Abstract: A pressure device has a rifled barrel, a rifled end cap, a section clamped to the barrel, a circular flange welded to a threaded male pipe connection, a plate with holes or a cone, a female cap receiving the plate and aligning the holes to the rifling in the barrel, and the flange threadily engaging the cap, securing the plate. The rifled barrel provides shearing, increased pressure, and higher temperatures upon the passing crop residue. The increased surface area of the rifling grooves increases temperature and pressure between the crop residue and the barrel wall. The rifling, when misaligned, creates a pressure chamber that further breaks down the molecules in the crop residue. The crop residue then enters a popper device. The pressure in the popper device forces the crop residue through the holes of plate or around an encased cone, relieving excess pressure and producing a nutritional animal feed.

Abstract: The invention is a reusable personal cooling apparatus that utilizes exclusively pourable pellet forms of Carbon-Dioxide Pellets as an expendable coolant. This coolant is placed in one or more compatibly designed, refillable Coolant Chambers that are integrated into a wearable garment that can be either a Hard-Shell Design (by example, an impact-protection helmet) or a Soft-Shell Design (by example, a vest), or a combination thereof. The Carbon-Dioxide Pellets are of machine manufacture and high density. They enhance the conformability of the Soft-Shell Design garment, promote ease of filling both garment designs and make possible the application of the pellet form of coolant to rigid, thin, curved structures like a helmet. The application of vibration expedites the speed of filling the apparatus and maximizes the fill volume by minimizing void formation within the Coolant Chamber.

The protective pocket includes cooperating first and second lightweight fabrics, and an opening for receiving the object. The first fabric may be an item of a race participant's apparel or a backing that itself is attached to such an apparel item. The second fabric may be a mesh member having spaced apertures through which the object is visible and exposed to elements. The protective pocket is configured to maintain the object in a substantially vertical planar orientation, and thereby in an “upright” position, such that it that is (a) substantially parallel to the plane defined by the adjacent surface of the race participant's apparel item, and (b) substantially parallel to the plane defined by the adjacent body part of the race participant (e.g., a torso or leg). This positioning also improves the visibility of the indicia printed on the object through the mesh member.

Abstract: An undergarment for accommodating an external medical device is provided. The undergarment includes a front portion, a rear portion; a crotch portion, a waist opening; at least two leg openings, and at least one pocket defined by at least one piece of fabric secured to the front portion upon an exterior of the undergarment. At least one opening is provided between the piece of fabric and the front portion, and at least one aperture is located in proximity to a corner formed near to upper border and an inner side border of one pocket. The at least one pocket is positioned at the front portion of the undergarment in a slanted fashion. A lower border of the pocket forms an angle of between about 15 and about 30 degrees with respect to a horizontal line extended across the undergarment and, preferably, an angle of about 22 degrees.

Abstract: The invention discloses a hook coupling comprising a principal hook body and two blocking members disposed thereon to block any object inserted into the principal hook body. The hook coupling can make the inserted object (such as shoulder belts) to be very conveniently inserted into the hook coupling. In addition, after the shoulder belts are inserted, one blocking member can compress the shoulder belts, and the other blocking member can completely seal the clearance for inserting the shoulder belts, which result in the shoulder belts being not slid out from the hook coupling.

Abstract: An adjuster for adjusting a length of a cord is provided. The adjuster comprises a t-component having a sliding member and a cross member that are integrally formed to form, at least, a first angle. In response to an application of force, the t-component is adapted to move from a first position to a second position, which increases the first angle. The adjuster also comprises a channel body that has a recessed cavity that is adapted to receive the cross member when the t-component is moved from the first position to the second position. The channel body further comprises a sliding channel, where the sliding member is slidably engaged with the channel body within the sliding channel. A first guide channel extending from a first side surface of the channel body to the sliding channel is also a component of the channel body.

An energy absorbing flexible liner predominantly comprised of radially oriented foam columns is attached to both the head cap and outer shell. The liner establishes a preset initial relative position and spacing between the head cap and the outer shell and compliantly absorbs energy imparted to the outer shell during a helmet impact to enable the outer shell to move linearly and angularly relative to the head cap during the helmet impact and to be returned to the initial relative position with the head cap following the impact.
