The microphones may similarly be positioned on various locations of the wearable garment for sensing lung and heart auscultations. The wearable garment may be worn close to the patient's chest wall for improving sensor and microphone data while retaining patient mobility. The patient computing device runs a monitoring application thereon and includes a graphical user interface having a number of virtual inputs for allowing the patient to initiate self-monitoring sessions and manage the signals and computer data received from the sensors and microphones.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 13, 2016Publication date: October 20, 2016Applicant: MOHAMED HUSSAM FARHOUD REVOCABLE TRUSTInventor: MOHAMED HUSSAM FARHOUD

Publication number: 20160306941Abstract: The present invention provides a method of determining a treatment program for a subject. The method includes obtaining subject data representing the subject's condition. The subject data is used together with a model of the condition, to determine system values representing the condition. These system values are then used to determining one or more trajectories representing the progression of the condition in accordance with the model. From this, it is possible to determine a treatment program in accordance with the determined trajectories.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 22, 2013Publication date: October 20, 2016Applicant: NEUROTECH RESEARCH PTY. Publication number: 20160306942Abstract: A method for subject-specific assessment of neurological disorders, the method includes receiving 3D image data representative of a subject's brain and identifying subject-specific anatomical structures in the 3D image data. A subject-specific model for electrical dynamics is created based on the 3D image data and the subject-specific anatomical structures and one or more functional indicators of neurological disorder are computed using the subject-specific model for electrical dynamics.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 16, 2015Publication date: October 20, 2016Inventors: Saikiran Rapaka, Hasan Ertan Cetingul, Francisco Pereira, Dorin Comaniciu, Alma Gregory Sorensen

Publication number: 20160306946Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for recording and monitoring pain are disclosed. A device may record a date and time corresponding to a pain entry, a pain type corresponding to the pain entry, and a pain intensity corresponding to the pain entry. The device may further record a pain location on a body corresponding to the pain entry. The device may also display the pain entry. In various embodiments, the device may display a graphical pain representation superimposed over the pain location on the body. The device may also read an input encircling the pain location on the body. The device may further display a plurality of pain entries in a plot relative to time.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 15, 2016Publication date: October 20, 2016Applicant: Nanolume, LLCInventors: Ronald E. Publication number: 20160306947Abstract: Method, systems, and devices for designing a test molecule are disclosed. An example method includes using a molecular simulator to generate sets of simulation data. Each set of simulation data may include simulation data indicative of simulated locations in a solvent of (i) molecules of a reference molecule and (ii) molecules of one of M test molecules. The method may also include determining a probability of contact between an a species and a ? species for each set of simulated data. A contact may occur when a particle of the ? species is within a range of radials distances from a particle of the ? species. Each of the a species and the ? species may be one of the reference molecule, the solvent, or one of the M test molecules. The method may further include determining a simulation result based on at least one probability of contact.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2014Publication date: October 20, 2016Applicants: DOW GLOBAL TECHNOLOGIES LLC, THE REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGANInventors: Ronald LARSON, Prateek JHA, Robert SCHMITT, William PORTER, III

Publication number: 20160306948Abstract: A computational systems pharmacology framework consisting of statistical modeling and machine learning based on comprehensive integration of systems biology data, including drug target data, protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks, and gene ontology (GO) annotations, and reported drug side effects, can predict drug toxicity or drug adverse reactions (ADRs). Biomolecular network and gene annotation information can significantly improve the predictive accuracy of ADR of drugs under development. The use of PPI networks can increase prediction specificity, and the use of GO annotations can increase prediction sensitivity.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 29, 2016Publication date: October 20, 2016Inventors: Jake Yue Chen, Xiaogang Wu
