Abstract: A bullet resistant garment is provided for in the current invention having a pliable protective insert contained within a concealed carrier shell that is integrated into an outer-garment. In certain embodiments, interconnecting seams and or darts may be incorporated into the pliable protective insert and/or carrier shell to provide a comfortable and protective three-dimensional shape to bullet resistant garment, especially for women.

Abstract: An eye cover particularly adapted to hold a slice of fruit or other treatment against the eyelid and face during a health and beauty treatment. The device comprises an adjustable headband that secures a pair eyepieces over the eye sockets. The eyepieces are connected over the center of the face at a bridge. Variations of the device include a rim to hold the fruit on and a rim-less design. Optional graphics are provided to customize the look of the device.

Abstract: A garment or other article of clothing can be configured with a three point fastener system or assembly. The garment can be a brassiere, ladies swimsuit or swimsuit top, dress, or any other garment designed to be worn about the torso. The garment can include a front portion having a left side and a right side connected by a back portion. The left and right sides of the front portion can be selectively connected by a first fastener. Second and third fasteners can also connect shoulder straps between the front portion and the back portion. Each of the fasteners can be configured for simple release, including a one touch, single motion, or other simple mechanism for uncoupling elements of the fastener.

Abstract: A load-bearing garment, such as a vest, is provided having stretchable web platform on an outside surface, such as between front and back panels of the vest. The stretchable web platform includes stretchable bands that extend horizontally, and vertical webbing extending between multiple horizontal bands. Additional embodiments are directed to a mounting system in a plate carrier for a plate. Still further embodiments are directed to a handle and strap system for a vest or other garment that permits a quick rescue of a person wearing the vest.

Abstract: A surgical glove is made using a mould having a set of digits, consisting of thumb and index, middle, ring and little fingers that are disposed in positions consistent with that of a human hand when holding a surgical implement. In one embodiment, the digits include at least one major bend. In another embodiment, each of the digits includes two bends. By adopting a shape for the surgical glove that mimics the position of the surgeon's hand while holding a surgical implement, finger stress and hand fatigue during a prolonged surgical procedure can be significantly reduced.

The side panels cooperate with the front and back panels by connections protruding from the panels. The mask can be stored or shipped in a flat two-dimensional, unassembled mode and can be opened or assembled to a three-dimensional form, which may be worn on the head of a user.

Abstract: The present invention relates to pair of trousers. The trousers include an inseam panel that is continuous across the crotch and down the inside longitudinal lines of the legs, preventing the need for an actual seam on the inseam of the trousers. The inseam panel is connected to the other fabric of the trousers with seams that are disposed away from the traditional inseam location and away from the crotch area. The inseam panel increases in width from the knees to the crotch. The inseam panel is also a stretch fabric with a primary stretch direction oriented on a bias to the longitudinal direction of the inseam panel and legs of the trousers.

The garment support apparatus has a pliable closed end, and pliable first and second extending sections attached to the closed end and spaced apart from one another. The space between the first and second extending sections is sized to receive a garment waist band. The first extending section has an opening sized for receiving a belt-loop. The second extending section has a first side and an opposite, second side. Friction material is on the first and second sides of the second extending section for frictional contact with an interior portion of the waist band and for frictional contact with a shirt jersey worn by a wearer.

Abstract: A football helmet having a shell, and having a chin protector with chin cup and chin straps, has dual snaps on its chin strap buckles and dual snaps on each side of the helmet shell for improving the snap connection between the chin straps and the helmet to reduce the chances the helmet wearer will loose the helmet during play. Dual snaps on the sides of the helmet are carried on pivoting snap carriers to allow the chin protector to rotate with respect to the helmet shell.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for maintaining a temperature of water for a safety shower within a desired range using geothermal energy. A conduit containing at least 150 liters of water can be fluidly coupled to a safety shower through which at least a portion of the water can exit. The conduit can be disposed under ground soil at a depth such that the water buffer is maintained at a temperature of between 15 C. to 40 C. as a direct function of a thermal inertia of the ground soil.

Abstract: A pedicure spa having a self-cleaning retractable basin provides a consistently cleaned and sanitized basin for use during a pedicure treatment. A cleansing chamber in the pedicure spa accepts the basin for a self-cleaning procedure. The blower module comprises an electrical connector which connects to an electrical connector on the connector unit to allow modular replacement of the blower module. Connection to the mains water supply is via the same or an additional connector unit plumbed into the water mains. An inlet port of the valve is connected to the water mains and an outlet port of the valve is connected to the water outlet.

The registration plates allow for medical staff to align the system so that it straddles the operating table with the attachment mechanisms of the COG assembly in alignment with platen tubes (or other complimentary attachment mechanisms) located at the distal ends of the anterior platen.

These indigo-dyed fabrics are prepared from cotton warp yarn which has been pre-treated with an emulsion copolymer prior to being contacted with an aqueous dye liquor comprising a dispersion of an indigo dyestuff. Such copolymer-treated cotton warp yarn can be woven or knitted into cotton denim griege fabrics along with untreated cotton weft yarn. Such griege denim fabric can then be indigo-dyed using the aqueous dye liquor. Alternatively, the emulsion copolymer-treated cotton warp yarn can be indigo-dyed by contact with the aqueous dye liquor before this warp yarn is incorporated into denim fabric along with the untreated cotton weft yarn. The cotton denim fabric produced by either method has the appearance of conventional ring-dyed indigo fabrics.

Abstract: A cleaning composition for sanitizing and/or disinfecting hard surfaces, comprising: a cationic biocide, surfactant and low levels of VOC solvents. The cleaning composition contains less than 5% by weight of VOCs. Abstract: An absorbent berm mop assembly to contain a liquid spill is provided. The absorbent berm comprises an absorbent material packed within a tube sock of variable length and diameter comprising a berm. Prior to closing of the ends of the berm, a rigid plate is inserted atop the absorbent. The rigid berm is fixed to a handle bracket. Operation of the handle effects a flattening of the berm via force applied to the handle being distributed along the length of the rigid plate. The berm is used to contain spills on a floor by presenting a planar absorbent surface to absorb liquid that can be moved in a mopping motion. The saturated berm assembly can be disposed of for appropriate disposal after detaching from the handle. The advantage to this design is the ability to maximize the active absorbance capacity of a given volume of absorbent material by flattening the berm surface to the floor plane, as well as by mopping motion, while allowing for easy disposal of all but the handle.
