  • Patent number: 9360023
Abstract: A hydraulic system has a cylinder and ram assembly that raises and lowers a load carrying carriage on a material handling vehicle. The fluid exhausting from the cylinder, while the carriage is lowering, is controlled to recover energy from that fluid. A first path routes the exhausting fluid to drive the pump as a hydraulic motor. A second path routes the exhausting fluid to a reservoir, bypassing the pump. In a first lowering mode, the second path is closed and the first path is opened. In a second lowering mode, both the first and second paths are open and the flow through each one is proportionally controlled. In a third lowering mode, only the second path is opened. The mode to use is selected based on the desired lowering speed of the carriage.

  • Patent number: 9360024
Abstract: The invention relates to engineering hydraulics, in particular to hydraulic drives with closed working fluid circulation. The hydraulic drive contains a hydraulic accumulator connected with a drive motor. The hydraulic pump is connected through pressure and drainage pipelines to a hydraulic distributor connected through pressure-drainage pipelines to a double-acting hydraulic motor with piston and rods. Between the pressure and drainage pipelines is connected a check valve. The hydraulic flow distributor, is made crane-type, three-position, six-way, consisting of a cylindrical body closed on one side with a cover, the other side with a pressure washer, on the shaft is mounted a control lever. In the cylindrical body and the shaft are made in two levels create alternately pressure and drainage flow passages. The hydraulic drive has a wide range of manufacturing and operating capabilities, large capacity and speed, positional accuracy of the actuators, compactness, low weight and high reliability.

  • Patent number: 9360025
Abstract: A hydraulic soft-start system includes a flow control valve which is in fluid communication with a pressure source and an inlet of a motor. The system includes a first flow restricting orifice and a second flow restricting orifice disposed between a pilot for actuating the flow control valve and the inlet of the motor. A first flow is passed from the pressure source via the first orifice to an inlet of the motor, placing the motor in a partially-actuated state. The flow control valve is actuated after a threshold pressure of the pilot is reached allowing a second flow to pass from the pressure source to the motor inlet. The second flow is higher than the first flow, thereby placing the motor in a fully-actuated state.

  • Patent number: 9360026
Abstract: In a comparing circuit, the value of a control signal from a higher-level device and a normal range that is set for the control signal are compared, and the result is sent to a control unit. The control unit, when sent the result indicating that the value of the control signal is outside of the normal range, forcibly adjusts the electric current signal (the adjusted electric current) to the electropneumatic converter to zero, regardless of the deviation between the value indicated by the control signal and the value indicated by the valve opening signal. The adjustment of the electric current in the control unit is performed using a normal function that is possessed by the control unit, that is, the function for changing continuously the value of the electric current signal in accordance with the deviation.

  • Patent number: 9360027
Abstract: A proportional valve including a housing having an inlet and an outlet, and a valve element movably positioned in the housing between the inlet and the outlet. The valve element having a pilot valve opening, a first pressure chamber with a pressure acting on the valve element in a first direction, and a second pressure chamber with a pressure acting on the valve element in a second direction opposite to the first direction. A pilot valve element actuated by a drive mechanism to cooperate with the pilot valve opening to form a pilot valve. A flow resistance between the inlet and the first pressure chamber is smaller than a flow resistance between the inlet and the second pressure chamber. The pilot valve opens into a third pressure chamber connected to the outlet via a throttled flow path.

  • Patent number: 9360028
Abstract: A hydraulic control, for example of a hydraulically operable working tool, includes a hydroconsumer that can be acted upon against a permanent force via a pressure source, and a switching valve with working power/pressure control function reacting against a spring force depending on a pressure and/or through flow volume. The switching valve connects the hydroconsumer with a tank for a return stroke of the hydroconsumer when the pressure source is switched off. The hydroconsumer can be hydraulically stopped with the return stroke via the pressure source by a pressure pulse and/or through flow volume pulse. In a hydraulically operable working tool, the hydroconsumer can be hydraulically stopped in the return stroke even before a predetermined end position is reached by switching on the pressure source.

  • Patent number: 9360034
Abstract: A locking device designed to lock objects to tubes or other elongated elements that generally comprises one or more lock plates and lock housings. In one exemplary embodiment, when assembling the locking device to a tube, two lock housings are put together with open sides against each other around a tube with a dimension corresponding to approximately half of a recess which is found on the lock housing's sides and are oriented in the tube's axial direction. The two lock housings form a closed geometry around the tube. Lock plates are used to connect the two lock housings together. By applying a screw in a threaded hole in one of the lock housings' cover, the through tube is pressed against an opposite lock housing at substantially the same time as the lock plates hold the lock housings together.
