In operation, the article of apparel is effective to delay/diminish the rise in skin temperature (compared to a garment lacking the membrane), increasing wearer comfort.

Control and activation of the turn and/or brake signals is mainly by using electrical conductive nature of the signal glove as a switch of the signaling component which is either incorporated with the glove or with the vehicle (e.g. bicycle). The signaling component can emit turn/brake light signal or transmit an activation signal to a light emitting device to give turn/brake light signal. The turn and brake light signals are in yellow and red color, respectively.

The first tightening portions include plural partitioned tightening portions extending in the vertical direction and adjoining in the width direction. The partitioned tightening portions are formed such that the directions of high stretchability in the respective partitioned tightening portions approach closer to one another toward the lower side.

Abstract: A belt has a band and a belt buckle. An end of the band has multiple hole sets formed thereon. The belt buckle is mounted on another end of the band and has a frame and a buckling element. An end of the buckling element is formed as at least one pivot bar pivotally connected to the frame. Another end of the buckling element is formed as multiple prongs selectively mounted through engaging holes of one of the hole sets. Thus, the buckling element and the band can be stably connected with each other. The prongs of the buckling element do not rub against edges around the engaging holes, so the engaging holes are not enlarged. Moreover, the prongs can be integrally formed on the buckling element. No additional manufacturing process is needed. Accordingly, the belt and the belt buckle are practical and convenient for manufacturing.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards a helmet adapted for use by a human being for a variety of activities. The helmet includes a shell, a plurality of FAEs, and at least one rigid component. The shell maybe configured and arranged to cover a portion of a wearer's head. The plurality of FAEs may be separately positioned adjacent to the shell's interior surface. Each FAE may include at least one disc spring that is adapted for absorbing forces. The at least one rigid component may be disposed within the shell and adjacent to the plurality of FAEs. In this way, the FAEs may be between the shell's interior surface and the at least one rigid component. When a force is applied to a location on the shell's exterior surface, it may be substantially absorbed by at least one of the FAEs positioned adjacent to the location on the shell's interior surface.

The systems may include both a main filtration pump and a secondary booster pump, with the booster pump containing a variable-speed motor. An entry door provides access into the bathtub without requiring users to lift their legs during entry, while the dam elements allow the user to fill the sectioned compartments of the tub and prepare it for use before entering the bathtub interior. Certain compartments may remain empty as the other compartments fill with water, whereafter the user can enter the empty the empty compartment and remove a dam element after closing the entry door. The bathtub further may also comprise a first and second drain for independently draining the compartments.

Abstract: An injection molded shower stall assembly or bathtub assembly particularly for use in a recreational vehicle includes an injection molded tub or shower base, which includes an integrally formed drainpipe which is externally threaded and adapted to easily and permanently be connected to plumbing for the recreational vehicle. Injection molded walls are formed to surround either the shower stall or tub. The injection molded walls have lower edges that interfit with edges of the tub or shower stall in a way which prevents water from flowing behind the preformed walls and holds the lower edges of the preformed walls in position, eliminating the need for any type of penetrating fastener along the base of the walls. The walls are formed in multiple sections that fit one on top of the other, with interfitting lower and upper edges, again to reduce the need for penetrating fasteners and to hold the sections in position.

Abstract: A top-mount faucet assembly includes a coupling mounted on a counter that selectively couples a faucet thereto. The counter coupling has a disc-shaped collar with two keepers and a land for selectively locking the faucet. The land has a v-shaped part and a n-shaped part. The faucet has a main valve body with a locking assembly. To couple the faucet to the counter coupling, the main valve body is placed over the coupling and turned clockwise so that slots align with the keepers to fix the faucet axially to the coupling. As the faucet rotates clockwise, the locking assembly rides along the v-shaped part until captured by the n-shaped part to lock the faucet in place rotationally. To uncouple the faucet from the coupling, a button is pushed so that the locking assembly moves radially inward out from the n-shaped part, then the faucet is turned counter-clockwise.

Abstract: Disclosed is a patient lift system having a sling bar with an inductively charged integrated scale. The lift system comprises a lift apparatus, a lift strap connected at a first end to the lift apparatus, a sling bar connected to a second free hanging end of the lift strap, the sling bar having a scale with a tension load cell integrally disposed therein for measuring forces applied thereto and a power source electrically connected to the scale to provide power to the scale and load cell. An accelerometer is disposed within the sling bar to determine a tilt angle of a lift axis of the load cell relative to a vertical direction of gravitational force. Programming stored in a processor of the integrated scale calculates an accurate weight of an active load suspended from the sling bar, based on the determined tilt angle and the measured force on the load cell.

The present application also relates to chrome-free retanned leather formed by the method of the invention.

Foam items may be, for example, expanded EVA foam items pre-formed into an intermediate size and shape. A skin layer may be formed during the expansion of the foam item to form an expanded foam item which may be entirely or partially removed by buffing the item using particles projected with selected buffing parameters. The buffing parameters may be varied based upon the thickness of at least a portion of the skin layer and/or the desired degree of moldability for the foam item after buffing. Particulate sodium bicarbonate or other types of particles used for buffing may be recycled and reused for further buffing of foam items.

An image feature is compared to distance tolerances associated with pattern features to adjust the proposed cut path such that it satisfies the distance tolerances while providing a consistently sized and shaped trimmed item.

Abstract: An autonomous coverage robot includes a cleaning assembly having forward roller and rearward rollers counter-rotating with respect to each other. The rollers are arranged to substantially maintain a cross sectional area between the two rollers yet permitting collapsing therebetween as large debris is passed. Each roller includes a resilient elastomer outer tube and a partially air-occupied inner resilient core configured to bias the outer tube to rebound. The core includes a hub and resilient spokes extending between the inner surface of the outer tube and the hub. The spokes suspend the outer tube to float about the hub and transfer torque from the hub to the outer tube while allowing the outer tube to momentarily deform or move offset from the hub during impact with debris larger than the cross sectional area between the two rollers.

Abstract: The disclosed tape cleaner comprises an adhesive tape roller, a support roller inserted in the adhesive tape roller and supporting the adhesive tape roller, an upper cover having both sides connected to both sides of the support roller and partially covering the outer circumferential surface of the adhesive tape roller, a rotary cover having both sides connected to both sides of the support roller, partially covering the outer circumferential surface of the adhesive tape roller, on the inside of the upper cover, and rotatable by 360° in both directions about the longitudinal direction of the support roller, and a handle connected with the upper cover. Both the adhesive tape roller and the support roller rotate about the longitudinal direction of the support roller, and the adhesive tape roller, the support roller, the upper cover and the rotary cover are all attachable and detachable.

Abstract: A textile fabric wiper is provided having a polymer coating applied to enhance the attraction of the wiper to particulate contaminants, especially particles in the range of 0.5 to 20 microns.
