A manganese source liquid solution, a lithium source liquid solution, a phosphate source liquid solution, and a metal M source liquid solution are provided. The manganese source and the metal M source are salts of strong acids. The Mn source liquid solution, the metal M source liquid solution, the Li source liquid solution, and the phosphate source liquid solution are mixed to form a mixing solution having a total concentration among the manganese source, metal M source, lithium source, and phosphate source less than or equal to 3 mol/L. The mixing solution is solvothermal synthesized to form a product represented by LiMn(1-x)MxPO4, wherein 0<x?0.1.
