The gas oven includes an ON/OFF valve to open/close the gas supplying passage, and a flow rate modulating valve connected to the ON/OFF valve in series so as to change the cross-sectional area of a passage, thereby supplying a proper amount of gas to a cooking cavity in response to the change of a cooking area. When a cooking cavity is divided into individual cooking cavities while a divider is mounted, the flow rate modulating valve is open/closed at a smaller opening degree than the maximum operating degree, and thus may be able to prevent a cooking substance from being carbonized in the individual cooking cavities.

Abstract: Provided a LNG ship that is manufactured in a short construction period by assembling a LNG tank on land and mounting the LNG tank in a hold of the ship. A cold insulator and a membrane are affixed on an inner side of a prismatic tank to fabricate a LNG tank, which is mounted in a hold having a double hull structure. In order to prevent the prismatic tank from deforming at the time of the mounting, strength members are welded to an outer surface of the prismatic tank before a thermal insulation work for the purpose of sufficient reinforcement. After the tank is mounted in the hold, the strength members of the prismatic tank are coupled to the inner hull of the ship to integrate the LNG tank and the hull, so that the weight of a liquid cargo is supported by the prismatic tank and the hull together.

Abstract: The present invention discloses methods to create higher quality group III-nitride wafers that then generate improvements in the crystalline properties of ingots produced by ammonothermal growth from an initial defective seed. By obtaining future seeds from carefully chosen regions of an ingot produced on a bowed seed crystal, future ingot crystalline properties can be improved. Specifically the future seeds are optimized if chosen from an area of relieved stress, on a cracked ingot or from a carefully chosen N-polar compressed area. When the seeds are sliced out, miscut of 3-10° helps to itnprove structural quality of successive growth. Additionally a method is proposed to improve crystal quality by using the ammonothermal method to produce a series of ingots, each using a specifically oriented seed from the previous ingot. When employed, these methods enhance the quality of Group III nitride wafers and thus improve the efficiency of any subsequent device.

Abstract: A method for forming a topological insulator structure is provided. A strontium titanate substrate having a surface (111) is used. The surface (111) of the strontium titanate substrate is cleaned by heat-treating the strontium titanate substrate in the molecular beam epitaxy chamber. The strontium titanate substrate is heated and Bi beam, Sb beam, Cr beam, and Te beam are formed in the molecular beam epitaxy chamber in a controlled ratio achieved by controlling flow rates of the Bi beam, Sb beam, Cr beam, and Te beam. The magnetically doped topological insulator quantum well film is formed on the surface (111) of the strontium titanate substrate. The amount of the hole type charge carriers introduced by the doping with Cr is substantially equal to the amount of the electron type charge carriers introduced by the doping with Bi.
