Emitted light is visible through the transparent chewable shell. The dog toy may additionally be used as a tug toy through the incorporation of a first tug handle and a second tug handle positioned at opposite ends of the dog toy. Finally, the dog toy may be used as a fetch toy as a human user may throw the dog toy for a dog to retrieve. The dog toy is capable of massaging a dog's gums during chewing as well as flossing the dog's teeth.

Abstract: Vapor wake detection is a highly advantageous method and system for detecting explosives and other illicit substances. With vapor wake detection, a canine and a handler are used; however, unlike other detection schemes, the canine leads the handler. After the handler positions the canine in a desired location, the canine detects scents in the air that come to the canine. When the canine detects a trained scent, the canine leads the handler to or follows behind the carrier of the item with the scent. Once the carrier is identified by the handler, the proper personnel are contacted. To implement vapor wake detection effectively, specific rigorous training is utilized.

Abstract: The aim of the invention is to devise a flow control for a continuous-flow water heater, which is used to control the flow of gas to a burner of a heat exchanger as a function of the passage of water, in which only one operating element has to be actuated. Because of the reduction in the apertures through the housing wall of the flow control, at the same time the risk leaks occurring is reduced. Furthermore, the expenditure in manufacturing is to be minimized. To this end, in addition to the operating element (8), a switching element (9) is rotatably mounted on a spindle (7) projecting from the water-carrying housing (5), wherein a rotary movement of the operating element (8) can be transmitted via drivers (10; 11) to the switching to element (9), which also has a switching contour (13) by means of which a fixedly arranged microswitch (14) can be actuated, by means of which an electronic ignition and monitoring device (3) can be electrically actuated, by means of which gas flow to the burner can be shut off.

The HRSG also includes a drum level control module configured to modulate an amount of the fluid provided to the drum along the fluid flow path and a supplemental control module configured to control an amount of the fluid in a different manner than the drum level control module. The heat recovery steam generator also includes a drum level event controller configured to monitor a rate of change of a level of the fluid in the drum. If the rate of change is over a threshold value, a signal goes to the supplemental control. If the rate of change is less than or equal to the threshold value, the signal goes to the drum level control module.

Abstract: Methods for indicating whether a crankcase of an engine is breeched are provided. One example method comprises restricting a communication of the crankcase with atmosphere, acting to increase or decrease a crankcase pressure, and indicating whether the crankcase is breeched based on the crankcase pressure. Another example method comprises sensing a crankcase pressure component, and indicating whether the crankcase is breeched based on the crankcase pressure component, the crankcase communicating with atmosphere via a conduit, a restrictedness of the conduit responsive to one or more of a crankcase pressure and a signal from an electronic control unit of the motor vehicle. Still other examples provide more particular methods for indicating whether the crankcase is breeched, and example configurations that enable the various methods.
