Abstract: A micropump device including a first wafer and a second wafer attached to the first wafer. The first and second wafers are configured to define a chamber therebetween having a predetermined volume. A third wafer is attached to the second wafer to define an inlet section and an outlet section in fluid communication with the chamber. At least one of the second and third wafers are formed to define a moveable diaphragm configured to change the predetermined volume of the chamber for pumping a fluid between the inlet section and the outlet section.

Abstract: An air-cooling method is provided which includes providing a heat exchanger door and a catch bracket. The door is hingedly mounted to the air inlet or outlet side of an electronics rack, and includes: a door frame spanning at least a portion of the air inlet or outlet side of the rack, wherein the frame includes an airflow opening which facilitates airflow through the rack; an air-to-coolant heat exchanger supported by the door frame and disposed so that airflow through the airflow opening passes thereacross; and a door latch mechanism to selectively latch the heat exchanger door to the rack. The catch bracket is attached to the rack and sized to extend from the rack into the heat exchanger door through a catch opening, and the door latch mechanism is configured and mounted within the heat exchanger door to physically engage the catch bracket within the heat exchanger door.

Abstract: A method of forming a heat exchanger tube by folding a strip of heat conductive material into a “B” shaped double nosed tube. The strip is progressively plastically deformed to form a pair of corrugations, wherein each of the corrugations includes a series of alternating crests and web segments. An internal nose is defined by an outward extension of the outer most crest followed by an inward curve. The corrugations are then folded inward toward a surface of the strip forming a pair of folded corrugations defining a central wall along the first fold. The folded corrugations are then folded inward toward the same surface of the strip such that the central walls are tightly abutted against each other, and the internal noses are abutted up against a respective portion of the surface along the second fold, thereby forming the double nosed folded tube.

Abstract: A method of assembling a planetary gearset includes die-forming plurality of circumferentially spaced apart teeth on a sun gear, a planet gear an a ring gear. Each tooth includes a pair of tooth flanks in a final net form for engagement with mating gear teeth. The sun gear teeth have a conical shape to allow a first die to linearly move relative to a second die after the gear teeth are die-formed. The planet gears are mounted on a carrier. The sun gear and the planet gear are oriented such that the conical shapes of the respective gear teeth taper in opposite directions from one another and the planet gear teeth meshingly engage with both the ring gear teeth and the sun gear teeth.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a roll for roll printing/roll imprinting is provided. The method includes preparing an exterior on one surface of which a printed pattern of a predetermined shape is formed and that has magnetic power and having the other surface of the exterior contact an external surface of a central roll so that the exterior is attached to the central roll having magnetic power by magnetic power. Therefore, the method of manufacturing a roll for roll printing/roll imprinting capable of reducing production cost to massively manufacture the roll for roll printing/roll imprinting is provided.

When the lock blade is closed, a spring working in conjunction with the transfer bar assembly biases the lock blade closed. Abstract: A cutting accessory detachably mounted on an oscillating power tool is disclosed. The oscillating power tool includes a head housing and an output shaft extending from the head housing. The output shaft rotates oscillatingly about a longitudinal axis thereof. The cutting accessory includes a housing adapted to the head housing, two movable blades partly received in the housing, and a driving element adapted to the output shaft. The driving element is configured to oscillate by the actuation of the output shaft and simultaneously drives the two movable blades to move in the opposite directions to cut a workpiece.

Abstract: The hair clipper of the present invention includes an adjusting device for adjusting a clipping height. The adjusting device includes an attachment, a handle ring, and a connection mechanism. The attachment is allowed to move in a predetermined moving direction relative to a blade block. The handle ring is allowed to rotate around a rotation axis extending along the moving direction. The connection mechanism moves the attachment with rotation of the handle ring. The connection mechanism includes a cam groove and a linking pin allowed to move along the cam groove. The cam groove includes a first side and a second side opposite to each other. The first side includes: plural step parts which are formed in different positions in the moving direction and extend in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction; and a slope part configured to connect the step parts.

Abstract: A method and device are described for defining a pair of position angles needed to measure an angular location of a point in space with respect to a central point using a sphere having surface measurements substantially similar to a Cartesian coordinate system, and a cardinal point with a pair of angular coordinates thereof that represent the pair of position angles. The method may also be performed using a substantially Cartesian two dimensional surface wherein the diameter of the sphere divided by the fractional length of the coordinate along the X and Y axes provides the X and Y angular values of the pair of position angles, respectively. Such features enable use of this method for simplification of computational tasks, as well as more readily understandable graphics and devices regarding the position, trajectory, and orientation of an object in space.

In some embodiments, a system for alignment of a sailboat mast comprises a mounting bracket configured for attachment to the mast, and one or more lasers pivotally connected to the mounting bracket to enable the one or more lasers to be positioned at an index angle relative to the mast on both sides of the mast.

The spacing apparatus comprises a horizontal front projecting element for placement on the top surface of the flooring panel joined to a vertical upwards projecting element for abutting adjacent to the vertical dry-wall member. The spacing apparatus comprises horizontal and vertical elements at right angles. Projecting vertically downwards from the right angle join between the horizontal and vertical elements is a spacing element having a predetermined thickness for creating a suitable spacing distance between the inward edge of the flooring panel and the bottom of the vertical dry-wall member thereby accommodating a suitable expansion distance for the flooring installation. The apparatus is easily installed and removed by hand by a flooring installer.

When the housing (1) is swung, the hair brush can clean the dust at the air inlet of the housing (1), making the hair dryer both simple and sanitary.

Abstract: An apparatus for fishing includes a fishing rod and a separate base unit onto which the rod can be mounted and readily removed. The rod is generally conventional and includes a reel mounted on a rod body for winding in the fishing line with a spool and a hand cranked rotor for winding the line around the spool. The base unit includes a cylindrical holding sleeve for mounting the rod body and a battery driven electric motor for driving the spool independently of the rotor by a drive shaft extending parallel to the sleeve. An adjustable pressure switch for activating the motor is connected between the holder and the base unit so that pulling force on the line pivots the holder around a pivot mount.

The aperture is sized to allow use of the object upon separation of the cover from the enclosure and the enclosure and cover are sized and shaped to completely house the object upon attachment between the cover and the enclosure.
