Abstract: A latch mounts in an opening on the lidcage of a conventional vacuum cleaner. A stationary piece has a hooked arm that locks against an edge on the lidcage, and can be clipped in place without other fasteners. It also has a hose fence that helps hold a stored hose. A movable piece has a tongue that slides within a channel on the stationary piece. When locked, the tongue engages the bead and a lock latches onto an edge, inhibiting the tongue from moving to the unlocked position. The lock is on an actuator tab that extends from the stationary piece and can be deflected by a user to release the lock. A spaced finger edge may be engaged by a user while pressing the actuator tab. A barb on the tongue engages the same edge that the lock latches onto, and resists removal of the tongue from the channel.

Abstract: A hot rolled slab impact type mechanical scale removal device comprises a front cooling water nozzle group, an impact type scale removal gear roller group, a roller cooling device and a cleaning water nozzle group. A slab moves on a slab roller table. The front cooling water nozzle group, the impact type scale removal gear roller group and the cleaning water nozzle group are arranged in sequence along the movement direction of the slab. The impact type scale removal gear roller group is arranged on a support seat. The cooling water nozzle of the roller cooling device is arranged corresponding to the impact type scale removal gear roller group. According to the scale removal device, the oxide skins can be clearly removed, the temperature of the continuous casting slabs can be reduced and the hot rolling quality is improved.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a snap ring pliers. As to the entire structure of the present invention, a lock member is simply turned to control gripping members to hold or release deformation of a snap ring. The lock member is turned for a stop of a limit member to hold against the upper surface of an elastic plate to block a hook portion from moving upward, so that the elastic plate can be made with a thinner plate. The hook portion is flexibly held by teeth of a ratchet rail. A lower protrusion of the elastic plate is held by an upper protrusion of the lock member with less resistance. This enhances the lock member to be turned in a labor-saving or flexible way.

Abstract: The invention relates to a system for installing or uninstalling a removable battery of an electric or hybrid vehicle characterized that the system is fully integrated and does not require any outside assistance. To summarize, the jack (3) can vertically handle and drop the battery (2) when the locks (4) securing the battery below the vehicle (1) floor are opened. The unavailable vehicle positioning against the battery dropping location is characterized that it uses the parking assistance system (5) of the vehicle while the device can compensate the inaccuracy gap. This battery dropping system is useful for batteries exchange, for batteries renting or maintenance, and for adapting the batteries configuration to the forecasted load or usages of the vehicle. Important cost cuts, CO2 cuts and fuel savings can be expected from these possibilities. In fact, the vehicle no longer carries a heavy battery when not necessary.

Abstract: A system and method for installing and removing a flow restrictor assembly in a shower, while prevents tampering with the flow restriction system thus installed. Tampering is prevented by concealing the flow restrictor assembly behind a shower wall, attached directly to a water supply line. The system further prevents tampering by concealing the tool-hole necessary for its removal behind a flow restrictor disk, so that there are no visible means of removing the flow restrictor assembly. The flow restrictor assembly threads onto a showerhead arm and the flow restrictor assembly with the attached showerhead arm threads directly into the water line. When the showerhead arm is unthreaded, the flow restrictor assembly remains connected to the water line by an external screw thread. The flow restrictor must be removed to reveal the tool-hole which may only then be engaged by a tool for removal.

The depth filter is disposed (e.g., wound) directly over the exterior face, and includes a plurality of filaments arranged to define filter layers of level wound filaments. A first layer directly abuts the oxygenator exterior face. The oxygenator bundle differs from the depth filter in terms of: fiber and filament materials, construction of the fibers and filaments, and/or minimum gap spacings between axially adjacent ones of the fibers and the filaments. An oxygenator with integrated arterial filtering capability is provided that minimally impacts the extracorporeal blood circuit prime volume.
