Abstract: The invention relates to A pliers (1) having two pliers limbs (2, 3) which are connected so as to be pivotable relative to one another in a box joint having a joint pin (4), a working region (7, 8) being formed on one pliers limb (2, 3) on the one side of the joint and a gripping region (9, 10) being formed on the other side of the joint, and a passed-through pliers limb (3) being formed with a push-through slot (11) which has a slot width (s) in the joint region and through which the other through-passing pliers limb (2) extends, the working regions of the pliers limbs (2, 3) moreover having, at least in part, a width (b) that is greater than the slot width (s), and the working regions (7, 8) designed in the form of jaws or cutting edges pivoting toward a shared central plane (E). In order to improve the pliers with regard to high performance while optimizing manufacturability, it is proposed that the joint pin (4) be laterally offset with respect to the central plane (E).

Abstract: An impact ratchet wrench includes a motor assembly, a transmission assembly, an impact assembly and a ratchet assembly which are arranged in a housing and connected with each other in turn. The motor assembly drives the transmission assembly and the transmission assembly includes a cylindrical gear train for providing an output at a first rotating speed or a second rotating speed lower than the first rotating speed. The impact assembly includes a striking member that is driven by the transmission assembly and an output member. The striking member of the impact assembly provides an increasing torque to the output member intermittently to drive the ratchet assembly.

Abstract: A method for separating a pipe comprising a pipe axis, a pipe wall, a pipe interior, an inside pipe circumference, an upper end to be separated, and a lower end, the pipe being anchored in the ground by the lower end, includes providing a cutting assembly comprising at least one water jet nozzle which produces a water jet. The cutting assembly is lowered into the pipe interior through the upper end to be separated down to a separation zone. The pipe is cut with the cutting assembly. The cutting assembly acts progressively against the inside pipe circumference. The water jet, when activated, produces a cut comprising a substantially constant cut width and two complementary conical cut surfaces. The water jet is directed at an angle (?) to a plane which runs perpendicular to the pipe axis so that the cut runs diagonally through the pipe wall.

Abstract: A machine for accurately cutting tiles, blocks of concrete, clay, blocks of stone and stone materials, wood and wooden materials is described. It may include a support stand which at its top supports a removable bed structure. The bed includes a motor-driven cutting disc recessed-mounted axially along pillow blocks such that a substantial portion of the cutting disc is projected above the bed surface and its mode of rotation is about a fixed centralized axis. Trolley track rails situated on distal ends of both long sides of the bed allow for lateral movement of the trolley above the bed surface to facilitate the cutting operation. During operation the object secured safely on the trolley which is manually moved towards the cutting disc while a perforated shower head sprays water onto the work piece. Water is filtered and recycled back to the shower via the bin situated below the cutting disc and thence to the recycle and filter unit.
