Abstract: A thin heat pipe structure and a manufacturing method thereof. The thin heat pipe structure includes a tubular body and a mesh body. The tubular body has a chamber and a working fluid. At least one first channel and at least one second channel are formed on an inner wall face of the chamber. The first and second channels extend to intersect each other. The mesh body is attached to the inner wall face of the chamber. The thin heat pipe structure is able to transfer heat in both axial direction and radial direction. By means of the manufacturing method, the heat pipe can be slimmed and the ratio of good products can be greatly increased.

Abstract: A vapor chamber and a method of manufacturing same are disclosed. The vapor chamber includes a main body internally defining a chamber. The chamber internally has a plurality of flow guides and contains a working fluid; and at least one flow passage is formed between any two adjacent flow guides, such that the flow guides and the flow passages together define a flow guiding zone in the main body. The flow guiding zone has two opposite ends respectively connecting with a first convection zone and a second convection zone, such that the flow passages and the first and second convection zones communicate with one another. With the main body and the internal flow passages for a vapor chamber being integrally formed by aluminum extrusion, the time, labor and material costs for the vapor chamber can be largely reduced.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for assembly of a planetary gear drive, wherein the gear drive includes a ring gear, a sun gear, and a plurality of planet gears engaged with the ring gear and sun gear. The method includes mounting the planet gears within a carrier, with the planet gears freely rotatable relative to the carrier. A gear alignment tool is inserted through a bore in a front face of the carrier and is used to index the planet gears into an aligned rotational position for proper subsequent engagement with the ring gear and sun gear.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention relates to a roller changing apparatus for changing a roller from a multiplicity of rollers in a furnace for the thermal treatment of components, wherein the roller changing apparatus has a housing which can be closed off and in which a first protective gas atmosphere can be formed, and a roller handling device which is arranged at least partially in the housing, and which is designed to remove the roller to be exchanged from the furnace and to fit a replacement roller in the furnace while maintaining a high temperature and a second protective gas atmosphere in the furnace during the roller change.

A handle axis and a housing axis may form an acute angle located at least in part between a front side of the handle and a top side of the drive housing. Abstract: A dryer lint trap has one opening operable to receive exhaust from a dryer and another opening to discharge the relatively lint free air flow into a high-rise building exhaust stack. The lint trap can remove lint with a water bath onto which dryer exhaust flows therein. The lint trap is totally sealed and the relatively lint free exhaust air is discharged into building exhaust stack by a duct that may have an in-line exhaust fan and connects to the discharge side of a bathroom exhaust fan. The in-line exhaust fan along with the bathroom exhaust fan and the dryer may be interlocked to affect simultaneous start and stop. In addition, the in-line exhaust fan works synergistically with the bathroom fan and the on-roof exhaust fan to efficiently discharge exhaust air into the atmosphere. This arrangement assures that no exhaust air is released into the living space and precludes mold generation.

When gas introduced into the dehumidifying apparatus from the drum passes through the jet, foreign substances such as lint, contained in the gas may be separated, thereby preventing accumulation of the foreign substances on the dehumidifying apparatus.

There is also an adhesive backing layer on the coplanar bottom surfaces so that the adhesive backing layer bridges and bonds coplanar bottom surfaces to form unified pre-bonded thermoplastic signage thereby preventing dislodging or separation of the signage during handling, movement, and/or transportation before or during application of the pre-bonded signage. The articles when properly sequenced, matched, and combined, together makeup the sections such that when the sections are also sequenced and matched the sections combine to form thermoplastic signage with a final pattern wherein the planar top surfaces include sequential features necessary to visibly aid in quick assembly of one or more unified thermoplastic signages.

Abstract: A device, system and method are configured to attach a printed display and a flag therewith to a fence, rail and the like. The disclosure includes a flat stock substrate defining a point of insertion for a free-end of a mast of the flag. Two cutout arms form an I beam cross-section with the substrate and extend backward from the substrate by twisting and hang perpendicularly on a top rail or a side of the fence, the cutout arms each configured at an elbow thereof to wrap around a portion of the fence and down over a side thereof. Two cutout legs extend backward from the substrate by twisting in an upward arc perpendicular to to the fence rail and join with the mast through an end of each leg triangulated between the extended cutout arms. Multiple substrates and printed displays may be ganged on a single mast.

Abstract: A road sign, for viewing by primary traffic and right-angled traffic comprises a sign plate having a first indicia representative of the sign's message directed to the primary traffic and a lateral member having a second indicia. In a preferred embodiment, the lateral member has suitable dimensions, is suitably positioned relative to the sign plate and has suitable second indicia so as to give the appearance, when viewed by right-angled traffic, that a portion of the sign plate was bent substantially perpendicular to the sign's normal orientation along substantially the vertical axis of the sign. Additional embodiments are also provided.

Abstract: A matched muzzle brake and weight system mountable on a firearm barrel is disclosed. In certain embodiments, the muzzle brake and weight are configured to have the same predetermined weight and center of gravity so that the point of aim of the firearm remains substantially unchanged when a user deploys either the muzzle brake or weight. The system permits convenient interchangeability between the muzzle brake and weight without the need for re-sighting the firearm thereby maintaining accuracy. In some embodiments, the centers of gravity of the muzzle brake and weight are located at the same position with respect to a common reference point defined by the barrel. A method for using the system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A magazine lock for a firearm includes a magazine well and a magazine latch. The lock includes a tube nut positioned within a housing. The tube nut is connected to the magazine latch of the firearm. When tightened down, the tube nut prevents the magazine latch from releasing a magazine from the magazine well. A tool is provided to engage the tube nut and rotate the tube nut within the housing permitting the magazine latch to release the magazine. The housing includes a biased engagement feature that selectively prevents the rotation of the tube nut within the housing. The tool is configured to overcome the biased engagement feature and to engage the tube nut so that rotation of the tool rotates the tube nut. A breech block inserted into the top of a magazine inserted into the firearm may also be used to lock the firearm.

A magazine securing lever is disposed on the trigger body. The trigger body has a feed ramp positioned at a slant at a ramp angle relative to a barrel of the firearm. The feed ramp is adapted to lift during reloading of the firearm a projectile tip of a cartridge from a removable cartridge magazine inserted into the magazine receptacle and to guide the cartridge in a direction of a cartridge chamber disposed in the barrel.

Abstract: This invention relates to a handgun comprising a weapon frame with a grip and a break-barrel unit (11) that can be tilted forward and that is comprised of at least two barrels. A firearm as per the invention provides for a bifunctional or multifunctional hammer unit, comprising at least two hammers (19) that can be moved independently of one another when the firearm is triggered; each hammer impacts only one firing pin (28) in each case of a firing-pin unit (27) comprising at least two firing pins (28, 29) in separated positions, wherein each firing pin is assigned to one barrel of the firearm in each case. A double-barrel or multi-barrel firearm is provided in a compact design in which the hammer unit is cocked with a relatively high amount of spring force with a relatively small amount of existing space. In addition, this invention provides a firearm that has less trigger weight.

Abstract: A firearm with slide takedown mechanism and method for use is disclosed. In one embodiment, the firearm includes a frame, barrel, trigger and a reciprocating slide. A takedown lever is pivotably mounted to the firearm and engageable with the slide. In a first blocking position, the takedown lever engages and blocks the rearward path of the slide which is not movable beyond a first position. In a second unblocking position, the takedown lever is pivoted laterally outwards from the frame and disengages the slide. The rearward path of the slide is no longer blocked which may be moved to a second rearward removal position enabling a user to remove the slide and field strip the firearm. In one embodiment, the takedown lever is disposed underneath the frame. The firearm may be a semi-automatic pistol in some embodiments.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a recoil reducer for a firearm. The recoil reducer includes a means to reduce the energy transmitted from the firearm via the use of a soft viscoelastic gel, which is surrounded by means to further reduce the energy transmitted, above that provided solely by the characteristics of the gel, while at the same time holding the soft gel in place and assisting it to return to its pre-distortion state.

Abstract: Firearms with barrel cinching clamps have a receiver having a forward portion defining an internally threaded bore, a barrel having a threaded end removably received in the bore, at least a selected portion of the forward portion being split by a gap, the selected portion having connection elements on opposite sides of the gap, and an adjustable element connected to the connection elements and operable to narrow the gap to secure the barrel in the bore and to widen the gap to permit the barrel to be readily unscrewed from the bore. The bore may define a bore axis, and the gap may be parallel to the bore axis. A circumferentially complete portion of the threaded bore including a plurality of threads adjacent to the gap may be unbroken by a gap. The circumferentially complete portion of the threaded bore may be forward and/or rearward of the selected portion.

In some examples, the channel is defined within the slide of a semi automatic handgun. The sight includes a base that fits within the channel, and a visual index portion extending outward from the base. A removable firearm component blocks an open end of the channel, thereby retaining the sight, when the removable firearm component is installed on the firearm. In some examples, a rear sight may be secured within a channel defined within a slide by a firing pin stop. In other examples, a front sight may be secured within a channel defined within a slide by a barrel bushing. Some examples of the sight may include an adjustment mechanism for moving the visual index portion with respect to the base.

Abstract: An optical apparatus includes an optical sensor configured to capture a digital image of an animal within a view area, a processor coupled to the optical sensor, and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory is configured to store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to determine a distance to the animal, determine edges of the animal, and calculate measurements of selected portions of the animal in response to determining the edges and the distance. The memory further stores instructions that, when executed, cause processor to automatically calculate a prey score for the animal in response to calculating the measurements.

Abstract: A fishing tackle box includes interchangeable inserts for holding sections of a fishing rod. Each interchangeable insert is releasably held within an associated retaining channel of a body of the tackle box by snap-fit engagement. Each interchangeable insert includes a plurality of apertures and cylindrical channels to hold differently-sized cross-sections of fishing rod segments through snap-fit engagement. Multiple, differently sized interchangeable inserts are held in a spaced orientation by the tackle box body, thus accommodating the longitudinal tapering of the segments of the fishing rod. Through the use of interchangeable inserts, the same fishing tackle box may be releasably secured to a variety of differently sized fishing rods by selecting appropriately sized interchangeable inserts dimensioned to match the particular fishing rod to be releasably held by the tackle box.
