Abstract: A crossing between two transport lines is configured for the horizontal transport of planar articles, preferably in the form of an imbricated stream, of which one transport line is led away at a crossing over the other transport line. Controllable means for transferring the transported articles from one of the transport lines to the other are provided, which, in a first setting, freely admit the transport of the articles on one of the transport lines and, in a second setting, divert the transported articles from one of the transport lines to the other. A transfer apparatus may include a flexible diversion line, which describes a space curve and which with a movable free end, in the first setting, maintains a distance to one of the transport lines and, in the second setting, engages with the free end in one of the transport lines to effect a diversion.

Abstract: An article support is disclosed for movement by a conveyor along a conveying path that has treatment units and turning stations there along. The article support includes a carriage for engagement by a conveyor, and a holder for supporting an article that is rotatably mounted to the carriage. A turning gear is associated with the holder to enable rotation of a supported article about a vertical axis with respect to the carriage. Rotation is effected in response to the article support being moved past a turning station along a conveying path. Indexing arrangements are further operatively arranged between the turning gear and the carriage for indexing at least a first and a second position of incremental rotation. The indexing arrangements include first and second pairs of confronting magnetic elements. The magnetic elements are each positioned in accordance with the relevant first and second incremental rotational positions.

The driving member is connected to the rolling member, for driving the rolling member to rotate along an axis. The conveying assembly includes a supporting member, a fixing member, and several rollers. The fixing member is mounted on a side of the supporting member towards the supporting platform, and defines an arcuate mounting surface. The rollers are mounted on the arcuate mounting surface, and resist the rolling member. Sets of two rollers are located on opposite sides of the rolling member. The rotation axes of the rollers are inclined relative to the rotation axis of the rolling member, which enable the rotation of the rolling member to drive the rollers to rotate and slide along the rolling member.

These excellent osteointegration properties can be achieved in a method in which, optionally after a preceding mechanical surface modification by material removal and/or chemical surface modification, at least the areas exposed of this surface exposed to bone and/or soft tissue are chemically modified in an alkaline solution.

Once engaged, the first and second complementary members (16, 17) cannot be disengaged from one another without the container (10) breaking. The container (10) is thus suitable only for single use, so as to prevent cross-contamination, and to comply with appropriate public health guidelines.

Connecting to this cover is a tubular structure that can feature angularly and or radially expanding elastic tabs and or a foam structure. Contained within the tubular structure are one or more flower retention devices, these connect to and extend through the decorative cover.

Abstract: The present invention provides a package box of liquid crystal glass, which includes a box body, a plurality of mounting sections arranged in the box body, and cushioning devices mounted to the mounting sections. The cushioning devices each include a cushioning section, a retention section connected to the cushioning section, and a projection. The mounting sections each include a first receiving channel and a through hole respectively corresponding to the retention section and the projection of the respective cushioning device. The retention sections are respectively received in the first receiving channels and the projections are respectively fit into the through hole so as to fix the cushioning devices inside the box body. The package box uses cushioning devices that are mounted inside a box in a snap-fitting manner so that the operation of assembling and disassembling the cushioning devices is simple, making it easy to re-work.

The method includes communicating the multiple tablet order to the production facility, the verified multiple tablet order including a plurality of different tablets that are prescribed to be consumed at the same time. The multiple tablet package is filled with at least a first tablet and a second tablet that is different from the first tablet. The multiple tablet package is then sealed. An automated inspection of the sealed multiple tablet package after the multiple tablet package is filled with the first tablet and the second tablet is then performed. The automated inspection includes an inspection module that operates at visual wavelengths and analyzes a tablet color and a tablet shape.

A clip is couplable to the top portion of the perimeter wall when the top portion is in the closed position wherein the clip holds the top portion in the closed position.

Abstract: A shelf-ready shipper display system having a tray portion, a hood portion, and one or more zones of weakness that enable the hood portion to be separated from the tray portion so that the shipper display system can be converted from a shipping configuration to a display configuration. In certain embodiments, the shipper display system is made from a single blank. Abstract: A process of sorting metallic single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) from semiconducting types by disposing the SWNTs in a dilute fluid, exposing the SWNTs to a dipole-inducing magnetic field which induces magnetic dipoles in the SWNTs so that a strength of a dipole depends on a conductivity of the SWNT containing the dipole, orienting the metallic SWNTs, and exposing the SWNTs to a magnetic field with a spatial gradient so that the oriented metallic SWNTs drift in the magnetic field gradient and thereby becomes spatially separated from the semiconducting SWNTs. An apparatus for the process of sorting SWNTs is disclosed.

The extended separators urge the selected lids past protruding pagers which support the remainder stack and prevent it from being dispensed. Once past the pagers, the selected lids are presented for one-handed removal by a user at a housing outlet. Constant force springs mounted between the carriage and the housing return the carriage to its initial position once pressure on the selected key is released.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for deflecting an angle of a flexible suction tube of a spray dispenser (or bottle). In particular, an insert can be located between a cap and a neck of the spray dispenser to deflect, at an angle, the flexible suction tube makes as it descends into a body of the spray dispenser. The angle can be such that the flexible suction tube is directed toward an off-center portion of the bottom of the spray dispenser or to a bottom corner or rim of the spray dispenser. As such, the spray dispenser, as modified by the insert, can siphon the last remnants of liquid in the dispenser, which are often not accessible via traditional spray dispensers (e.g., when used in a tilted fashion) where the flexible suction tube is directed toward a bottom center of the dispenser.

Abstract: A garment hanger air dryer used to quickly and evenly dry simultaneously multiple garments. The dryer includes an upper garment support structure used to hang multiple wet garments. The support structure includes an upper shoulder component and a lower horizontal support rod suspended therefrom. Extending upward from the upper shoulder component is a hot air blower assembly used to deliver hot air into and around multiple garments hung from the upper shoulder component and support rod. In one embodiment, the support structure is selectively attached to the upper end of a height adjustable support pole. The blower assembly may include a hook that allows it to be hung from an upper hook or support bar. During operation, a garment is hung around the upper shoulder component and a pair of pants may be hung from the support rod. Hot air is forced downward and under the upper shoulder component and circulated.

Abstract: A backpack employs a collapsible stretcher and a collapsible wheel assembly. The backpack may be transformed from a compact mode suitable for portability of the backpack to an extended mode wherein the stretcher is extended. A pair of wheels are inflated so that the wheels at one end contact the terrain and at the other end the stretcher is engaged to the backpack to provide for an efficient transport of an injured individual placed in the stretcher.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods for storing and transporting electronic devices. A housing includes a base, opposing sides, a movable cover, and an open lower end. The base has a cutout portion at the lower end. The movable cover is generally coextensive with and parallel to the base, and is resiliently biased into a normally closed position. The cover includes an access aperture at the lower end. Stop means are also provided at the lower end, partially blocking the opening and preventing a stored device from falling out of the housing's lower end. The cutout portion and the aperture allow entry of the user's hand into the housing for either insertion or withdrawal of the device. During either process, the user's hand causes the cover temporarily to be raised into an open position. A sling, a backpack harness, or a handle may be selectively attached to the housing for transport or storage.
