Abstract: The preferred embodiment of my pin is a simple two part pin that consists of a pin assembly and a decorative cover plate. The pin assembly consists of a pin having a loop on top of the pin and a stabilizing post that intersects the upper region of the leg of the pin away from the point or bottom of the pin. Two bumps placed at the ends of the post for alignment and slippage. The decorative cover plate being any non-solid or solid shape, and having two snap-in clamps and a guard that directly correspond with both arms of the post and the point of the pin. Thus by creating 3 points of contact the back of the cover plate and supporting more of the cover plate when attached than a pin alone will support and creating more stability for both pin and material. The pin supports other jewelry ornamentation and fabrics to give a designer look to any fabric or like material whether that is clothing, arts crafts or home décor.

Abstract: The present invention is a carrying bag such as a gym bag or backpack which includes at least a pocket formed on the outside of the bag or backpack which contains a nylon mesh or other expansion type retainer sewn into the interior of the pocket which is closed by closing means such as a zipper. When the pocket is opened, the expansion retainer means can be unfolded and a large object such as a basketball, football, or objects such as wet clothes can be placed in the expansion retainer. The object within the expansion retainer is securely retained by a drawstring with a locking retainer to be sure the expansion retainer is closed and thereafter a clip or D-ring connects the top of the expansion retainer to a portion of the gym bag or backpack so that it is securely retained to assure that the objects will not fall out and will hang off the side of the gym bag or backpack so as not to put a strain on the carrier's back.

Abstract: A plastic container for storing a hydrogel contact lens in a liquid, the container comprising: a cavity and a substantially flat flange that extends in a plane around the opening periphery of the cavity, and the flange having a sealing area round the circumference of the cavity. Furthermore, the sealing area has a micro-texture pattern. When sealing the container with a flexible cover sheet which is a laminate material having a metal foil layer and at least one polymer layer to form a storage package of the soft contact lens, the micro-texture pattern of the sealing area engages a laminate foil cover and displaces water beads present between the laminate foil cover and the plastic container in the sealing area around the cavity to form a heat seal.

Abstract: A combination in accordance with the present invention comprises two elements; an insert and a sealable plastic bag. In the preferred embodiment, the insert comprises an outer perimeter; a plurality of primary folds formed within the outer perimeter; a plurality of side supports extending outwardly from the plurality of primary folds; and a plurality of secondary corner folds at the outer perimeter. The insert is used with a pliable and portable food item, such as a sandwich, and placed within the sealable plastic bag. The insert further comprises elements to tent or protect the food item during transport of the insert and food item within the bag.

Abstract: A handle structure for a draw bar of a luggage case includes a handle, a handle casing, a push member, and a connecting device. The handle includes two control members each having a movable member pivoted to a stationary member. The movable member includes a press portion and a reaction portion at two sides of the pivot point. The handle casing is fixed around the handle to hold the press portion. The push member has a head portion disposed in the handle casing and connected to the reaction portions, and a shaft portion extending out of the handle casing. The connecting device is fixed to the rod portion, and the shaft portion is inserted in the connecting device. When the press portion is subjected to a force in a direction, the reaction portion is moved toward that direction, the reaction portion moves the shaft portion toward the rod portion.

Abstract: The modular luggage transport system attaches to a wheeled piece of luggage on front and back sides, via straps with connectors. A hinged base plate and hinged toe plate pivot down to allow additional pieces of luggage to rest on the hinged base plate. Straps with connectors are then connected, securing the additional pieces of luggage to the wheeled piece of luggage for transportation to a desired location as needed.

Abstract: A cosmetic product including a pressed cosmetic powder cake is provided. The pressed cosmetic powder cake includes depression formed therein for receiving a liquid to facilitate use of the cosmetic product. The pan defines a recess therein for holding the powder cake. Pivotally connected to an opposing end of the shaft is an angularly adjustable handle. Accordingly, a user places lotion on the applicator head and reciprocates it on a desired portion of the body. If necessary to reach a certain area, the shaft can be extended or retracted, and the handle can be adjusted to a desired angle.

Abstract: A collector-type applicator implement includes: a barrel body having a front barrel and a main barrel on a rear side of the front barrel, the main barrel being fitted with the front barrel; a collector having comb-like fins and arranged in a front part of the barrel body; and, a storage space defined in a rear part of the barrel body for storing an application liquid. The collector is covered by front barrel and the main barrel and configured to be held inside the barrel body.

Abstract: An adjustable suspension system for a backpack includes a flexible frame, a trampoline and a tension adjustment mechanism. The suspension system can allow the user to control the position of the frame anywhere between a flat position directly adjacent to the user's back and a fully bowed position that arches away from the user's back.

Abstract: One embodiment of a backpack frame extender for augmenting the length of an external backpack frame to provide longitudinally elevated connection fittings for a backpack frame load lifter straps. The backpack frame extender includes a plurality of stays and straps for attachment to a backpack frame, with a means for releasably connecting the backpack frame load lifter straps to the backpack frame extender. The attachment straps allow the backpack frame extender to be releasably attached to the backpack frame and positioned at various heights as determined by a user's torso length and personal preference. Other embodiments are described and shown.

Abstract: In one aspect, a scrubber brush assembly is provided. The scrubber brush assembly includes a scrubber brush having a body of open-cell foam including an interior surface, a sleeve received in contact with the scrubber brush, the sleeve including peripherally-spaced, longitudinal walls and reinforcing segments interconnecting adjacent ones of the longitudinal walls and forming elongated pockets along the length, the sleeve having raised ribs extending along the length, and a mandrel having recesses formed on an outer surface, the mandrel being coupled to the sleeve by receiving the raised ribs within the recesses. Scrubber brush subassemblies, high stiffness mandrels, and methods of assembly are provided, as are numerous other aspects.

Each leg is formed by at least two telescopically connected leg sections freely movable through and transversely of the unintruding common axis in moving between extended and retracted positions relative to each other. Each leg includes a locking mechanism for retaining a lower leg section in an extended position. The table structure further includes means for releasing the locking mechanism to facilitate collapsing of the table to its closed condition.

An actuator, connected to the pull-in-device and movable relative to the guide member, interacts with a driver on the shelf or on the guide member.

The casing includes a second portion not configured to contact the body part, and at a third portion joining the first and second portions. The second and/or third portions are made of material configured to convey a liquid and/or vapor from inside to outside the casing. Padding, enclosed between the first and second portions, has a porous structure enabling the inside to be ventilated by vapor exiting the casing by contraction of a volume of the padding causing air to enter the casing by expansion in the volume of the padding. The porous structure has a resiliently compressible variable volume.

Abstract: A seat tie apparatus and method of using same, the apparatus including a cushion material contained within an enclosure. A first strap is connected at each end thereof to the enclosure and extends across a first back corner of the enclosure. First and second ties are slidably coupled to the first and second straps, respectively. Abstract: A dual-spring plunger for a plunger matrix mattress assembly includes an outer tension spring with an upper end fixed to an outer spring mount of a plunger guide body and a lower end located below the guide body positioned to receive a bottom end of a pin of the plunger. An inner tension spring nested within the outer tension spring has an upper end fixed to the inner spring mount of the guide body and a lower end having a spur slidably captured within a slot through a fin of the shaft of the pin. The outer spring is tensioned while the inner spring is not tensioned during a first portion of downward movement of the pin relative to the pin guide, whereas both the outer and the inner spring are tensioned during a second portion of downward movement of the pin relative to the pin guide.

Abstract: The present invention provides a body support assembly comprising a layer having a passage, a pump positioned to create a flow of fluid through the passage, a sensor that detects a parameter and produces a signal, and a controller coupled to the sensor and programmed to control the flow of fluid based on the signal. Preferably, the layer comprises visco-elastic foam. In one embodiment, the parameter corresponds with a firmness of the layer (e.g., a temperature of the layer). A heat exchanger can be used to alter (e.g., heat or cool) a temperature of the fluid. The present invention further provides a method of controlling a firmness of a body support comprising sensing a sensed value of a parameter (e.g., temperature) of the body support, establishing a desired value of the parameter, comparing the sensed parameter to the desired value, and adjusting the parameter.

The microclimate surface is especially suitable for providing optimal heating and/or cooling of a person. The heating or cooling is provided through heating or cooling delivery system located in the sculpted polyurethane foam microclimate surface. The microclimate surface has a plurality of independently moving pillars which is optimal in reducing pressure ulcers on the skin of a person caused by the person spending extended periods of time on a typical surface, such as a hospital mattress. The heating or cooling delivery system may be provided through three possible configurations.

Abstract: The present invention describes a baby carrier rocking device. In one embodiment, the device includes a housing with an imbedded motor, MP3 player, and related components. The housing may feature various shapes and designs, and comprises an aperture at the top portion thereof. The aperture is adapted to hold a first end of an elongated arm therein. The second end of the elongated arm is adapted to rock a baby carrier. In operation, the motor actuates the elongated arm so that it extends upward at a regular interval, contacting a baby carrier and thereby pushing the same in a rocking motion. Each time the elongated arm is extended upward, it falls back down via gravity. In this way, the present invention provides parents or caregivers with a hands-free way to rock a baby carrier.

Abstract: A travel lap seat is disclosed, having a harness and a lap portion. The harness has a first portion that secures the lap seat to an adult, and a second portion that secures a child to the lap seat so that the child sits upon the lap portion when the adult is seated. The harness can also be used as a child carrier. The lap portion may be detachable or stowable, and may be attached to a back portion. The back portion and lap portion may form a single, monolithic unit.

Abstract: A wall mount assembly for suspending a football near a wall to provide the illusion that the football is floating without support. The wall mount assembly having a lace engagement component for engaging with the laces of the football to hold the football to a wall engagement portion of the wall mount assembly. Lace engagement components can be selected to rotate the position of the laces from the top of the mounted football to closer to the wall behind the football if desired to display a signature on a football panel not adjacent to the laces.

Abstract: A display fixture has a convertible rack fixture and an extendable frame assembly. The convertible rack fixture has a base with a top surface, two uprights extending from the top surface, two bottom crossbars extending between the two uprights, and two top crossbars extending between tops of the two uprights. The extendable frame assembly is located between the two bottom crossbars and between the two top crossbars and has a base frame and a telescoping frame that telescopes out of the base frame. The base frame has two substantially vertical legs that rest on the top surface of the base of the convertible rack and a lateral support that extends between the two substantially vertical legs separate from the top surface of the base.

Systems and devices include a pushing assembly having a track, a pusher, and a stop for restricting forward movement of the pusher when the stop is engaged. Abstract: The seasonal feature displayer of the present disclosure and related inventions is configured to highlight and provide semi-permanent placement for a small selection of seasonal or special collection greeting cards among various other greeting cards displayed on a standard tiered greeting card fixture. The displayer utilizes two pivoting attachment support arms for attachment of the displayer to a tiered greeting card fixture. Integrated channels on the inside edges of the display are capable of holding product signage or marketing messages.

Abstract: Attachable and detachable shot glass and pocket type accessories having a clip on one side for allowing the shot glass type accessories to securely clip onto exterior edges of larger beverage containers, such as glasses, plastic container, paper and cardboard cups, while keeping top of the shot glass and the liquid contents in the shot glass level with the top of and the liquid contents in the larger beverage container, such as beverage glasses, coffee and tea and beverage cups, on insulation sleeves on cups, and the like. The shot glass can hold extra liquids, such as alcohol and non-alcohol therein, as well as hold sweeteners, creams, and the like. The shot glass is attachable to containers of other edible substances, such as desserts to hold toppings in the shot glasses. Shot glasses can be used to hold paints clipped on a container holding painting supplies, such as brushes.

The sidewall includes at least one flexible segment extending through the sidewall from the inner surface to the outer surface, which may also extend from the upper margin to the lower margin. Each flexible segment renders the sidewall sufficiently flexible to allow the sidewall to adjust to receive cups of varying sizes and shapes.

The apparatus includes: a substantially horizontal base; an elongated U-shaped, semi-cylindrical caddy on which a sock positioned inside out is fittable and into an interior of which a foot is insertable; and a tilt unit coupled to the caddy and pivotally connected to a head portion of the base. The base is T-shaped and is configurable by an elongated main portion and two spaced, forwardly positioned head portions. The tilt unit is insertable within an interspace between the two head portions. The tilt unit is pivotally connected to the two head portions by at least one coupled horizontally disposed pin which is substantially perpendicular to the main portion. The tilt unit and the caddy are able to be tilted about a horizontal axis during a sock donning operation.

Abstract: A power transfer system to facilitate the transfer of electrical power between tree trunk sections of an artificial tree is disclosed. The power transfer system can advantageously enable neighboring tree trunk sections to be electrically connected without the need to rotationally align the tree trunk sections. Power distribution subsystems can be disposed within the trunk sections. The power distribution subsystems can comprise a male end, a female end, or both. The male ends can have prongs and the female ends can have voids. The prongs can be inserted into the voids to electrically connect the power distribution subsystems of neighboring tree trunk sections. In some embodiments, the prongs and voids are designed so that the prongs of one power distribution subsystem can engage the voids of another power distribution subsystem without the need to rotationally align the tree trunk sections.
