Abstract: An electric hair cutting apparatus having a motor for rotating a shaft, which rotates an eccentric about the axis of the shaft, but not about the central axis of the eccentric. A cylindrical bearing is positioned around the eccentric. A drive tip is provided with a follower end which is shaped and positioned to engage with the bearing surrounding the eccentric. As the eccentric rotates, the bearing alternately pushes on left and right arms of the follower end of the drive tip, causing the drive tip to oscillate back and forth about a pivot point. The angle of the bearing with respect to the eccentric allows for generally continuous contact between the arms of the follower end of the drive tip with the bearing, even throughout the pivoting of the drive tip.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a bond magnet includes providing a bond magnet composition including a magnetic material and a resin, extruding the bond magnet composition in one direction to produce a molded body while orienting the magnetic material in the one direction, magnetizing the molded body in the one direction using an axial magnetization to produce a magnetized molded body, and laminating the magnetized molded body to produce a laminated molded body including first magnetized molded layers and second magnetized molded layers. The first magnetized molded layers and the second magnetized molded layers are alternately laminated. A first magnetization direction of each of the first magnetized molded layers is opposite to a second magnetization direction of each of the second magnetized molded layers.

Abstract: An extrusion device can include a driver operatively coupled with a motor such that the driver is rotated about an axis by operation of the motor. The driver can have a passage positioned such that the axis extends through the passage. The driver can have a filament-engaging member positioned in the passage and configured to engage a filament extending through the passage such that rotation of the driver moves the filament relative to the driver. The driver can be positioned such that a first direction of rotation of the driver urges the filament along the axis toward an outlet. A heater can be configured to melt the filament and can be disposed between the driver and the outlet to receive the filament from the driver.

Abstract: A sheet body extruded from an extruding die is mounted on conveyers immediately and thereby drawdown and the like is inhibited or prevented to suppress deflection in the thickness, length and the like of the sheet body. Further, the conveyers include a heater inside thereof and thereby reduction of the temperature of the sheet body can be inhibited or prevented by heating by means of the heater. As a result, productivity of the hollow body is improved.

  • Publication number: 20160303793
Abstract: A method of forming a three-dimensional object is carried out by: (a) providing a carrier and an optically transparent member having a build surface, the carrier and the build surface defining a build region therebetween, with the carrier positioned adjacent and spaced apart from the build surface at a start position; then (b) forming an adhesion segment of the three-dimensional object (c) optionally but preferably forming a transition segment of the three dimensional object; and then (d) forming a body segment of the three dimensional object. In each case, the segment can be formed by: (i) filling the build region with a polymerizable liquid, (ii) continuously or intermittently irradiating the build region with light through the optically transparent, and (iii) continuously or intermittently advancing the carrier away from the build surface, to thereby form that segment from the polymerizable liquid.

Abstract: A method for forming a three-dimensional object uses a three-dimensional object printer to form a printed part and an injection molding system is used to form a molded part that adjoins the printed part and completes the three-dimensional object formation. The method includes operating an ejector head of a three-dimensional object printer to eject drops of material onto a platen to form the printed part, operating an actuator to move the printed part from the platen to a cavity of an injection mold of an injection molding system, and operating injectors of the injection molding system to inject material into the cavity of the injection mold to form the molded part that adjoins the printed part to form the three-dimensional object.

Abstract: A method of forming a component includes preparing a starting powder and spreading the powder on a platform to form a first layer. A first mask with a plurality of openings is placed over the platform and the platform is irradiated with an energy source, such that the energy passes through the openings in the mask and transforms selected regions of the first layer into a denser form of matter according to a 3-D model of the component stored in a control system of the device. The platform is then indexed down one layer of thickness and a second layer of powder is spread on the first layer. A second mask with a plurality of openings is positioned between the energy source and the first layer and the first layer is irradiated with energy that passes through the mask and transforms selected regions of the second layer into a denser form of matter. The platform is indexed down one layer of thickness again and the process repeated until the component is formed.
