Abstract: The clothing having a frontal land and a rear land includes: a thermal storage unit provided on at least one portion of the frontal land of the clothing; and a planar thermoconductive sheet located in a planar between the frontal land and the rear land, the planar thermoconductive sheet having a thermal conduction path to the thermal storage unit, and the planar thermoconductive sheet being higher in thermoconductivity than the frontal land and the rear land. The planar thermoconductive sheet includes a resin component and graphite particles. Basal plane of each graphite particle is parallel to the direction of the plane of the planar thermoconductive sheet.

Abstract: The present invention is a pillow bib that generally comprises of a body portion and a plurality of adjustable straps. The body portion has a front panel and a rear panel. The front panel of the pillow bib includes an opening. The plurality of adjustable straps is provided with at least one fastening means on their free ends, for fastening the free ends together. In use, a pillow is inserted into the opening provided on the front panel of the pillow bib. The opening provides a storage space for the pillow. The pillow is in the shape of the opening, thus allowing a perfect fit. The size of the bib may be configured according to the size of the user. The bib can be tied across the shoulder in either direction, thus allowing the wearer to hold the child in either shoulder.

The invention can include other pieces of garments that are attachable to the pelvic belt and detachable there from depending on the function desired by the caregiver.

A top edge of the insert includes a plurality of slits to facilitate fitting of the insert onto the curved inside surface of the athletic head covering. A method of using a disposable absorbent insert on a forehead-contacting, curved inside surface of a user's athletic head covering is also described.

While the neck portion may be configured to go behind the user's neck, the apparel also may include a connector to join the apparel together in front of the user, helping to keep the cushion formed around the user's neck. In addition, the scarf may include pockets at a position generally where the user's hands would lie when sitting or standing, such that tensioning the scarf with the user's arms may increase the cushioning effect of the pillow.

The attachment device may include a first loop shaped portion which is configured to be placed around a top portion of the hat. A first end of the elongated member may be attached to the mirror and an opposing second end may be pivotally attached to the first portion. The attachment device may attach the mirror to the hat so that a reflective surface of the mirror can be seen by a person wearing the hat on a head of the person, when the attachment device is in a first state, and cannot be seen by the person when the attachment device is in a second state.

The device includes a headband (106) having an elongated slot (103) and a pivot element (120) which is affixed to the face shield (160). The pivot element is slidably located within the slot to enable translational movement of the face shield. The pivot element is also rotatable within the slot to enable rotational movement of the face shield. The device also includes a retaining element for retaining the pivot element in the slot to enable translational movement of the pivot element and face shield. Translational movement of the pivot element enables the face shield to be positioned closer to, or further from, a user's face in order to provide greater comfort for the user.

Abstract: This embodiment relates to leg garters for fashion wear, it is the goal of this embodiment to improve articles of this character toward new, versatile, and serviceable applications of wear. The embodiment includes the application of magnetic and mechanical closure options that improve the safety, support, adjustable sizing, fastening and marketing actions of leg garters. The mechanical closure includes hook and eye tape, snaps, etc. The magnetic closure is adapted for excess banding of materials and measurement adjustability for the garter. Synchmnously, the embodiment offers a new and useful purpose of converting leg garters into jewelry. An extended snap fastener is included for interchangeable ornaments. A box barrel clasp is added for ease of use and advertising advantage in the display of the garter. Lastly, the embodiment offers the new device of a magnetic buckle slider that assists with closure action and adjustability that also visually enhances the garter.

Abstract: A protective helmet is described, with a helmet shell and with an interior fitting subassembly which comprises at least one supporting cage, a head band and a neck band. Three supporting arms serve to fasten the subassembly to the helmet shell with a spacing. A clearance is thus provided between the interior fitting subassembly and the helmet shell for receiving ear protection capsules and supporting brackets of an ear protection and of other helmet accessories. When not in use, the ear protection can be pivoted under the helmet shell. The protective helmet therefore does not provide any engagement possibilities whatsoever for obstacles such as branches and the like. The supporting arms partially transmit a force acting on the helmet from above back into the helmet shell in order to elastically deform the latter. The helmet therefore has an improved shock absorption capability.

The basic body can be pivoted relative to the neck shell by a tightening lever linked thereto which is supported on the transmission lever by a cam.

Abstract: A protective helmet, which includes a motion restrictor device, is disclosed. The device includes a strut having a pair of relatively moveable strut members. One of the strut members is associated with the helmet, and the other strut member is associated a harness assembly. The device also includes a brake assembly, with the assembly providing a plurality of arrest rates. Each of the arrests rates corresponds with a rate of relative motion (or acceleration) and a corresponding force experienced between the pair of strut members.

Abstract: Protective garments are disclosed having an inner lining with high lubricity and high strength characteristics. The inner lining, in one embodiment, contains spun yarns combined with para-aramid multifilament yarns. The spun yarns may also contain flame resistant fibers, such as meta-aramid fibers, FR cellulose fibers, or mixtures thereof. The para-aramid filament yarns provide excellent strength characteristics to the fabric. In addition, in some embodiments, the multifilament yarns may enhance the fire resistant properties of the fabric. In one embodiment, the para-aramid filament yarns may have less than five twists per inch, such as from about 1 twist per inch to about four twists per inch.

Abstract: The invention provides a flush free drain trap system. The trap of the invention may be used in any trap system intended to block a back flow of odors from the waste line. A sealant liquid floats on top of the waste liquid in the trap to block odors. The trap uses one passageway to pass liquids to the sewer line, similarly to a conventional drain system, for preventing overflow and allowing cleaning. A second passageway allows the trap to dispose of small amounts of the waste liquid though an opening and a valve operated by the buoyancy caused by the accumulation of waste liquid in the trap. In normal use, waste liquid is passed to the sewer line without loss of sealant liquid. Furthermore, the performance of the trap is not affected by the evaporation of the waste liquid when the trap is unused.

Abstract: A system, device, and kit to vent noxious odors emanating from within the bowl of a commode. The device comprises a toilet seat with intake vent holes in fluid communication with exhaust vent holes. The system includes a commode, the toilet seat, an electric motor-driven exhaust fan, a filter that absorbs odors, and a switch to turn on and off the exhaust fan. The toilet seat exhaust holes are in fluid communication with the filter and exhaust fan. The toilet seat intake holes are located such that when the toilet seat is lowered, the intake holes are on the bottom or sides of the toilet seat; thus the exhaust fan aspirates the noxious odors contained within and near the toilet bowl. A kit comprises the described components, except the commode, such that the toilet seat and exhaust components can be attached to a conventional commode.

The cap can include a decorative shape. The chain is flexible and is placed in the drain, sometimes through a hole in a drain cover. The chain can be detachably connected to the cap by a coupling element to facilitate easy replacement of the chain, or can be integrally connected to the cap. During use, hair gathers on the chain. The chain is pulled out of the drain by the decorative cap positioned over the drain. The chain can be cleaned of entangled hair and reused, or the chain can be discarded with or without the cap, by either leaving the chain connected to the cap or by detaching the chain from the cap and replacing it with a new chain.

The drain adjunct member is “T-shaped” for limiting the possibility of limb entrapment and further includes anti-hair entangling mesh and vacuum relief holes for limiting the possibility of hair and body entrapment. In the event that an individual does block water flow into the drain adjunct member, the unblocked vacuum relief holes prevent a vacuum force from being created by allowing increased intake of water therethrough. The arrangement of the vacuum relief holes on the body of the drain adjunct member disrupts the vortex effect otherwise created by the typical single direction flow of water in a standard main drain pipe, thereby further limiting the likelihood of limb, body or hair entrapment.
