Abstract: A face mask system for effectively dispensing a medication and/or scented material to a user. The face mask system generally includes a face mask with a medication and/or scented material that is dispensed to a wearer of the face mask via the air breathed into the respiratory system. The medication is dispensed via a medicated cover that is removably attached to the face mask. Alternatively, medicated strips are attached to the face mask to dispense the medication to the wearer of the face mask. One or more deflectors are attached to an upper portion of the face mask to deflect the medication from contacting the eyes of the wearer when worn at daytime.

Abstract: A knee pad holding mechanism for holding a knee pad over the knee region of a pantleg having a first length of fabric material and a second length of fabric material operatively secured together to form a pocket, the pocket being sized and shaped to receive a knee pad and having at least one opening located along each of the outside edges of the pocket for receiving a strap associated with the knee pad. In one embodiment, the first length of fabric material can be secured directly to the knee region of a pantleg wherein the pantleg forms the second length of fabric material. Other embodiments include using a loop, eyelet, slits or an additional section of fabric having a slit associated therewith for receiving a strap associated with the knee pad. The present mechanism is also adaptable for use to receive an elbow pad.

Abstract: The present novel technology relates to a medical device and/or medical garment that may be fittingly engaged to a patient or user by a generally elastic belt portion. When the medical garment is worn, it may be used to secure and support Central Venous Catheter lines or Intravenous lines. The lines are threaded through at least one enclosing flap located on the exterior surface of the generally elastic belt portion and secured within at least one compartment defined by the respective flap. Once the lines are secured in the respective compartment, the lines are relieved of tension, and more specifically the lines are relieved of tension at the site where the lines attach to the body.

Abstract: Garments having an evacuation harness that are intended for connection to each other, with each garment having an outer wear unit including at least a torso portion and an evacuation harness that includes a torso strap system connected to the outer wear unit, a drag strap coupling connected to the torso strap system and extending rearward relative to the outer wear unit, and a drag strap connected at a first end to the torso strap system at a position above the drag strap coupling and the drag strap being selectively extendible rearward relative to the outer wear unit. Also disclosed are methods of connecting a rescuer wearing a garment having an evacuation harness to an individual wearing a similarly configured garment having an evacuation harness.

Abstract: A robe-like garment with a liftable back panel. A draw string internal to the robe drapes over either the left or right shoulder of the wearer, and is attached to the bottom of the rear panel. To lift the rear panel, the wearer pulls downward on the draw cord. The panel then lifts to expose the back of the wearer, for example to allow the wearer to use a toilet. The panel may be constructed as multiple folding panels, like an accordion, or simply gathered in a vertical manner.

Abstract: A hooded sweatshirt that may be converted to a stuffed pillow has a sweatshirt body that is adapted to be worn by a person and a hood attached to the sweatshirt body. The hood has a stuffed-pillow surface and an opposed hood surface. The hood can be reconfigured between a sweatshirt configuration wherein the hood surface faces outward and can cover a head of the person when the person is wearing the sweatshirt body, and a pillow configuration wherein the stuffed-pillow surface faces outward and the sweatshirt body may be stuffed inside the hood so that they together form the stuffed pillow.

The inner structure may also or instead include a fabric scrotum guard which covers the rear of the scrotum and which separates the scrotum from the inner thighs and separates the right and left perineal folds where inner thighs meet the lowermost trunk. The scrotum guard may include adjustment structure for adjusting tightness of the fit with the Y formed at the scrotum and the entire perineum. The front of the traditional covering may have an opening for retrieving the penis which opening is arranged horizontally rather than in the traditional generally vertical orientation.

A bottom portion is joined to the top portion by a first circumferential length of elastic and extends downwardly to below the chin of the detainee. A second length of elastic gathers the bottom portion around the neck of the detainee. The transport hood further includes a skirt attached at the first length of elastic that hangs loosely and extends downwardly to at least the neck of the detainee.

The harness system includes a first half and a second half that fit around the user's torso.

The one or several legs can be rotatingly connected to the movable deck and can be slidingly connected to the bottom of the swimming pool/spa. The legs can be connected to synchronizing arms that can interact with a synchronizing drive to coordinate the movement of a first leg with a second leg.

Abstract: An ice access ramp assembly for accessing an ice surface includes a central bridge section and a pair of ramp sections. Each ramp section is pivotably mounted to the central bridge section for movement between a folded configuration and an extended configuration. The ramp sections and the central bridge section have surfaces formed of a low friction material. When the ramp assembly is extended, a first ramp section provides access from an outer floor and enables a sled skater to move up the first ramp section and onto the central bridge section. The sled skater can then move from the central bridge area onto the second ramp section, which provides access onto the ice surface. When not in use, the ramp assembly can be folded for storage and transport. The ramp assembly may include wheels that facilitate transport of the ice access ramp assembly over a floor or other surface.
