Abstract: A juicer comprises a base. A motor electrically connected to a controller disposed inside the base. The controller controls an axis of the motor to turn clockwise or anti-clockwise. The axis of the motor has a first end and a second end in an opposite direction to the first end. The first end of the axis is axially connected with a first unidirectional bearing coupled with a first connecting element coaxially. The second end of the axis is axially connected with a second unidirectional bearing coupled with a second connecting element coaxially. The second connecting element is moved together with a third connecting element. Thereby, the axis of the motor turns in clockwise or anti-clockwise direction for selectively enabling the first connecting element to move upwardly together with a first cutter inside a first container and to turn the first cutter for cutting.

Accordingly active monitoring of a saccade, if a saccade triggering stimulus is employed; or smooth pursuit, if smooth pursuit triggering stimulus is employed, of the eye of the person is not needed for determining whereto to eye or eyes are fixated. The present invention also relates to the use of a system employing the method of the invention. The present invention further relates to a system for the method of the invention and a software product for the system.

Abstract: An ophthalmic surgical apparatus includes an observation optical system, an illumination optical system, an interference optical system, and an image forming unit. The observation optical system is configured to observe an eye through an objective lens. The illumination optical system is configured to illuminate the eye through the objective lens. The interference optical system includes a reference optical path and a signal optical path which leads to the eye through the deflecting member located between the objective lens and the eye, and is configured to detect interference light based on light having passed through the signal optical path and returning from the eye and the reference light having passed through the reference optical path. The image forming unit forms an image of the eye based on a detection result obtained by the interference optical system.

Abstract: An apparatus for enabling corneal topography includes an attachment to align a placido disc illumination system with a camera of a mobile communication device. The placido disc illumination system generates concentric rings and reflects the concentric rings off a cornea. A portion of the reflected concentric rings are utilized to confirm vertex distance. The apparatus further comprises a memory, a processor, and computer-readable instructions in a mobile communication device. The camera captures an image of reflected concentric rings and communicates the captured image of the reflected concentric rings to an external computing device. A method for performing corneal topography utilizes a mobile computing and/or communication device, projects a plurality of peripheral concentric rings onto a subject's cornea and projects center rings onto the subject's cornea. The method further includes capturing, via a smartphone camera, an image of the projected peripheral concentric rings and the center rings.

Abstract: A fundus imaging apparatus includes a scanning optical system, a control circuit, and an image forming unit. The scanning optical system scans a fundus of a subject's eye with light from a light source, and receives return light from the fundus by a light receiver. The control circuit controls the scanning optical system such that a scanning locus is formed by the light in the fundus. The image forming unit forms an image of the fundus based on a light receiving signal from the light receiver and a position of the scanning locus. The control circuit is capable of performing an alignment mode, in which the control circuit controls the scanning optical system to project an alignment indicator for aligning the scanning optical system with the subject's eye on the fundus based on the light from the light source.

Abstract: Systems and methods for collecting biosignals can include a master node and a plurality of biosensor slave nodes wirelessly connected to the master node. The biosensor can be implanted in the body, or external to the body. One of the biosensors can function as the master node, or a networked cell phone or local area network (LAN) router can function as the master node. The biosensor slave nodes can collect biosignals such as blood pressure, blood sugar (glucose), EEG brain activity and similar biomarkers as biodata. The slave nodes can transmit the biodata to the master node, along with implicit timing information. In response, the master nodes can communicate implicit timing adjustment information back to the slave node(s), but only when said slave node's implicit timing information is outside of a predefined synchronization accuracy ?, which can be determined according to the timing frequency requirements of the biodata being monitored.
