Abstract: The present invention provides a neck strap having a magnetic receptacle to which either a pre-tied bow tie or pre-tied tie is engagably and magnetically attachable. Two types of neck straps are disclosed. A first embodiment neck strap is a conventional elasticized cloth strap, adjustable in length, having clasp-together, hook and eye opposite ends and having a button magnetic receptacle secured to a middle portion thereof. The second embodiment neck strap is a cloth strap having a first end to which a pair of spaced-apart neodymium magnets are sewn or bonded. The opposite end has a series of equally-spaced ferromagnetic discs which are sewn or bonded thereto. The ferromagnetic discs are attracted to the neodymium magnets, thereby holding the ends of the strap together. A bow tie or dress tie has a plug that magnetically secures itself to the magnetic receptacle.

The headwear may comprise water-repellant material to repel water from the user's head for use in inclement weather or in personal bathing. The deflector body comprises a length of flexible material with surfaces that are water resistant and taper from an attachment surface to a lower drip edge. When installed, the deflector body is curved to follow the curvature of the rim of toilet bowl and the deflector surface is also preferably concave in vertical cross-section. The attachment surface may comprise a self-adhesive strip. The deflector is low cost, easy to install, and unobtrusive when installed. A flexible universal design may be adapted readily for retrofit installation on standard toilet seats.

The top layer is made from microfiber bed sheet material. The bottom layer is made from microfiber terry, preferably non-oiled, the top of which is laminated with liquid-impermeable material. The top layer and interior portion are quilted together and glued to the bottom layer. When the pad is laid on a bed sheet made of microfiber bed sheet material extending horizontally, the pad resists horizontal movement relative to the bed sheet. Thus, seat embodiments can be configured in at least three distinct ways.
