Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method performed in a forklift truck, for determining a load position in a load rack. The forklift truck includes optical detection means movable with a load carrier. The method includes the steps of determining a reference position related to the optical detection means of a first land mark located on a first height of the load rack based on the position of the first landmark in a first image captured by the optical detection means; determining a second position related to the optical detection means of a second land mark located on a second height of the load rack based on the position of the second landmark in a second image captured by the optical detection means at a predetermined height; and determining a load position on the second height based on a comparison between the reference position and the second position.

To provide an inexpensive production of low-bubble transparent components of quartz glass despite the use of still open-pore SiO2 granulate, the sintering atmosphere, sintering temperature and sintering duration are adjusted such that the densified SiO2 granulate still comprises open pores but manifests a material-specific infrared transmission T1700 at a wavelength of 1700 nm. Abstract: A method and apparatus to treat a dried unfired article comprising a ceramic precursor composition substantially held together by a binder, to be resistant to binder soluble solvent based processing. The method includes depositing a fluid on the article surface, and polymerizing the deposited fluid to form a polymer thin layer on the surface. The fluid may be an aerosol, a vapor, a fog, a mist, a smoke, or combinations thereof. An apparatus to perform the method and an article resistant to binder soluble solvent based processing are also provided. The article can be an unfired honeycomb body that includes a dried composition of ceramic precursor substantially held together by a binder and a layer disposed on a surface of the unfired honeycomb body. The surface to be exposed in the green state to a binder soluble solvent and the layer protects the binder from solubilization by the solvent.

Abstract: Methods are provided for improving the yield of aromatics during conversion of oxygenate feeds. An oxygenate feed can contain a mixture of oxygenate compounds, including one or more compounds with a hydrogen index of less than 2, so that an effective hydrogen index of the mixture of oxygenates is between about 1.4 and 1.9. Methods are also provided for converting a mixture of oxygenates with an effective hydrogen index greater than about 1 with a pyrolysis oil co-feed. The difficulties in co-processing a pyrolysis oil can be reduced or minimized by staging the introduction of pyrolysis oil into a reaction system. This can allow varying mixtures of pyrolysis oil and methanol, or another oxygenate feed, to be introduced into a reaction system at various feed entry points.
