This new primocane fruiting cultivar can be distinguished by its high yields of large, very bright-red-colored, sweet, flavorful fruit with excellent fresh fruit quality borne on primocanes in late summer.

A probe (15) optically connected to the spectrometer (4) and includes an optical pathway (7) for transmission of a radiation from the radiation source (5) and at least a second optical pathway for transmission of a characteristic radiation from a sample to the detector (6). A positioner is provided to position the probe (15) near a side surface (11) of the borehole (3) and to optically couple the optical pathways (7) to the side surface (11), wherein the probe (15) is traversable up and down the well (1) by way of a guide operatively connected to the probe (15) and to a fixed location at the wellhead. By use of the apparatus and method a concentration of methane or other substance of interest is obtained, and thereby, a potential production of a coal bed methane formation is obtained.

Abstract: This invention relates to a karaoke CD format and a device for controlling audio signals utilizing the karaoke CD format which provides a user with selective reproduction of the voice of a player. The karaoke CD format includes a CD format divided into video sectors and audio sectors. The audio sectors are further divided into a part for recording accompaniment sound and playing sound at the same time and a part for recording accompaniment sound only. There is provided record coding information for distinguishing the parts.

Abstract: Apparatus, and an associated method, for facilitating notification of a user of a mobile station of a commercially-related transaction associated with the user. When a commercially-related transaction is effectuated, a report or other message indicative thereof, is generated and routed to a message generating center, such as a short message service center. Upon detection of the report, or other message, delivered thereto, a radio communication system message generator generates, and sends, a message to the mobile station. Apparatus at the mobile station detects delivery of the message thereto. And, a notifier notifies the user of the mobile station of indicia associated with the report of the occurrence of the commercially-related transaction.

Abstract: An enhanced communication and voicemail solution for mobile phones is described where still images and/or video clips are injected into the voice stream creating a “video-voice” call. When a receiving party is not available to take a video-voice call, this combined stream of voice and image information is stored at the mobile service provider in a manner similar to voice mail today. Then, stored video-voicemails may be retrieved at a later time by the receiving party. Also, realtime video-voice conversations may be recorded for later retrieval in order to document the conversation or because a party in the conversation is not able to view the images realtime. While the sending party may use a normal size mobile phone containing a miniature digital camera, the receiving party may view video-voicemail images on a variety of devices including a wireless mobile phone or PDA, or alternately a conventional PC connected to the World Wide Web.

Abstract: A novel tandem garment allows a motorcycle rider and passenger to relax from wind turbulence and cold and which further provides protection from the possible harmful effects of carbon monoxide from the internal combustion engine, including carbon monoxide poisoning. In one aspect, the novel two-person tandem garment includes zippers and hook and loop fastener strips used to secure the garment in high winds and/or high vehicle velocity. The break-away hook and loop is an important safety feature in the event of an accident. It has been found that the zippers and hook and loop fastener strips used to secure the garment protect the driver and passenger from exposure to carbon monoxide.

Abstract: A collapsible hat comprises a front portion, at least one band portion extending from the front portion, at least one first top portion extending from the at least one band portion, and a plurality of second top portions extending from the at least one band portion. The first top portions include a connector and the second top portions include a slot, and the connector of the first top portions are configured to extend through the slots of the second top portions.

Abstract: A support belt for use with body armor is disclosed. The support belt has a central member that includes two oppositely disposed side members and at least one horizontal strap that has a vertical receiving channel. There are at least two support straps configured to releasably interlock with the vertical receiving channel and a plurality of straps secured to an outer surface of the body armor to form a support trough that transfers at least a portion of the weight of the body armor to the waist of the wearer. There is a closure device to secure the side members to each other to secure the belt substantially around the wearer's waist.

The visor locking assembly is attached to said shell and is used to mount the visor in a manner that allows the visor to be locked in a desired position. The visor locking assembly is configured to prevent the visor from being moved from a fully lowered position to a raised position unless the visor is displaced laterally forward away from the face of the wearer of the helmet. The locking assembly further comprises a body and a rotatable hub, wherein the body comprises a cavity, and wherein the cavity further comprises a protrusion on the wall of the cavity, and wherein the rotatable hub comprises a recess formed along the circumference of the hub. The hub is positioned to rotate within the cavity, and the hub is prevented from rotational movement when the protrusion is positioned within (engaged with) the recess. When the hub is displaced laterally within the cavity away from the protrusion, the hub becomes rotatable.

Each bowl (basin) has one drain hole for drainage of liquid and has top surface, a bottom surface and a pair of strips of ferrous metal attached to the bottom surface of the basin. The divider plate has an upper edge and a lower edge and a channel inside the lower edge, a permanent magnet in said channel for providing magnetic attraction between the divider plate and the strips of ferrous metal at the bottom surface of said basin and for maintaining the divider plate in position in said sink.

Abstract: A three-position, circularly-shaped, height-adjustable overflow drain is disclosed. A circular back plate includes a bottom half opposite a top half, and is configured to be attachable to an overflow elbow. A first aperture is located in the bottom half of the back plate. A second aperture is located in the top half of the back plate. A rotatable handle comprises an outer cylindrical portion including a center plate. A third aperture is located in the center plate. The first, second and third apertures are aligned along a common radius, wherein the rotatable handle is rotatable to align either the first and third apertures, the second and third apertures, or no apertures. A cover plate is disposed within the rotatable handle and attached to the circular back plate forming an annular gap between the cover plate and the outer cylindrical portion.

In at least one embodiment, the system includes a vertical arm that is arranged in a vertical cabinet, which vertical arm is connected to an arm that is pivotal in a horizontal plane arranged in a horizontal overhead cabinet, the arms being adjustable from an inactive and secured position arranged in the cabinets to an active position arranged outside the cabinets. The horizontal overhead cabinet is connected to the arm that is pivotal in a horizontal plane, and follows the movement of the arm from an inactive and secured position to an active position. A drive unit is further connected to the arm that is pivotal in a horizontal plane, which drive unit via at least a wire or the like is connected to a removable lifting bar. In an inactive and secured position of the system for handling and moving bedridden patients or mobility impaired persons, the horizontal overhead cabinet will house the arm.

Abstract: A cushioning device has two materials that are sealed together at their peripheral edges to form first and second sides and first and second ends. Positioned between the first and second materials is a middle material. The middle material has the top and bottom sides, a gap between the first side and the middle material and another gap between the second side and the middle material. In addition, the first material is sealed to the middle material's top side by a first set of interior welds. The second surface is sealed to the middle material's bottom surface by a second set of interior welds. The first set of welds on the middle material's top surface and the second set of welds on the middle material's bottom surface are not superimposed on each other or overlap each other.

Abstract: A modular ramp system contemplates two molded plastic ramps placed back-to-back so that one would travel up one ramp and then down the other. The ramps are interconnected by a spine. The spine connectors are dovetail recesses and projections. The ramps have connections on their sides, so other ramps may be assembled to the two ramps to make a wider ramp. The ramp can have a plurality of ramp sections assembled together to create a ramp. A table is designed to be used with ramps and other components and includes openings facilitating installation of a grind rail or a support rail. The table surface includes a peripheral coping. A grind rail includes legs with arcuate bottoms to facilitate support of a grind rail regardless of angulation. Curved sections of grind rails allow lateral and vertical curvature of a grind rail configuration. Connectors are provided to interconnect adjacent grind rail sections.

Abstract: A ramp assembly provides a transition surface from a vehicle interior to an alighting surface. The ramp assembly includes a ramp portion that rotates between a stowed position and a deployed position. The ramp portion is rotatable about an axis associated with a first end of the ramp portion. A support member supports the first end of the ramp portion, and a sensor is configured to sense a predetermined position of the ramp portion. The ramp assembly further includes an actuator operably coupled to the ramp portion to drive the ramp portion through a first phase and a second phase of a deployment motion. During the first phase, the actuator rotates the ramp portion about the axis while the axis maintains a substantially fixed position. During the second phase, the actuator moves the axis in a downward direction if the ramp portion has deployed to at least the predetermined position.

The wheel attachment member, is attached to a wheel of the trolley by inserting screws through screw apertures located on its radially extending arms. The screws are screwed into spoke attachment clips, each including a notch which cradles a spoke. A golfer touches his golf club head to the brush and pulls the golf trolley, causing the brush to rotate, and cleaning the golf club. The golfer may touch cleats of golf shoes to the invention, thereby cleaning away dirt.

A drive assembly comprises a first cam surface, a second cam surface and a second gear. The first cam surface engages a first follower where the first follower is operatively connected to the output such that linear movement of the first cam follower results in linear movement of the output. The second cam surface engages a stationary follower. The second gear engages the first gear. The drive assembly rotates over a range of motion such that for a first portion of the range of motion the drive assembly causes the rotational and linear movement of the output and rotation of the drive assembly for a second portion of the range of motion causes only the rotational movement of the output.
