A leg assembly is mounted to each half and collapses independently of the other and is movable between an extended position and a stowed position. A locking hinge pivotally connects the halves and automatically disengages a locking feature of the hinge when one of the leg assemblies is pivoted. The hinge includes first and second hinge members. The second hinge member includes a pawl pin slot and a pawl pin, which slides in the slot between a first position and a second position. Rotation of the first hinge member with respect to the second hinge member is prevented in the first position and is permitted in the second position. A cable is mounted between the leg assembly and the pawl pin. Pivoting the leg assembly causes the pawl pin to be automatically moved from the first position to the second position.

Abstract: A rack for holding articles, components, parts and other such items and further being collapsible and stackable upon other similar racks whether any of the racks are in an upright or collapsed position. The rack includes a shelf and a plurality of leg assemblies distributed about the shelf perimeter, the leg assemblies each having a leg footer, a leg member, and a slider pivot bearing joining the proximal ends of the leg footer and leg member thereby constraining relative motion between the leg footer and leg member to two degrees of freedom. Embodiments of the rack further include retaining tabs on the leg member and corresponding notches on the leg footer to lock leg members in the upright position. Pairs of leg assemblies may be connected by primary connecting frame elements forming a portion of the perimeter, with the pairs being connected by secondary connecting frame elements forming another portion of the perimeter.

Abstract: A self-rimming sink is provided. The self-rimming sink includes a basin and a rim extending outwardly from an upper end of the basin in a relatively horizontal orientation. The rim is configured to be placed on top of a countertop for supporting the sink. The self-rimming sink also includes an apron coupled to the rim and defining a front portion of the sink. The apron has a front surface extending vertically below the rim and laterally between a first side surface and an opposite second side surface. The first and second side surfaces each having a front vertical lip that extends laterally to an outer periphery of the rim and a rear side wall portion. The rear side wall portion is recessed relative to the front vertical lip and the outer periphery of the rim.

One or both of the seat and the backrest have a continuous sheet of flexible and elastic mesh or patterned open texture plastic held across and substantially covering an opening in an all-plastic hoop fixed between the frame sides.

Abstract: An infant car seat cover is adapted to be attached to an existing infant car seat and is configured to extend over the surface thereof creating an enclosed internal cavity. The cover has an interior mesh surface, which is selectively covered by a protective exterior surface. Additionally, the interior and exterior surfaces are supported by pivotally attached support frames, which define an internal cavity for the infant to occupy. When fully extended over the surface of the car seat, the cover is capable of opening at multiple points, allowing various access and breathability configurations.

Abstract: A device and method for maintaining a user's legs in an elevated position is presented. In particular, the embodiments comprise a base plate having a front surface and a rear surface, a calf cup and heel cup integrated with the front surface, a plurality of retractable leg members, a plurality of hinges, an attachment means comprising preferably a plurality of hook and loop fasteners, and a plurality of gripping caps. The base plate is adaptable to attach with the user's leg or footwear. The plurality of retractable leg members is adaptable to operate in a deployed configuration allowing the user's leg to rest thereon and/or in a stored configuration wherein the leg members become parallel with the rear surface of the base plate, and a locking mechanism is presented.

Abstract: A collapsible mattress support for a box spring includes hinges on opposite sides of a middle cross bar. First and second side bars are pivotally attached to one hinge, and third and fourth side bars are pivotally attached to the other hinge. Each of the bars rotates about parallel axes that are orthogonal to the hinges. The four side bars each has a common width. A first distance between the axes about which the first and second bars rotate equals twice the common width of the bars plus a second distance between the axes about which the third and fourth bars rotate. In one embodiment, the cross bars are extendable. The components of the mattress support for Queen, California King and Eastern King sized mattresses fit in a packing box whose length is no greater than 45 inches and whose width and height are each no more than 7 inches.

Abstract: A layered cushion that may be fully disassembled for easy cleaning is disclosed herein. The sleep system is durable and fire retardant. The layered cushion may include a foam layer, a layer of void cells, and a cover. The foam permits fluids to move freely there through and contours to a user's body to maximize comfort and reduce interface pressure. The reticulated foam layer resists compression set and thermosetting. The layer of void cells also permits fluids to move freely there through and provide additional support to the user's body. The individual void cells of the void cell layer are perforated to allow the transmission of fluids there through. The cover couples the other layers together to form the layered cushion and prevents the layers from deteriorating. The cover is removable to permit cleaning each of the layers independently.

Abstract: A baby support for supporting a baby positioned on a front torso of a supporting person. The baby support includes an elongated soft body that extends across a back torso of the supporting person and the baby. The baby support also includes fastening ends that overlap and secure to support the baby on the front torso of the supporting adult. The baby support may be configured to stretch to generate an elastic force to pull the back torso of the baby towards the back torso of the supporting person.

Abstract: A display rack including a support, one or more bracket attached to the support and merchandise supports, such as shelves, supported by each bracket. The support may be a vertical support and a plurality of bracket mounting locations may be spaced vertically along the support. Each bracket may include adjoined first and second beams. The beams may be adjoined proximate the inner ends and extend to free outer ends. Each beam may include a leading side which faces in a common forward clockwise or counterclockwise direction about the support. Each shelf may be secured with respect to the leading side of each beam and may extend from the leading side in the forward direction. The brackets and shelves may be configured to present merchandise entirely around the rack for improved merchandise visibility and accessibility.

Abstract: A cord with an outer fabric covering over a sheath and draw string is used to secure a sheet to a bed. The cord has a series of clips attached there-to by a second cord or by direct attachment. The clips are in turn removably attachable to edges of a sheet. One then tightens the draw string, reducing the length of the cord, and continues to do so until the sheet is pulled to a bottom side of the mattress. In this manner, the sheet ends are beneath the mattress and tightened thereto by the cord. The cord further snaps to itself, in embodiments of the disclosed technology, to form a closed loop around the bed.

Abstract: A beach blanket for use on the sand that resists being blown around by the wind. It comprises a main panel of fabric that the user can lay upon. On the bottom side of the main panel is a plurality of scoops that can be anchored by digging into the sand prior to use. Scoops are anchored at opposing points so that tension is applied to the main panel. If sand is blown onto the top of the main panel a point on the top of the main panel may be plucked thereby ejecting the sand off of the side of the main panel.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a stackable container system. The stackable container system can comprise a beverage container, a beverage container lid, a plurality of smaller containers, and a plurality of smaller container lids. The smaller containers and smaller container lids are configured to allow any of the smaller container lids to be used on any of the smaller containers. The bottom of the beverage container and the bottom of each smaller container is also configured to allow the beverage container or smaller container to be interlocked with the top of any of the smaller container lids. In addition to storing beverage ingredients, the stackable container system can also be used to store other edible and inedible ingredients.

Abstract: A clothes hanging device comprises a frame, a pivoting member, and a hanging hook. The frame has a plurality of racks connected around with one another. A connection rod is arranged between every two relative racks. The pivoting member is arranged on the connection rod. A ball groove and a cutting groove are arranged at the pivoting member and the cutting groove is communicated with the ball groove. The hanging hook has an assembling portion, a hook portion, and a shaft portion. The assembling portion is pivoted in the ball groove. The shaft portion is deflected partially and hooked in the cutting groove due to the assembling portion being pivoted at the ball groove. Therefore, it may be quickly ventilated, easy to circulate the air, and shorten the natural air-dried time of the hanging clothes.

The connector members have a length of material that extends to and connect through corresponding openings in the support member on the second hanger portion. Abstract: An infusion process apparatus for making a beverage includes a container, an insert which initially holds a measured amount of an infusible material and later holds this same material in the form of the grinds that are filtered from the beverage, an elongated plunger, a filtering basket attached to the plunger, and a means adapted to releaseably lock with the insert so as to remove it and its grinds contents from the container as the filtering basket is withdrawn from the container—thereby providing for easy cleanup of the process' grinds, and wherein the filter basket's bottom is adapted to compress the filtered infusible material that has been forced down into the insert by the filter basket's downward movement and to adhere to the insert's contents while stopping the infusion process so that the beverage does not acquire the characteristic bitterness and burnt taste that is associated with an over-infused brew.

Abstract: A brewing module includes a support element, a first brewing module part and a second brewing module part that can be moved relative to the first brewing module part. The first brewing module part and the second brewing module part have a discharging device for discharging an extraction product from a capsule and an injector for introducing an extraction liquid into the capsule. In a supporting position with the brewing chamber open, the support element catches a capsule inserted via a defined insertion position, such that the capsule lies on the support element and on a support part of the first brewing module part after insertion. By closing the brewing chamber, the support element is moved away from the supporting position into a resting position, wherein the capsule is simultaneously held by a gripping element of the first brewing module part and/or of the second brewing module part.

Abstract: Splatter guard for pots, pans, and other cooking appliances, with long-handled tongs, which have two legs that can be pressed together, includes a movable tongue situated between the two legs so that the tongue is raised when the two legs are pressed together. If the two legs are pressed together, the tongue is automatically raised, at least partially, and in particular in its front area, which faces the free leg ends, to the extent that the tongue protrudes above the two legs. In this way, a clamping space is formed between the raised tongue and the two legs into which a flat splatter guard element can be inserted. If pressure is applied on the two legs when the splatter guard element has been inserted, the splatter guard goes back to its basic position in which the tongue is located, at least essentially, in one plane with the two legs.

Abstract: A cooking pan provided with an exhaust device is capable of reducing smells or smoke generated when food is cooked. The cooking pan includes a distribution plate that is installed at the center of a lower surface of a bottom part of the cooking pan with a predetermined gap to form an exhaust space part, and an exhaust pipe that connects the exhaust space part with an interior of the cooking pan. Thus, the smells and smoke of the interior of the cooking pan are forcibly discharged and burnt by a pressure difference between the interior and exterior of the cooking pan and by flowing flames applied to the distribution plate of the lower surface of the cooking pan, so that the unpleasant smells and smoke are remarkably reduced, as is the emission of carbon dioxide.

The shield shields the gas burner from ash produced by combustion of the coal supported on the first grill and directs the ash onto the ash tray.

Abstract: A collapsible travel tumbler is described. The tumbler includes a collapsible container made of flexible material. The collapsible container is inserted through a rigid collar, on the top edge of which the collapsible cup sits. A lid with a sealable drinking hole is then screwed onto the collar, providing a complete and secure closure of the collapsible tumbler. When not in use the collapsible container can be collapsed into the housing created by the combination of the collar and the lid for easy storage and transport.

Abstract: A foldable pan includes a pan body, and a handle connected to an outside of the pan body. A horizontal rotation mechanism is arranged between the handle and the pan body. The handle and the pan body form a horizontal rotation connection by the horizontal rotation mechanism. The horizontal rotation mechanism includes a rotation head, a base, and a spindle assembly. The rotation head is formed at an end of the handle. The spindle assembly passes through a top of the base and the rotation head to form the horizontal rotation connection, and further, a bottom of the base is fastened to the pan body by a connection assembly. The foldable pan with a foldable handle provided in the present invention reduces store space of the pan and is convenient to store, further the package volume is reduced after being folded, thus reducing transfer cost.

Abstract: A catering box with active climate control is configured to transport “delicate” foods, such as grilled cheese sandwiches, hot dogs, and hamburgers, without inducing substantial sogginess in the bread of those food items. The catering box includes a heat mass configured to retain heat generated by a hot plate and to then radiate that heat, during transport, after the hot plate has been disconnected from a power source. In addition, the catering box includes an exhaust fan that actively controls internal specific humidity levels in order to prevent moisture from settling within the bread of stored food items. A microcontroller within the catering box monitors temperature and absolute humidity levels, computes the current specific humidity level, and then selectively engages or disengages the exhaust fan in response. With his approach, the catering box may limit the degree to which humidity settles within the bread of delicate food items stored within.

The trigger mechanism is configured to move the sealing element from a storage position to a sealing position when the stop activates the trigger mechanism. The sealing element provides a fluid seal between the shower door and the surface when the sealing element is in the sealing position.

The hand dryer comprising two elongate air-knife discharge outlets—each outlet discharging a respective air-knife down onto a hand of the user—the air-knife outlets being arranged side-by-side over the basin of the sink. Each air-knife outlet is arranged on an angle such that the inboard end the air-knife outlet is below the outboard end of the air-knife outlet.

Abstract: The wall-mounted towel rack is a device adapted to be mounted on a vertical surface, and which is also adapted to support a plurality of towels thereon. The wall-mounted towel rack includes a plurality of armatures that are pivotably engaged with respect to a mounting member. The plurality of armatures is each attached to and is perpendicularly-engaged with respect to the mounting member. Moreover, the plurality of armatures is each able to extend and retract an armature length in order to support towels of varying sizes. An armature hinge attaches between the mounting member and one of the plurality of armatures. The armature hinge enables the one of the plurality of armatures to rotate from a vertical orientation to a horizontal orientation.

The ribs, the laminae and the splitters combined divide the inner chamber of the tube body into two pressure chambers and two nonpressure chambers; both the pressure chambers and the nonpressure chambers are filled with damping oil.

The station housing and the robot body fluidly connect the evacuation passageway to the cleaning bin of the received robot. Abstract: A method of cleaning residue from a surface includes providing a disposable cellulosic wiper including a percentage by weight of pulp-derived papermaking fibers, and a percentage by weight of regenerated independent cellulosic microfibers having a number average diameter of less than about 2 microns and a characteristic Canadian Standard Freeness (CSF) value of less than 175 ml. The microfibers are selected and present in amounts such that the wiper exhibits an average effective pore radius of less than 50 microns. The wiper is applied, with a predetermined amount of pressure, to a residue-bearing surface. The surface is wiped with the applied wiper, while applying the predetermined amount of pressure, to remove residue from the surface, such that the surface has less than 1 g/m2 of residue after being wiped under the predetermined amount of pressure.

Abstract: An apparatus for the evacuation of warm, moist air or vapor from a dishwasher cabinet or other washing machine interior. A centrifugal fan draws the hot air and water vapor out of the washing cavity through a flue riser and discharges it into a cooling chamber with one or more cooling spray nozzles. The cooling spray nozzles spray a fine mist of cold water into the stream of heated air and vapor, and may spray at angle to the flow of the stream of heated air and vapor. As the heated air and vapor from the dishwasher and the cooling spray mix, heat is transferred from the heated air and vapor to the cold water or mist being sprayed into the air stream. This reduces the temperature of the vapors and air that was extracted from the dishwasher. As the temperature is reduced, the water vapors condense and form droplets which accumulate on the sides and bottom of the cooling flue.

Abstract: A washing machine descaler introduction apparatus for introducing a descaling agent to the water inlets of a conventional washer and dryer at a controlled rate comprises a dispensing bag with an attached dispensing valve assembly and an attachable diverter. In use, the dispensing bag, containing of a descaling agent, is hung from an elevated position above a convention washing machine with the water inlet conduits of the washing machine each connected to one of two outlet tubes of the diverter. Once a hole is opened for ventilation, the valve handle is moved from the closed position, partially or fully opening the valve assembly's outlet pipe, thereby enabling the descaling agent to exit the bag and be directed into the hot water inlet conduit and the cold water inlet conduit at a rate that is controlled by how unobstructed the outlet is with respect to the closing member.

The appliance includes: —an electronic control unit (20); and—a switching mode low power supply unit (6) having at least a first control terminal (11) and at least an output terminal (9) which supplies a main prefixed supply voltage (VB) to the electronic control unit (20). The switching mode low power supply unit (6) is further configured to switch between a standby state and an operating state, when it detects a prefixed voltage variation (?V) on the first control terminal (11). The electronic control device (3) is configured to connect, at least temporarily, the first control terminal (11) to the output terminal (9), or to an independent auxiliary terminal (31) having a predetermined voltage, to generate the prefixed voltage variation (?V) on the first control terminal (11) to cause the switching mode low power supply unit (6) to switch from one of the states to the other state.
