Patent number: 9010831Abstract: A motor vehicle with a cargo space situated behind a seat arrangement and an adjustable loading panel arranged inside the cargo space is provided. Guides for adjustably accommodating the loading panel are located in the cargo space. Mounted in the loading panel is an actuating handle, which can be moved through exposure to a spring action for swiveling at least one eccentric mounted in the loading panel out of a position that fixes the loading panel in place into a position that releases the loading panel for adjustment purposes, and for adjusting the loading panel. The configuration makes it possible to ergonomically load the cargo space with the continuous adjustment and automatic braking of the loading panel.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 2013Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: GM Global Technology Operations LLCInventors: Ralf Gaudig, Werner Berhard

Patent number: 9010832Abstract: A multi-piece tank enclosure comprises a horizontal cover and a vertical panel removably connected to each other and to the vehicle body such that they form a space for enclosing a tank that is mounted on the vehicle body. The horizontal cover can comprise an assembly formed by a lid and a toolbox bin, and the vertical panel can be provided with an opening for accessing the tank fittings. The multi-piece tank enclosure can be installed on a vehicle by removably attaching the horizontal cover and the vertical panel to the vehicle body. The multi-piece tank enclosure can accommodate toolbox bins of different sizes, each matched to a different sized tank.Type: GrantFiled: May 17, 2013Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: Westport Power Inc.Inventors: John F. Patent number: 9010833Abstract: The invention relates to a wear-resistant lining element which is intended for a surface on a truck haul body subjected to wear. The wear-resistant lining element has an outwardly directed surface, over which material in the form of pieces or particles, such as crushed ore and crushed rock material, is intended to move, and has an inwardly directed surface intended to face the truck haul body surface. The wear-resistant lining element comprises elastomeric material. The wear-resistant lining element is characterized in that the wear-resistant lining element comprises at least one open cavity in the inwardly directed surface. The invention also relates to a wear-resistant lining, a truck haul body and a method for disengaging material adherent on a truck haul body surface having a wear-resistant lining.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2012Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: Metso Minerals (Sweden) ABInventors: Anders Burstrom, Jonas Hansson, Henrik Persson

Patent number: 9010834Abstract: A cargo management system including a vehicle load floor and a pair of opposing cargo trim panels supported above the load floor at opposite sides of the load floor within the interior of the vehicle is provided. The vehicle load floor compartmentalizes a cargo area into an upper compartment and a covered lower compartment. The load floor has a wood grain finish. The trim panels are compression-molded, composite cargo trim panels supported above the vehicle load floor at opposite sides of the load floor within the interior of the vehicle to at least partially define the upper compartment of the cargo area. Each panel includes a base layer and a coverstock sheet bonded to the base layer by press molding. Each coverstock sheet provides its respective trim panel with a wood grain finish in the upper compartment of the cargo area.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2013Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: Global IP Holdings, LLCInventors: Darius J. Patent number: 9010835Abstract: A front surface of a front cowl and the windscreen are disposed so as to form a gap therebetween, and a screen cover is fixed over the front surface in an engaged state. An upper portion of the screen cover covers a lower portion of the windscreen so that the gap is invisible externally. In addition, an intake port substantially in the shape of a slit elongated in the front-rear direction is provided between each side part of the screen cover and the front surface, in an obliquely rising outwardly opening shape. Traveling wind is laterally taken in through the intake ports, to be led through the gap to the inner side of the windscreen.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2014Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hiroaki Tsukui

Patent number: 9010836Abstract: A coil spring of a push-up device for pushing out a fuel lid in an open direction includes a large pitch portion and small pitch portion, which have different pitches. Therefore, when the fuel lid is being closed, the coil spring, which pushes a rod into a case, has an increase rate of an urging force at an initial stroke less than an increase rate of the urging force at a later stroke following the initial stroke.Type: GrantFiled: February 13, 2012Date of Patent: April 21, 2015Assignee: Nifco Inc.Inventors: Yasuhiro Watanabe, Kiyoshi Hokazono, Kosei Yoshino
