Abstract: A new and distinct Helleborus niger cultivar named ‘VERBEAUTY2’ is disclosed, characterized by distinctive pure white flowers on a strong, compact plant. Plants of the new variety produce an abundance of flowers and are tolerant of high light conditions. The new variety is a Helleborus, normally produced as an ornamental plant.

Abstract: A process for making a lenticular card including: providing an imaged transparent sheet having a first smooth side and a second side with a lenticulated region, the transparent sheet optionally having at least one printed image area on the first smooth side and a moisture cure adhesive layer over the printed image areas and non-image areas of the first smooth side, and the moisture cure adhesive layer being applied with a screen press through a screen; and combining the imaged transparent sheet on the adhesive layer side of the transparent sheet with a backing sheet by nipping the paired sheets with a nip roller. The invention also provides processes useful for preparing a lenticular card including an optional core sheet, or optional primer layers.

Upper and lower leaf springs respectively support the holder so as to be displaceable along the optical axis direction of the lens unit; a base for supporting the yoke and the lower spring.

Abstract: This document describes apparatus and methods for a self-contained assembly having an encapsulated electronic module coupled to a heat removal device by a thermally conductive substance. In an illustrative example, the module includes at least one heat dissipating device thermally coupled by internal members to selected portions of a housing. The module housing includes a flat top surface with a perimeter adjoined to side surfaces. In one example, the heat removal device includes a cavity interior surface with an upper surface to match the module top surface, and side walls that match at least 50% by area of the selected portions of the module side surfaces. The cavity interior surface may receive at least 50% of the housing surface area. The matched portion of the cavity side surfaces may be at least 33% by area of the portion of the cavity upper surface that matches the module top surface.

An insulated conductive cord member has a first end portion connected electrically to the socket member, and a second end portion that extends into the closed accommodating space via the cord hole in the partition plate.

This extension adds a new attribute to user information, including an indicator that explicitly indicates to a user that certain information is the user's own information. Therefore, when a user desiring anonymity joins a conference and then subscribes to the conference event package in order to obtain the roster, the conference lists one of the participants with an indicator that indicates to the user that this particular participant is the user.

Abstract: Provided is an optical transceiver module of an optical transceiver, which is used for optical communications. The optical transceiver module prevents electrical crosstalk between a light source and a light receiver. Additionally, the optical transceiver module includes an optical transceiver unit including a light source and a light receiver together integrated into a substrate, a circuit unit including a drive circuit driving the light source and a detect circuit reading a signal of the light receiver, and a crosstalk prevention unit connected between the substrate and ground to prevent electrical crosstalk between the light source and the light receiver.

According to the present invention, it is provided that font data of at least some of multi-languages to be used in multilingual subtitle processing are recorded on certain area(s) of a DVD, the recorded font data are stored in a font memory at initial stage of playback, the stored font data corresponding to a language selected by selection input of a user are then read, characters for subtitle processing of the selected language are displayed. Therefore, the manufacturing cost of DVD players can be reduced due to the reduction of memory capacity requied and DVDs can be maximum efficiently utilized.

Abstract: A method of synchronizing and reconfiguring configurable elements in a programmable unit is provided. A unit has a two- or multi-dimensional, programmable cell architecture (e.g., DFP, DPGA, etc.), and any configurable element can have access to a configuration register and a status register of the other configurable elements via an interconnection architecture and can thus have an active influence on their function and operation. By making synchronization the responsibility of each element, more synchronization tasks can be performed at the same time because independent elements no longer interfere with each other in accessing a central synchronization instance.

Abstract: An adjustable and flexible sports headgear for protecting against injuries. A front panel protects the forehead, eyes, nose, and face of the wearer. The front panel extends from the forehead to the nose tip, allowing the wearer to breathe, and has a pair of openings that accommodate the eyes and permit unobstructed vision. A rear panel protects the back of the head and has two ends and a fastener connecting the ends to secure the headgear to the head. Side panels extend from opposite ends of the front panel to the rear panel. The side panels have ear protectors with apertures that facilitate hearing. Impact-absorbing padding is located along the front panel to protect the forehead and along the side panels to protect the temples. A strap connects the side panels with a releasable connector and, when connected, spans over the top of the head of the wearer.

Abstract: Athletic apparel containing protective underlayer comprising molded foam padding that are shaped and curved to match the anatomical regions to reduce the bulk of the underlayers. The molded foam pads a perforated structure to allow for increased flexibility and ventilation. Protective underlayers that surround regions of motion, such as the hip joint, are notched to provide articulation of the protective underlayer that will improve mobility of the athletic apparel wearer.

A radius arm can be connected to the caster carriage and to an arm of one of the levers.
