Abstract: A new and distinct variety of rose plant is provided which forms in abundance on a substantially continuous basis attractive double blossoms that are white when mature. The vegetation is vigorous and strong. The growth habit is upright and bushy with long canes that can be trained to climb. Attractive ornamental dark green foliage with a matte finish is formed. During observations to date the disease resistance has been found to be excellent, particularly with respect to Black Spot, Mildew, and Rust. The new variety is particularly well suited for growing as distinctive ornamentation in parks, gardens, and residential settings.

Abstract: A new and distinct variety of Grandiflora rose plant is provided that abundantly and substantially continuously forms attractive very double strongly fragrant light orange suffused with light red blossoms that well drop petals upon full maturity. The vegetation is strong. A vigorous bushy growth habit is displayed. The disease resistance is very good, particularly with respect to Botrytis. The plant is well suited for providing distinctive attractive ornamentation in the landscape.

Abstract: Description and specifications of a new and distinct blackberry which originates from seed produced by a hand pollinated cross of two, non-patented varieties; ‘Obsidian’ as the female and ‘Eaton’ as the male. This new, trailing cultivar can be distinguished by it's consistant, large fruit size and appearance during the early spring and summer period for the fresh market. The fruit of this cultivar is produced on red, strong, thorny canes. When plants are grown and pruned correctly, yield in Central California, USA can be up to 4,500 crates/ac if the fruit is handled and shipped correctly.

Abstract: A new and distinct Hydrangea serrata plant is provided that was discovered as a newly found seedling in a cultivated area. Attractive large blue to mauve lacecap flowers are formed that tend to be more blue when grown in acidic soils and more mauve when grown in neutral to basic soils. Strong sturdy branches are formed. Delicate yellow-green foliage is displayed. The plant is more floriferous than the ‘Blue Billow’ cultivar (non-patented in the United States) and the foliage is smaller than that of such comparative cultivar. Winter hardiness to U.S.D.A. Zone No. 6b has been observed. The plant is well suited for providing attractive ornamentation in the landscape. The cut flowers also can be included in cut flower arrangements.

Abstract: A cross-layer architecture for a network device having a number of network interfaces is provided. Each of the network interfaces implements a number of low level layers of a protocol stack and includes an associated network based cross-layer agent. The network device also includes an application based cross-layer agent associated with one or more high level protocol stack layers including an application layer. When the application layer desires to form a network connection to another network device, an arbitration agent operates to identify one of the network interfaces for the network connection. The arbitration agent then effects interconnection of the application based cross-layer agent and the network based cross-layer agent of the network interface and interconnection of the high level protocol stack layers and the low level protocol stack layers of the network interface, thereby forming a complete protocol stack having a cross-layer architecture for the network connection.

Preferably, the molar ratio Ce/Zr is within a range from 3/7 to 7/3 and the isoelectric point is within a range from 3.8 to 5.0, and the cerium-zirconium composite metal oxide contains a rare earth metal (excluding Ce) in a concentration of less than 15% by mole based on the total mole number of metal in the composite metal oxide. Also the present invention provides a cerium-zirconium composite metal oxide, characterized in that CeO2 forms a core surrounded by ZrO2.

Abstract: A proximal femoral prosthesis minimizes impingement, thereby affording an enhanced range of motion as compared to existing devices. The central portion of the neck of a prosthesis according to the invention is oriented distally relative to a straight line drawn between the ball portion and a point of interconnection to the exposed portion of the stem. Such a configuration reduces impingement in flexion/internal rotation and extension/external rotation, assuming an appropriately placed acetabular component. In the preferred embodiment, the neck is curved between the head and the neck. In alternative embodiments, the neck may be provided in straight and/or modular segments. The invention is compatible with neck-shaft angles, offsets, head sizes, and other dimensions commonly designated with respect to available implants.

The logic circuit performs operational functions (e.g., processing) or tasks that have different performance requirements. In some examples, the showerhead may include an inlet configured to direct the fluid toward the reflective surface as it enters the cavity. These moveable panels are connected to each other by a plurality of pivotally joined horizontal rods, which enables the moveable panels to move as a group. Often one of the moveable panels is joined to the upper and lower channel by clamp-on hinges, so that this panel is only able to move by pivoting. The moveable panels are able to move between an open door configuration and a closed door configuration, and can be designed with slight overlap so as to prevent shower spray from going beyond the panels.

A stitch down the middle is preferably made after the first fold, and then the blanket is stitched around its four sides after the second fold.

When there is a person seated on the seating surface, the weight of the person compresses the compressible material (16) so as to partially deflate the self inflating cushion bladder (14) which results in the contained air passing into the displacement bladder (18) which becomes fully inflated.
