Abstract: A cleaning article specifically adapted for the cleaning of ceiling fans generally and especially the blades thereof is comprised of an elongated dust-attractive sleeve sized and shaped to receive a conventional ceiling fan blade therein and having both interior and exterior surfaces especially adapted for removal and trapping of dust. The sleeve includes an opening through which fan blades are received, and the opening includes means for maintaining the opening in the desired shape to mitigate against prematurely dislodging dust from fan blade surfaces which would otherwise occur if the opening were collapsed during insertion of the sleeve over the blade. Closure means are provided for sealing the open end of the sleeve upon completion of the cleaning task to permanently trap dust inside.

Abstract: A manufacturing method of a lens barrel is disclosed. According to one implementation, the manufacturing method includes the following steps. A first lens holding section protrusion step inserts a first lens holding section from one end of a barrel frame to a hollow section to protrude from the other end. A second lens holding section suction step sucks a convex surface section. A first lens holding section contact step brings the planar surface section into contact with the first lens holding section. A lens holding switching step releases suction of the convex surface section, and the planar surface section is held by the first lens holding section. A barrel frame contact step moves the first lens holding section or the lens barrel so that a surrounding edge section is brought into contact with a lens receiving section.

Abstract: A modular case and method of forming the same, the case preferably formed from a plurality of panels, edge members and corner pieces having ribs. The panels, edge members and corner pieces are preferably connected to align the ribs, forming substantially continuous ribs capable of distributing forces over a large area of the modular case. The case is most preferably made of plastic, the connections preferably being hot-plate welds. Most preferably, the panels and edge members have a dual skin construction with internal ribs, proving for greater strength and allowing for superior structural properties including air-/water-tight integrity. Edge members are preferably formed with protuberances to allow for better base-to-lid and case-to-case engagement. Hardware attachments to the modular case can be advantageously made while distributing the force on attachment points and without compromising structural integrity.
