Publication number: 20130299466Abstract: A simple method is developed in the present invention for fabricating periodic ripple microstructures on the surface of an ITO film by using single-beam femtosecond laser pulses. The periodic ripple microstructures composed of self-organized nanodots can be directly fabricated through the irradiation of the femtosecond laser, without scanning. The ripple spacing of ˜800 nm, ˜400 nm and ˜200 nm observed in the periodic ripple microstructures can be attributed to the interference between the incident light and the scattering light of the femtosecond laser from the surface of the ITO film. In the present invention, the self-organized dots are formed by the constructive interference formed in the surface of the ITO film, where includes higher energy to break the In—O and Sn—O bonds and then form the In—In bonds. Therefore, the dots have higher surface current greater than other disconstructive regions of the ITO film.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 31, 2012Publication date: November 14, 2013Applicant: NATIONAL TSING HUA UNIVERSITYInventors: Jih-perng Leu, Chih-Wei Luo, Chih Wang, Jwo-Huei Jou

The main housing containing electronics is weather-tight, and requires no forced-cooling devices. The controller automatically performs data logging functions, such as counting the number of anchor plates per job or per day that have been properly placed, counting the number of activation events for a tool's life, tracking the number of faults which occur as the tool is being used, and the controller can identify the type of fault that occurs during operation of the tool. The controller also stores energy setting changes in memory.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2013Publication date: November 14, 2013Applicant: OMG, Inc.Inventors: Antonios Challita, John P. Publication number: 20130299489Abstract: The invention relates to a sea container that can be closed on all sides, comprising a base frame, which has four corner posts, a top-side frame, and a bottom-side frame construction, wherein the corner posts are rigidly connected to the top-side frame and to the bottom-side frame construction. The bottom-side frame construction has a bearing frame, wherein installations in the container are fastened to the bearing frame and the bearing frame has tie-down means for tying down and for absorbing forces acting horizontally. Thus the invention makes it possible to accommodate installations such as a deploying device for a trailling antenna in a sea container even though traditional sea containers are unsuitable therefor.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 23, 2012Publication date: November 14, 2013Applicant: ATLAS ELEKTRONIK GmbHInventors: Jens-Heiko Dinter, Uwe Fass

Publication number: 20130299491Abstract: The present invention includes methods for treating a laser-processed material that produces an odor due to the laser processing. The present method includes treating the laser-processed material with heat to dissipate the odor from the material. The method can also include a cooling step after heating of the laser-processed material. Multiple cycles of heating and cooling may also be performed to substantially reduce or eliminate the odor from the laser processed material. The invention also includes an article made according to the method and apparatus for laser processing with the produced article having substantially reduced odor.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2013Publication date: November 14, 2013Inventors: Daniel B. Publication number: 20130299492Abstract: The present invention includes methods for treating laser-processed materials having an odor generated during the laser processing. The present method includes treating the laser-processed materials with heat to dissipate the odor from the material. The laser processed material may be secured to avoid curling during the heating process. The method can also include a cooling step after heating of the laser-processed material. Multiple cycles of heating and cooling may also be performed to substantially reduce or eliminate the odor from the laser-processed material. The invention also includes articles made according to the method and apparatus for producing laser processed materials having substantially reduced odor.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2013Publication date: November 14, 2013Inventors: Daniel B. Publication number: 20130299493Abstract: A self-contained food cleaning and preparation device is provided. The device is a fully enclosed transparent container having a flat bottom and a geometrically domed lid that secures to the bottom via a pair of latches disposed on the side of the lid or bottom. Two armholes covered by a transparent film are disposed on one or more sides of the lid. The film may be perforated for easy opening, or may be solid with cutting indicia disposed thereon. Arms are inserted into the holes through the film to access the interior surface of the container bottom, which is a food preparation surface. Fish may be cleaned on the interior surface without making a mess on an underlying counter.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 7, 2013Publication date: November 14, 2013Inventor: Henry Sconiers

Publication number: 20130299495Abstract: A closure assembly comprises an article (1) forming a tubular neck (2) around a product passage (3) in said article. The neck forms a mouth at a top end of said product passage. The assembly further comprises a rotational cap (20) that is injection moulded of plastic material and that is secured on or to be secured on said neck of the article. The cap seals the product passage in closed position of the cap on said neck, and the cap—for removal of the cap from the neck of the article by a user to open the product passage—is adapted to be manually rotated from the closed position in an opening direction.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 28, 2011Publication date: November 14, 2013Applicant: IPN IP B.V.Inventors: Laurens Last, Peter Jan Van Der Molen, Jeroen Gerrit Anton Gebbink

Publication number: 20130299496Abstract: A can end has a public side and an opposing product side. A circumferential curl is located about a center axis and defines an outer perimeter of the can end. A circumferential wall extends downwardly from the curl. A circumferential, generally U-shaped countersink extends radially inwardly from the circumferential wall relative to the center axis and upwardly. A center panel extends radially inwardly from the countersink relative to the center axis and has a displaceable tear panel defined by frangible score and a hinge segment on the public side and a tab fixed to the public side which has a nose portion overlying a portion of the displaceable tear panel. A circumferential panel joins the countersink with the center panel and has a first panel radius joined to a second panel radius by a short wall extending upwardly and inwardly. The circumferential panel has a bead formed therein.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 14, 2012Publication date: November 14, 2013Applicant: REXAM BEVERAGE CAN COMPANYInventors: Randall G.
