Abstract: An article of apparel may include may include a garment portion and at least one protective element. The garment portion and the protective element have a configuration that forms a gap, separation, or pleat structure through, for example, folding or overlapping of a textile element of the garment portion. The gap, separation, or pleat structure may permit the protective element to move independent of other portions of the apparel at the joint, thereby enhancing a range of movement of the individual and the overall comfort of the apparel.

Abstract: The present invention relates to breathable, vented, and insulating cold weather garments. More particularly, the present invention relates to garments with chambers to retain an insulating fill material. Perforations along the seams between the insulating chambers may achieve optimal evaporative moisture transfer from the inside (proximal to the body of a wearer) of the garment to the outside environment.

Abstract: A front-opening hospital gown includes first and second front panels. The first front panel overlaps the second front panel when the gown is worn by a patient. The second front panel has fasteners in multiple columns and rows. The first front panel has mating fasteners, for instance a single column of multiple rows. The number of rows on the front panels may be equal. An additional rear panel(s) defines an elongated slot on the back of the gown for access to the patient's back. The gown may include an anti-microbial coating, colored fabric that indicates the size of the gown, an RFID tag, color-coded intravenous access flaps, and a telemetry pocket. The intravenous access flaps may have color-coded fasteners or backing twill material. The gown may include a collar indicating the front of the gown. The collar may have a contrasting color relative to a color of the panels.

Abstract: An carboxylated nitrile-butadiene rubber latex formulation composed of a blend of a first acrylonitrile terpolymer and a second acrylonitrile terpolymer, wherein: the acrylonitrile content of the blended terpolymers is between 17 and 45% by weight, the methacrylic acid content of the blended termpolymers is less than 15% by weight, and the remaining balance of the terpolymers being butadiene. The invention also includes an elastomeric nitrile rubber article made from the formulation.

Abstract: A sports rally cap, comprising a crown member configured to rotate around its own vertical axis and to rotate around a horizontal axis of a brim. The crown member includes a plurality of sports theme logos. A brim includes on its inner surface a T-head shaped male track means for slidably engaging a compatible inter-locking bracket-shaped female channel track means that is attached to a headband member of a visor. The visor member comprises a bill having at least one logo displayed on its upper surface. The crown is configured to rotate around the head of an individual wearer person, wherefore the visor member being stably positioned on the head of the individual wearer person. The individual wearer person rallies for at least one sports team by rotating the crown until an appropriate logo appears to suit a rally theme.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a slip prevention golf sock, and more particularly, a slip prevention golf sock that has a slip prevention means in the bottom of the sock at a big toe region in the ball of the left or the right foot in which a load is concentrated during a golf swing. The slip prevention means comprises silicon coating in the shape of ring or flower with non-coated region in its center. The slip prevention golf sock prevents slip effectively because the slip is prevented not only by the coating material but also by the structural characteristics of the coating with the big toe region of the ball of the foot being located in the center of the ring or flower shape coating so that a wearer is provided more stability during a golf swing. Furthermore, it provides educational benefit of teaching a beginner a support point in the sole of the foot.

The first pad layer includes an arrangement of structural alterations that affect the performance of the first layer.

Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed for protecting a user's face, neck and/or ears. The protection apparatus includes a pliable draping material coupleable to a helmet. The pliable draping material includes a helmet engaging portion and a protection portion coupled to the helmet engaging portion. The protection portion protects at least one of a user's mouth, neck, and ears. The protection apparatus also includes a coupling element that couples the helmet engaging portion of the draping material to a band. The band is engageable with at least one clip on an outer surface of the helmet to removeably couple the protection apparatus to the helmet.

A fan establishes an air flow through the housing to exhaust gases from the bowl. A filter eliminates the odorous compounds and optionally refreshes the air. The apparatus may be portable so that it can be installed onto and removed from the bowl as desired.

Abstract: The toilet and support bars for the disabled has a toilet bowl and toilet seat configured to face the toilet tank, thereby enabling disabled and physically debilitated persons to move forward to sit on the toilet seat. The toilet has a pedestal on which the tank is mounted, and an inverted U-shaped support bar having legs supported by the building structure, to provide stability for the disabled person to use the toilet. The support bar includes a crossbar handle above the level of the tank that a disabled person may grasp for assistance in moving forward onto the toilet seat and rearward off the toilet seat. The handle may have a resilient grip. The support bar may also include stabilizers for maintaining the support bar in a rigid and fixed position so that the user is assured to find the necessary support.

The first spa cover portion has a first length traverse to the pivot axis, and the second spa cover portion has a second length extending in the same direction as the first length. The first length is longer than the second length. When the cover is moved from a closed configuration into an open configuration, lower surfaces of the first and second spa cover portions, which face the water at the interior of the spa tub when in the closed configuration and can become unsightly, are moved into a position in which they face each other, whereas the upper surface of the second spa cover portion faces the users in the tub. Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide various shower curtain rod designs for providing a shower curtain rod that allows the wet, inner-stall facing side of a shower curtain to be quickly and easily rotated 180-360 degrees. This rotation allows the wet, inner-stall facing side of the shower curtain to be positioned so that it faces out into the room rather than facing the shower stall. This facilitates faster and easier drying of the wet, inner-stall facing side of the shower curtain due to improved airflow and the lower humidity of the room. These features facilitate ease of cleaning and/or inspecting of the shower curtain, while also reducing the opportunity for mold, mildew and bacteria to grow on the curtain as the shower curtain has an improved drying time.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provide various adjustable shower curtain rod designs for providing a shower curtain rod that allows the wet, inner-stall facing side of a shower curtain to be quickly and easily rotated up to 360 degrees. This rotation allows the wet, inner-stall facing side of the shower curtain to be positioned so that it faces out into the room rather than facing the shower stall. This facilitates faster and easier drying of the wet, inner-stall facing side of the shower curtain due to improved airflow and the lower humidity of the room. The subframe includes a head lift, a foot lift, or both a head lift and a foot lift, for adjusting a vertical position of the frame with respect to the subframe. When wheels of the frame mount the head lift, the foot lift, or both, the frame assumes an orientation that is inclined with respect to the subframe. The orientation may be inclined positively, inclined negatively or inclined flat with respect to the subframe. Using the lifts, the bed may assume a zero-gravity inclination, in which the user's heart is at the same level as the user's feet. An actuator and controls may be used to adjust a position of the frame.

There is also disclosed a cleaning arrangement (14, 14) for use with a drive arrangement (12, 112) of a cleaning device (10, 110). The cleaning arrangement has a longitudinal main axis and comprising a support (124) extending along the main axis. The cleaning arrangement further includes a brush part (126) on the support, the brush part extending radially outwardly from the support.
