Abstract: A valve seat has an inner passage and outer passages. A suction valve member has first passages and a first projection portion that guides, to the first passages, the fuel that flows from a pressure chamber at the time of valve opening. Therefore, an action force by the dynamic pressure applied to the suction valve member in the valve closing direction is reduced. An action force by the pressure of fuel that flows into pressure equalization grooves counterbalances the action force by the dynamic pressure of the suction valve member. Therefore, self-closing by the dynamic pressure can be inhibited, and the maximum output of an electromagnetic driving unit can be reduced. Fuel flow through a passage radially outside the suction valve member and the firs passages. A fluid passage area is securable even when a lift amount of the suction valve member is small.

Abstract: A pneumatic device includes a cylinder, a piston rod and a valve unit. The cylinder includes an air chamber in which the piston rod is mounted, and a plurality of first backward flow paths. The valve unit is connected to the cylinder, and includes a valve seat assembly, and a valve member. The valve seat assembly includes an intake passage, a plurality of forward flow paths and a plurality of second backward flow paths. The valve member is movable between a first position where fluid communication between the intake passage and each of the second backward flow paths is prevented, and a second position where fluid communication between each of the forward flow paths and the communicating hole is prevented.

Abstract: A method for detecting and isolation a leak in a hydraulic system having a supply pump serving at least one control valve is disclosed. In one embodiment, the control valve has multiple work sections. In step of the method, the hydraulic system is activated. In another step, an actuation command for at least one of the work sections is received, for example from a human-to-machine interface. Subsequently, the method may include generating a flow demand for the work sections for which an actuation command has been received. The method also includes the step of implementing at least one of a first, second, third, and fourth leak detection and isolation protocol to detect and isolate a leak between the pump and the control valve assembly, a leak between the reservoir and the control valve assembly and a leak between the at least one work circuit and the control valve assembly.

Abstract: In accordance with an example embodiment, a system for managing a unique hydraulic system warmup method is described. A warmup system controller is central to the system and provides an interfacing point for communication to hardware components and a machine operator. The warmup system issues commands based on sensor inputs in light of defined rules and/or known physical properties of hydraulic fluids. Hydraulic system warmup is managed by the warmup system controller, which is configured to issue commands to affect hydraulic pumps and valves. By way of a controller managed process, the system functions to maximize hydraulic system pressure and limiting release of pressures in the lines, such that the pumps are able to maintain maximum pressure for a sufficient period of time.

Abstract: The invention relates to a compact unit, at least consisting of an electric motor, which is accommodated in housing parts (7, 55) of a unit housing (45) and which drives at least one hydraulic pump and gives off heat at the same time, an air heat-exchanging device, and a fan (19), which can be driven in order t o produce an air flow. The compact unit is characerized in that a flow-conducting device (47, 55) that divides off from the air flow at least a first partial flow flowing around the electric motor and a second partial flow flowing to the heat-exchanging device is present in the unit housing (45), or that, arranged in series, the air flow first flows against the electric motor and then the heat-exchanging device, or that the incidence of the air flow occurs at least partially in the reverse direction.

Abstract: [Problem] To Improve the appearance and reduce production costs of an assemblable structure, and further, facilitate assembly thereof, while permitting firm. assembly without using an adhesive. [Solution] A hard plate (1) configured from acrylic or the like is equipped with a first part that has a protrusion (2), and a second part that is provided with a recess (4) having an inner width smaller than the horizontal width of the protrusion (2). The maximum width (2w) of the protrusion is larger than the width (4w) of the recess. Slits (3) penetrating in the thickness direction are provided in the vicinity of the side surfaces of the protrusion (2), and the slits (3) allow the vicinity of the side surfaces of the protrusion (2) to be deflected. Alternatively, similar slits (40) are provided in the vicinity of the inside wall surface of the recess (4) so as to allow for pressing against the side surfaces of the protrusion (2).
