Abstract: A catalytic reactor (16) is provided for purposes of effecting therewith the removal of nitrogen oxides from a process gas (F) that includes at least two catalyst bed segments (48, 50, 52), each of which is provided with a closing device (60, 62, 64). The catalytic reactor (16) is operative for causing said process gas (F) to flow through a first catalyst bed segment (48). Said process gas (F) is at a first temperature at which the sulphur trioxide that is entrained in said hot process gas is at least partially precipitated out on to the catalytic material that said first catalyst bed segment (48) embodies. Periodically said closing device (60) is operated in order to thereby isolate said first bed segment (48) from the flow therethrough of said hot process gas (F). A regeneration system (34, 36, 38) is also provided that is operative for purposes of causing a regenerating gas to flow through the first bed segment (48).

Abstract: An electrically heatable honeycomb body assembly includes an electrical connection of sheet metal layers at a connection pin. A honeycomb body has a metal casing with an inner periphery, through which the connection pin is led in a bushing and electrically insulated. The sheet metal layers are alternately coarsely structured and finely structured or smooth sheets together forming a stack with uppermost and lowermost layers and channels for an axial gas flow between the layers. The connection pin runs radially approximately perpendicular to the layers and is metallically connected to at least two or all of the layers through at least one intermediate piece. The uppermost sheet metal layer preferably runs approximately parallel to the metal casing over at least 35% of the inner periphery and is separated therefrom only by an air gap. Simple production of an operationally safe and very uniformly electrically heatable honeycomb body is provided.

The fuel unit contains a hydrogen containing material that can release hydrogen gas when heated and an exothermic mixture that can react exothermically upon initiation by the initiator assembly. When no fuel unit is in the hydrogen generator, the compressible member is uncompressed and the contact members are at or below its surface, and when a fuel unit is disposed in the hydrogen generator, the compressible member is compressed so the contact members extend beyond the surface to make thermal contact with the fuel unit. Energy from the initiator assembly is conducted by the contact members to corresponding quantities of the exothermic mixture to initiate an exothermic reaction, providing heat for the release of hydrogen gas from the hydrogen containing material.

The reductant composition includes an aloe gel or aloe vera, a xylitol, a ferrous sulfate, a sodium bicarbonate, a calcium carbonate, a zinc gluconate, a salt comprising, a bromelain, a papain and at least one essential oil. A probiotic lozenge may also be used after the two-part oral care system to install good bacteria.
