Abstract: The present invention provides a mobile folding choral riser having lift-assist and stability mechanisms. In particular, the choral riser includes a gas cylinder that provides a force tending to extend the cylinder to assist in folding the riser into a storage position, the cylinder providing substantially no force to resist rapid extension thereof. In addition, the choral riser preferably includes a back railing linkage that permits independent raising and lowering of a back railing member when the choral riser is in a use or partially folded position but constrains the back railing member to a raised position when the choral riser is in an at least substantially fully folded position.

The ridge tile has an elongate shape in the length direction and includes transversely a downwardly concave symmetrical central portion (2) that is extended laterally and symmetrically on either side by two plane flanges (3) sloping laterally downwards beside the central portion, the flanges being carried by two planes that intersect with a downwardly facing internal angle between the flanges, the flanges being designed to be applied flat against two flat slopes of an upside-down V-shaped roof along the angular connection between the slopes, the slopes defining between them a determined ridge angle. In the absence of deformation stress, the internal angle between the flanges is 106 degrees±10 degrees, i.e. a flange angle relative to the horizontal of 37 degrees±5 degrees.

These sub-treads and sub-risers are assembled into staircase stringers that have pre-routed channels that are sufficient to install sub-treads and sub-risers having a particular thickness and having room for subsequent placement or installation of capping treads and risers by sliding them laterally into the channels created by the double routing of the stringers. Abstract: A post-tensioned concrete cap foundation has helical anchors with pipes having several helical discs welded around the pipe perimeter to spin drill deep into subsurface soils or other soft materials with holes in the pipe for high pressure-grouting in place. The helical anchor pipes are coupled to a tensioning element for pulling and post-tensioning the helical anchor. The helical anchors are tension anchors which can be converted to compression anchors. The helical anchors in tension serve to pull the foundation cap down to compress the underlying soil while the compression anchors limit the maximum settlement of the concrete foundation cap. The foundation also includes perimeter-forming and interior corrugated metal pipes with upper and lower sleeved horizontally extending radial bolts that are secured to the pipes and post-tensioned to provide lateral foundation compression.

Abstract: A filter for use in a baghouse. The filter is to be supported by a tubesheet that separates dirty fluid and clean fluid chambers of the baghouse. The filter including a filtration bag that has an open end adjacent to the tubesheet and an encircling sidewall that extends from the open end to a distal end along a direction of a central axis of the filtration bag. The bag sidewall permits passage of fluid there through so that the fluid may pass from the dirty fluid chamber to the clean fluid chamber and blocks passage of at least some particulate material against proceeding to the clean fluid chamber. The filter includes a cage located within the filtration bag. The cage has structure to permit expansion of the cage to increase a cage diameter that forces the bag sidewall taut against the cage.

Abstract: A separator for a wet gas stream has an upper conduit having an inlet, an outlet and an outer peripheral wall. A helical baffle is positioned within the upper conduit defining a helical flow path. The helical flow path generates a vortex in gas flowing through the upper conduit, such that liquids in the gas stream move toward the outer peripheral wall. A lower conduit has an input in axial alignment with the outlet of the upper conduit and an outlet. The input of the lower conduit and the output of the upper conduit are separated by a gap, such that liquids are ejected from the upper conduit without entering the lower conduit, and such that the gas stream within the upper conduit is transferred to the lower conduit.
