The acquisition unit acquires behavior histories of users being candidates to whom content is to be distributed. The extraction unit extracts target users expected to perform specified behavior, based on a behavior history designated by a content provider, of the behavior histories acquired by the acquisition unit. For example, the extraction unit uses a model for determining the degree of similarity between a user performing the specified behavior and a target user expected to perform specified behavior based on the behavior history designated by the content provider in order to extract the target users.

Abstract: A server device determines a message received from the sender device associated with an ephemeral-messaging client application accessed by the sender device which converts the message received from the sender device into a multimedia data embedded with the message based on a designated using an algorithm of the server device using a processor and a memory. The method determines a recipient device that has requested access to the message and applies a business rule when determining an access privilege of the message associated with the recipient device and a user of the recipient device. The recipient device access to the multimedia data converted from the message based on the business rule and automatically purges the message and the multimedia data from the server device based on the business rule after the multimedia data is communicated to the recipient device.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for identifying a likelihood that a client will provide payment for an overdue balance associated with the client's account and ranting a grace period to the client in which to provide the payment. This permits a client to provide payment for an overdue balance that may have been unintentional without an interruption of the services rendered to the client. Factors used to determine whether to grant the grace period include financial characteristics of the client's account. In the example of an advertiser using a social networking system to serve ads, social engagement of the advertiser can also be used to determine whether to grant a grace period.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for advertising where the advertisement performance is determined via tracking the deals made as a result of communication leads generated from the advertisements. One embodiment includes: providing an advertisement containing a communication reference to a customer on behalf of a party; providing a connection via the reference for real time communications between the customer and the party; and charging an advertisement fee in response to an action of a predetermined type being performed by the customer (or an agreement between the customer and the party being reached) as a result of the real time communications.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for managing purchasing of online advertisements in a real-time bidding system is provided. A setpoint profile defining one or more changes in a setpoint value over time is accessed, wherein the setpoint value indicates a target number of advertisement purchases in a particular time period. A controller executes a control loop feedback algorithm intended to produce actual advertisement purchase results that track the setpoint profile over time. The actual advertisement purchase results may experience time lags when encountering changes in the setpoint value due to the operation of the control loop feedback algorithm. Thus, the method further includes executing a profile modification algorithm to modify the setpoint profile to account for such time lags associated with the actual advertisement purchase results.

Abstract: A system and method of providing user customizable web advertisements are disclosed. In some embodiments, the system may include a non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing computer-executable instructions and one or more processors. When the one or more processors execute the computer-executable instructions, the processors may be configured to receive a customizable advertisement, the customizable advertisement having at least one customizable portion. A specification field receives a formal definition of a service. The formal definition is for inclusion to define one of service offerings of the SOA. A current grammar is determined which is currently in effect as a specification-requirement of acceptable definitions for a service category in which the service is categorized. The current grammar is a common grammar. The system determines whether the formal definition in the specification field is acceptable, by adhering to the current grammar determined to be currently in effect as the specification-requirement for the category of the service. The formal definition is accepted for the service when it is determined to be acceptable according to the current grammar. Otherwise, the formal definition is rejected.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system and service for rental vehicles by providing an improved and streamlined booking experience. A user interfaces with the central system through a website or mobile application where the user's location is provided to the system. The system then uses such information to identify rental companies within a specified geographic location relative to the user's location and rental preferences. A user is then presented with rental choices located in the geographical area where the user may then select and reserve a particular rental. The central system may also provide rental information to car vendors, rate management companies, and third party transportation providers. Other travel related services may use data from the central system. The system may also use geo location services from an outside provider to provide mapping services and other geographical information.
