Abstract: Method and apparatus for decoding a transmitted signal by a receiver in a MIMO system into a first estimate component for estimating a first signal, a first interference component indicating interference resulting from a correlation relationship among a set of signals to be transmitted, and a first noise component. A base station generates the transmitted signal from the set of signals through a coding process, the coding process defining a correlation relationship amongst the set of signals. The correlation information about the correlation relationship is transmitted to the receiver directly or by a dedicated reference symbol. The decoding is performed by determining a linear receiver filter for the first signal in accordance with the correlation information, and de-correlating the first signal and interferences.

Abstract: Occurrences of a particular event in an electronic device are counted by incrementing an event counter each time a variable number of the particular events have occurred, and automatically increasing that variable number as the total count increases. The variable number (prescale value) can increase geometrically according to a programmable counter base each time the count mantissa overflows. The event counter thereby provides hardware-implemented automatic prescaling while significantly reducing the number of interface bits required to support very large count ranges, and retaining high accuracy at very large event counts.

Abstract: The object is to enable cipher communication even when a cipher key in a one-time pad cipher (Vernam cipher) is running short. A one-time pad encrypting part encrypts communication data by the one-time pad cipher by sequentially using part of a one-time pad cipher key stored in a one-time pad cipher key storage part, to generate encrypted data. A block-encrypting part encrypts communication data by a block cipher by using a block-cipher key stored in a block-cipher key storage part, to generate encrypted data. An encryption control part controls whether the communication data is to be encrypted by the one-time pad encrypting part, or by the block-encrypting part, depending on a remaining bit count of the one-time pad cipher key stored in the one-time pad cipher key storage part.

Abstract: A device specific key is generated within an electronic device by providing a challenge to a physically unclonable function (PUF) structure integrated within the electronic device, where the PUF structure outputs a specific response based upon a specific challenge provided to the PUF structure. The PUF response is provided to a cryptographic module integrated within the electronic device, and a device specific key is generated by the cryptographic module utilizing a cryptographic key generation algorithm. The device specific key is generated based upon a combination of input data including the PUF response and data that is specific to the electronic device.

Abstract: A video player sends a video content identifier and a video player identifier through a network to a server. The video content identifier identifies video content. The video player identifier identifies the video player. Further, a first subset of encrypted video content and an initialization vector are received from a server. In addition, a hash of the video player identifier is generated. The first subset of the encrypted video content is decrypted with a decryption key to generate a first result. Further, a first operation on the initialization vector and the hash is performed to generate a second result. In addition, a second operation is performed on the first result and the second result to generate a first subset of plaintext of video content.

Abstract: A voice and screen capture archive and review process that enables a user to manage and evaluate customer service representative interactions with customers. An audio recording and a video recording of the computer screen of the customer service representative are captured and encrypted and merged together into a formatted file. The formatted file is stored on a storage server for access by the user. Through a web based API, the user can access the stored files and playback the interaction between the customer service representative and the customer for evaluation and training purposes.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a device includes a storage and an authenticator. The storage includes a first area, a second area and a third area. The first area stores NKey and SecretID, the second area stores index information. E-SecretID is generated by SecretID. The third area stores FKB including information generated by FKey. The authenticator authenticates the external device. HKey is generated by an AES encryption calculating using NKey and HC. A SKey is generated by an AES encryption process using HKey and RN. A one-way conversion calculating is performed. E-SecretID, FKB and Oneway-ID are output to the external device. The index information is read from the second area.

Abstract: A method for pre-accessing a conference telephone is disclosed in the present invention. The method includes that: a network side detects a received call whose target is a main control party after the main control party initiates an encryption conference telephone; the call is not accessed if the call is a non-encryption conversation; the call is allowed to be accessed if the call is an encryption conversation. A system for pre-accessing a conference telephone is also disclosed in the present invention, wherein, the system includes a pre-accessing processing unit and a call type detection unit of the network side. A network side device is also disclosed in the present invention. The present invention realizes the pre-accessing of the encryption conference telephone, thereby improving security of the encryption conversation as well as avoiding the problem that a user is frequently affected when performing the encryption conference telephone.

Abstract: Methods and systems for LLE encrypting and decrypting voice message streams (VMSs) already supporting eTe encryption are disclosed. In one example, LLE and eTe encryption initialization vectors (EIVs) are interleaved such that an LLE EIV retrieved from one of a header and a data unit is used to LLE decrypt both the header or data unit and a subsequent data unit. A recovered eTe EIV is used to eTe decrypt voice payloads in one or more subsequent data units. In another example, a base station dynamically LLE encrypts a VMS already supporting eTe encrypting by determining whether a received VMS is eTe encrypted, and ii it is not generating a new LLE EIV, and if it is, re-using the pre-existing eTe EIV for LLE encryption. The LLE encrypted (and perhaps eTe encrypted) VMS is then sent over the air to one or more mobile stations.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus provide dedicated group key distribution in systems employing generic object oriented substation events (GOOSE). The method includes defining a group configuration for the GOOSE system via a plurality of field devices, verifying possession by each field device in the group of an asymmetric key pair, distributing a group key individually to each field group member device by a substation controller via a secure interaction between the substation controller and the group member device, and updating the group key after the group configuration has changed.
