  • Publication number: 20150144050
Abstract: The invention is an anchor which constitutes a certain weight in the water, when dropped into the water by means of a connection like a rope or chain connected to the mentioned vessel in order to stabilize the vessels at a required area or point over the sea surface. It has an expandable reservoir which allows the water transmission inside from the outside, keeps the material located inside and is connected to the vessel with the connection and contains a water absorbent material which expands and gets heavy when interacting with water located in the reservoir. When the water absorbent material interacts with water it turns into a mass of thick solid gel and becomes heavier inside the reservoir in which it is located, and reaches the sufficient weight that the reservoir can stabilize the vessel at its place.

Abstract: A pressure differential indicator that eliminates the risk of providing a false positive due to fluid contamination. The invention has an electrically insulated barrier between the “hot” pin and the grounded housing without the need for a hermetic seal. The indicator can be manufactured at a greater efficiency and lower cost than is found with prior art pressure differential indicators. It has a piston that can be easily oriented to yield either a normally closed or normally open position. The indicator has at least one protrusion on a plastic overmold to engage the swage collar and resist axial rotation of the pin. A pressure seal interrupting the plastic overmold sections and exposing the underlying metal to allow for an O-ring seal with no potential leak path between plastic and metal. Finally, the pressure differential indicator has all moving components contained within a single cavity.

Abstract: An apparatus to auto-adding an energy-saving activator has a container and a control unit. The container has a heater electrically connected to a control circuit of the control unit. The control unit has a vibration sensor and a sound sensor. When both the vibration and sound sensors transmit signals, the control circuit will actuate the heater to heat the energy-saving activator in the container so that the heated energy-saving activator turns into vapor and leaks out of the container toward the internal combustion engine to decrease the carbon deposits. Using both the vibration and sound sensors is in order to actuate the heater correctly without erroneous judgment. The heated vapor drafts into the internal combustion engine at once to mix with the fuel so that the fuel is burned oxyfuelly and completely to efficiently decrease the carbon deposits. Therefore, the efficiency of the internal combustion engine is also enhanced.

Abstract: The invention relates to seal assembly for a rotary piston internal combustion engine comprising a rotating block (11) of a rotational 12 shape with radially situated cylinders (12) with pistons (13) and an outer stationary case (10) with at least one intake port (14) and/or exhaust port (15). The outer surface (16) of the rotating block (11) is a rotational surface with a straight line or curved profile curve, on which transverse and/or side sealing parts, which are placed in the stationary case (10), sit. In circular side grooves (2) there is a side seal consisting of circular side sealing segments (1) that are always placed between neighbouring transverse sealing strips (3), which are placed in transverse grooves (4). Those sealing strips (3) go through the side grooves (2) across. In the place, where the side sealing segments (1) and transverse sealing strips (3) meet, there are joints (5) with notches (7) for inserting the side sealing segments (1) and transverse sealing strips (3).

Abstract: A control device for direct injection gasoline engines includes a fuel injection control part (engine control device) composed to control a fuel injection aspect of an injector. The fuel injection control part changes an injection mode of the injector by changing the lift amount of the injector and the injection interval of the fuel respectively. The fuel injection control part switches between a first injection mode, which includes multiple times of the fuel injection with the small lift amount of the injector and the small interval of the fuel injection, and a second injection mode, which includes multiple times of the fuel injection with the bigger lift amount of the injector and the larger interval of the fuel injection than those of the first injection mode, according to an operating state of the engine body.

Abstract: A gasoline direct-injection engine is provided. The engine causes a self-ignition of a fuel injected into a cylinder by an injector and at least containing gasoline. The engine includes a controller for controlling the fuel injection by the injector. A geometric compression ratio of the engine is 15:1 or higher. The controller causes the injector to perform a pre-injection for keeping a variation of an in-cylinder temperature after a compression top dead center within a predetermined temperature range by injecting an amount of the fuel that causes an oxidative reaction without resulting in a hot flame reaction. The controller causes the injector to perform a main injection for causing self-ignition combustion of the fuel after the compression top dead center while the variation of the in-cylinder temperature is kept within the predetermined temperature range, by injecting the fuel after the pre-injection.

Abstract: A compression-release brake system comprises an exhaust rocker arm, an actuation piston slidable in a piston bore in the exhaust rocker arm so as to press an exhaust valve, a supply conduit formed within the exhaust rocker arm, and an exhaust valve reset device mounted to the exhaust rocker arm. The actuation piston defines an actuation piston cavity within the actuation piston bore between the piston bore and the actuation piston. The exhaust valve reset device includes a reset check valve disposed between the supply conduit and the actuation piston cavity to hydraulically lock the actuation piston cavity by closing the reset check valve when a pressure of the hydraulic fluid within the actuation piston cavity exceeds the pressure of the hydraulic fluid in the supply conduit. The reset check valve is biased closed by the pressure of the hydraulic fluid within the actuation piston cavity during the brake-on mode.

Abstract: A system according to the principles of the present disclosure includes a desired throttle area module, a correction factor module, a throttle control module, and an airflow compensation diagnostic module. The desired throttle area module determines a desired throttle area based on a driver input. The correction factor module determines a throttle area correction factor based on a difference between an estimated intake airflow and a measured intake airflow to compensate for a decrease in the measured intake airflow due to a flow restriction. The throttle control module determines a desired throttle position based on the desired throttle area and the throttle area correction factor. The airflow compensation diagnostic module diagnoses a fault in an amount of intake airflow compensation based on the throttle area correction factor.
