speed. The motor power interruption or application is based upon readings of sensors reading dryer parameters other than the actual speed of the motor being controlled.

Abstract: A portable carrier for a hair dryer comprises a receptacle adapted to receive the hair dryer and one or more straps facilitating carrying of the portable carrier by a user. The portable carrier contains ventilation netting on a portion intended to cover air intake vents of the hair dryer. Openings are provided in the carrier to accommodate hair dryer cords and plugs. The hair dryer is preferably of a turtle shell shape and is powered by rechargeable batteries and remote controlled.

Abstract: A method of processing at least one garment involves a local environment with ambient moisture, a garment having a moisture content, a plurality of work stations, and a threshold amount of moisture. The plurality of work stations operate according to a plurality of parameters. The threshold amount of moisture is the amount of ambient moisture naturally absorbed by the garment. The method includes a processing step, a measuring step, a determining step and an adjusting step. The garment is processed through at least one of the work stations during the processing step. During the measuring step, the moisture content of the garment is measured. The relationship between the measured moisture content and the threshold amount of moisture is determined during the determining step. And, at least one parameter is adjusted based on the relationship between the measured moisture content and the threshold amount of moisture during the adjusting step.

Abstract: A clothes treatment apparatus and a method for controlling a clothes treatment apparatus are provided. The clothes treatment apparatus may include a drying duct, a first blower fan located in the drying duct that circulates interior air within the drying duct, and a filter located in the drying duct. The method may include sensing clogging of the filter, and switching a flow of air passing through the filter from a first direction to an opposite second direction if clogging of the filter is sensed. The method may further include a washing cycle for washing clothes, and a drying cycle for drying the clothes. An implementation time of the washing cycle may be less than an implementation time of the drying cycle.

Abstract: A clothes treatment apparatus and a method for controlling a clothes treatment apparatus are provided. The method may include feeding heated hot air to clothes or other items received in a drum, and dehydrating the clothes or other items by performing a first rotation cycle for rotating the drum at a first RPM for a predetermined period of time. The first RPM may be a RPM that allows a centrifugal force applied to the clothes or other items during rotation of the drum to exceed gravity.

Abstract: A dryer monitoring system receives dryer information from one or more sensors concerning operation of one or more dryers, such as clothes dryers. For example, the dryer monitoring system may receive temperature and/or humidity information from one or more dryers. The dryer monitor analyzes the dryer data to determine whether textiles in the dryer are dry. The dryer monitor may analyze one or more states and/or one or more indicators (patterns in the dryer data) during the dryness determination.

In one embodiment, the device may be a metatarsal protection device, which may include a first layer of material having top and bottom surfaces, with at least one of such surfaces including a series of cones or a pattern of hexagons thereon. The metatarsal protection device may also include a second relatively rigid layer of material overlying the first layer, and the first layer may be shaped to conform to the metatarsal region of the user's foot, such that the device is configured to protect the metatarsal region against injury. Other configurations and variations of a metatarsal protection device are also disclosed, as are other uses for the principles of the invention(s) disclosed herein (e.g., protection devices for other areas of the foot, etc.

The protector has a body made of a pliable, flexible, and durable material that conforms to the contours of the back and heel of a shoe. Straps formed integrally with the body wrap around the driver's ankle, and a central portion of the protector extends over the rear and heel of the driver's shoe, keeping sharp dirt and abrasive debris from scuffing or scratching the shoe. It is accordingly an object of the invention to trap a lobster and prevent it from escaping. The Mark I lobster net closes by flipping a lever with the thumb, preventing the lobster from escape. The overall density of the net is greater than that of sea water. If the net is dropped, it will fall to the bottom and not drift off. The handle is painted a florescent yellow so that it can be seen on the ocean floor.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a motorised fumigation system designed to promote the control of agricultural and urban pests in open spaces, more particularly among the systems that can carry out the fumigation process by creating a hot or a cold mist, and more specifically due the fact of both processes of the mist creation could be integrated into one light weight vehicle. The system of the present invention consists of three subsystems: a first subsystem designed to storage and pumping (S1); a second subsystem designed to hot fumigation (S2); and a third subsystem designed to cold fumigation (S3).
