Abstract: A flexible face mask is provided for protecting the face from outdoor elements. The face mask comprises a nose shield portion that conforms to a user's nose, a lip shield portion to cover the user's upper, a pair of cheek shield portions to cover the sides of the user's face, a pair of ear strap portions to cover and receive the user's ears and eyewear, and a nostril cover portion to cover the nostrils. A reinforcing strip on the skin-facing side of the nose shield provides greater conformance to the user's nose. The face mask is configured for attachment to both eyeglasses and goggles. The bottom of the nose guard has two perforated triangular extensions that connect to form a larger triangular area that covers the user's nostril to provide protection from the elements while allowing the user to breath. A pair of “C”-shaped cuts in the nose shield receive the nose pads of the eyeglasses. Alternatively, hook and loop patches are utilized to fasten the eyewear bridge to the nose shield.

Abstract: A post-surgical garment comprises a wrap-around material with pouches for comfortable placement of surgical drains. The garment provides a wrap around piece designed to keep the post-surgical drains and the tubing of the drains secure while showering, sponge bathing or during daily activities. A post-surgical drain is slipped through an opening on the side of the garment and any attached tubing is fed through. The post-surgical drain and excess tubing is placed in a pouch. Flaps are securely closed to cover the opening. The garment is then closed in the front with a secure closure.

Abstract: The disclosed method is for making a shirt that includes an anterior portion and a posterior portion. The method includes seamlessly weaving at least a posterior portion of a shirt from a first thread having a first elasticity; and seamlessly weaving a plurality of bands into the posterior portion of the shirt using a second thread having a second elasticity different from the first elasticity.

Abstract: A garment is disclosed that enables caregivers to safely and comfortably outfit wheelchair-bound people when going outside. The garment comprises a garment body configured to extend around a front of a user and to wrap around a seatback of a user's wheelchair and be secured together, an opening at the top of the garment body for a user's neck, and a pair of sleeves for receiving the arms of the user, and wherein at least one of the opposing sides of the garment body comprises fastening components which are removably secured together to secure the back of the garment body to the front of the garment body. The opening at the top of the garment body comprises an approximately V-shaped notch to accommodate a trachea tube, and a hood for engaging over the head of the user and leaving the face open.

Abstract: The present invention provides underwear that are configured for use with pants that are worn below the waistline of a user. The underwear may comprise a wide waistband that is configured to cover from one-third to one-half the total length of the underwear, whereby the waistband occupies an area from just above to just below the waistline of a user. Alternatively, the underwear may comprise hooks that are adapted to hold and maintain a pair of pants at a fixed distance from the waistline, and pockets for holding a user's belongings. The multilayer hard inner structure is formed from at least two spaced layers of hard material and a layer of cushioning material therebetween. The innermost cushioning structure may include sensors, optionally in a separate layer, and a thermal-control layer. Abstract: Face armor according to the invention comprises a face guard having dual side panels for disposition on opposite sides of the head of a person wearing the face armor, wherein a side slit extends upwardly from the bottom edge of each side panel such that the chin strap of a helmet extending to the chin of a person wearing the helmet extends over a portion of the side panel rearward of the side slit, passes through the side slit, and extends under a portion of the side panel forward of the side slit, thereby minimizing interference from the face guard to a snug and comfortable fitting of the helmet's tightened chin strap along the side of the person's head. In one embodiment fasteners close over each side slit and a portion of the chin strap to secure the forward and rearward portions of the side panel together.

The device would preferably be composed of durable, non-rigid, flexible material such as latex, silicon, rubber, or other elastic, durable material. In the sitting position the wheelchair is positionable over a regular commode; in the lying-down position the wheelchair is positionable on the multiple reconfigurable bed sections and movable vertically in response to corresponding movement of the reconfigurable bed sections to the level of the main bed section. The wheelchair also has an opening in the seat section with allowing unobstructed passage of fecal waste from bowel movements when the wheelchair is positioned over the commode.

Abstract: A combination couch trundle bed wherein the trundle bed mattress serves as support for the couch cushions when the trundle bed is concealed within the couch and the trundle bed can be pulled out without having to remove any of the couch cushions. The topper is configured to conduct air along a surface of the topper so that heat and moisture from a patient lying on the topper are drawn away from the surface. The air box includes a blower coupled to the topper to provide air to the topper to be conducted along the surface of the topper. The air box may also include an environmental sensor unit coupled configured to detect environmental information corresponding to the environment around the microclimate system.

This system forms stable emulsions or microemulsions with oils, including non-trans fats and fatty acids and these emulsions or microemulsions are stable, irreversible and can be created at low temperature. The cleaning compositions may include the surfactant system alone, a stable emulsion or microemulsion with oil and the surfactant system, a pre-spotter or other pre-treatment or soft surface and hard surface cleaning compositions comprising the surfactant combination.
