Abstract: An adjustable garment that forms a hand sheath with at least one fingerlike extension, and operable to adjust in length through various means for providing various amounts of protection to the hand against radiation. The adjustable garment includes a body portion configured to be operable to at least partially cover a hand. The body portion includes a body proximal end and a body distal end. The body proximal end includes a body aperture configured to at least partially allow a hand to pass through. Each extension can be manipulated, pushed, or pulled to expose additional areas of each finger. For example, a lateral force presses the extension proximal end towards the body portion, thereby at least partially exposing the at least one finger. The lateral force pressing against each extension serves to deform the size and dimensions of the flexible extension to deform, stretch, or twist.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a device comprising a body that defines a first surface and a second surface and defines a first, second, third and fourth lateral sides. In one embodiment, the first surface defines a first aperture and a second aperture. In one embodiment, the thickness of the body along the first lateral side is greater than the thickness of the body along the third lateral side such that the first surface slopes downwards from the first lateral side towards the third lateral side. The device not only reduces the pressure on the tailbone or on the hemorrhoids for a person in a seated position, but also reduces the discomfort or pain associated with settling into a seated position or emerging from a seated position.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to the field of juvenile products, specifically infant support or nursing pillows, the intent of which is to support an infant in a variety of settings by providing a stable surface upon which to rest. Various embodiments include a generally crescent shaped device, comprised of a resilient fill material surrounded by a fabric shell and having a top and a bottom surface connected by a band of uniform width extending vertically and wholly about the perimeter of the pillow. The top and bottom surfaces are distinctly different in dimension, resulting in the pillow having an asymmetrical cross section, with one side having generally more loft and the other being substantially flat along a plane perpendicular to the perimeter band. A medial region between two extending arms forms a well, for the purpose of receiving a human torso or small child.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for providing therapeutic treatment for symptoms associated with GERD and/or other digestive disorders and/or other medical conditions are described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a support element and a conformable riser element adjacent the support element. The riser element and the support element collectively form a body support member configured to support a user and define a receiving portion configured to receive a portion of the user's arm. The riser element and the support element are each disposed within a casing formed at least in part with a stretch material. In some embodiments, the riser element includes a polyester filler material and the stretch material includes a four-way stretch material. The four-way stretch material in combination with the polyester filler material enables the riser element to be conformable.
