Abstract: A helmet shell is formed having an outer section of fibrous layers, a middle section of fibrous layers and an inner section of fibrous layers. The outer section layers contain high tenacity abrasive fibers in a resin matrix. The middle section layers contain high strength polyolefin fibers and are in the form of woven or knitted fabrics with a resin matrix. The inner section layers contain high strength polyolefin fibers and are in the form of non-woven fabrics with a resin matrix. The helmet is lightweight and resists penetration of rifle bullets.

The protective device is designed to protect the thumb webbing region surface of a liquid proof heat resistant glove or mitten as a spit from a rotisserie oven is drawn atop the protective device. The device may be adjustably connected to the glove or mitten. The protective member may have a generally corrugated shape permitting the spit to transition easily atop it. Further, a living hinge may be provided as part of the protective member allowing it to be formed into a V-shaped channel.

Abstract: A wearable shielding apparatus for protecting a wearer's clothing or body from spills and stray propellants while cosmetics are applied. The wearable shielding apparatus comprises a substantially rectangular bib structure, two flaps defined by a “U” shaped cutout opening in the top of the bib structure, a retaining hook in the bottom of the “U” shaped cutout opening and a front pocket. The flaps each include a weighted portion and are adapted to be draped over a user's shoulders while the bottom of the “U” shaped cutout opening comfortably engages the front of a wearer's neck. The front pocket is adapted to hold cosmetic application tools such as brushes when the wearable shielding apparatus is in use. When not in use, the retaining hook allows the wearable shielding apparatus to be hung on a wall hook or other mounting structure for storage.

In this manner, the waist assembly that provides multiple wearing options, including with the drawstring exposed, with the drawstring hidden, and waistband flipped with drawstring and indicia exposed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to abdominal binders and is particularly directed to the bullet resistant construction. Durable inner and outer semi elastic single panels will house the Spectra Shield or similar type soft armor fabric. A feature of this invention is to have the soft armour fabric run as almost as long and wide as the binder itself thus making the it bullet resistant to most handgun bullets because the Spectra Shield will be layered. An abdominal binder so formed works such that a bullet striking the binder causes the layered material to flex thereby dissipating the force of the bullet. Because Spectra Shield soft armor fabric is very lightweight and very thin, my invention will not sacrifice the desired comfort or the toning and support functions that are needed in an abdominal binder.
