Abstract: The new apple tree cultivar was formed by the crossing of the ‘Delblush’ and ‘CO-OP 30’ cultivars. Attractive large bright red-purple fruit is formed wherein such coloration is influenced by the degree of exposure to sunlight. The tree displays a medium-to-large semi-upright to spreading growth habit. The fruit harvest time is late in the season. The fruit flesh is very firm and displays a pleasant juicy sweet taste upon maturity. A quality dessert apple fruit crop is provided.

Abstract: This invention relates to new and distinct cultivar of strawberry plant named ‘Sweet Sunrise’. The new cultivar is primarily characterized by its early ripening and its medium-large, conical fruit that have outstanding processing characteristics including deep red internal and external color, sweet flavor, and very easy calyx removal, as well as vigorous, productive plants that are tolerant to biotic and abiotic stress.

Abstract: A curl spring sash shoe cassette improves upon the suggestions of U.S. Pat. Nos. 5,353,548 and 5,463,793 by providing a mounting bracket that holds an uncurled length of the curl spring and is securely mounted on top of the shoe cassette to maintain an assembly of the shoe body, the curl spring, and the mount during shipment to a window manufacturer. The mount can receive two mounting screws to resist torque caused by curl springs and sash weight. The shoe is also improved to facilitate removal and reinsertion of sash pins into the tilt lock cams of the shoes and ensure that shoe body halves do not rotate relative to each other when sash tilting splays the body halves apart to lock them in a shoe channel.

Abstract: Herein disclosed is a centrifugally cast pole having a substantially uniform wall thickness along the long axis of the pole. During centrifugal casting, molten metal is poured inside a rotating, tapered mold. As chilled liquid is poured over the outside of the rotating mold, the metal forms, or paints, to the contour of the mold interior creating a metal pole. By precisely controlling casting gyrations such as the spin, travel, pitch, and yaw of the rotating mold and the calibration and physical mechanisms of the casting machine, hollow, tapered, tubular metal poles are produced with previously unknown uniformity of wall thickness. The controlling principles, designs, and mechanisms of this centrifugal casting method enable wall uniformity to extremely high tolerances. By extension, the ability to precisely control the metal volume painted inside the mold allows, as a design choice, wall thickness variation in any embodiment if so desired.

Abstract: A quiver for holding arrows is one-hand releasably attachable to an archery bow. A quiver attachment bracket having opposing grooves is mountable to the bow. The quiver has two parallel elongated struts supporting an arrowhead hood and at least one arrow shaft holder. A clamp is mounted to and between the struts having biased first and second jaws extending transversely of the quiver with each jaw having an adjacent one-hand grippable handle extending transversely of the quiver opposite of the jaws. The biased jaws each have a tongue that is lockable into one of the grooves.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for installing control lines and pipe into a well. The pipe-holding spider that is normally mounted on the rig floor is supported by a table elevated above the rig floor. Supporting the spider on an elevated table provides personnel with access to a portion of the length of the pipe string below the elevated spider and above the rig floor for applying a fastener to secure the control line to the pipe string. The control line is supplied from above the spider and is positioned by a control line guide supported on the spider or a sleeve to pass through the spider outside the path of the pipe gripping members, such as slips.

Abstract: Disclosed is a digital signal processing architecture for a flat panel display having non-uniform regions, which is not by means of materials, optical films or fabrication processes. Therefore, the manufacturing cost and complexity of the flat panel display are not negatively affected. In the digital signal processing architecture, a test is performed on the panel for identifying all pixel locations in non-uniform regions and non-uniform types. Then, input video signals are compared with data about the relative non-uniform regions for determining whether the video signal falls in a normal-region pixel or a non-uniform region pixel. Then the non-uniform compensation on the video signal falling in the non-uniform region pixel is based on the non-uniform type, so that the video signals displayed on the panel are not negatively affected.

Each abutment member abuts the skin to define a variable subcutaneous length of the corresponding cannula. The device has at least one tooth, the tooth being sized such that it is able to be inserted into the spaces delineated by the blades. The device including a pin aligned with the tooth or teeth, an end of the pin protruding relative to one end of the tooth or teeth. The pin being capable of sliding into a space delineated by the blades at the same time that the tooth or teeth are inserted into one or more spaces delineated by the blades. This invention also relates to a set for cleaning a grating disc, comprising such a device. Finally, this invention relates to a method for cleaning a grating disc used for cutting food.

Control buttons along one side of the upper service are operable via depression of a user's foot, which in turn activates a heating means and fan convection means to rapidly dry a user's feet and remove moisture from the carpeted assemblies. The assemblies are triangular sections that allow three distinct working surfaces. Once a first user has dried his or her feet, the assemblies are rotated to reveal a fresh, dry surface for a second user. The heating and convection means dries the previously used, moist carpet while in a stowed position.

Also, one portion of the latch is exposed and disposed in the leading portion.
