Abstract: A device may receive data from a user. The device may automatically evaluate the data to identify a set of attributes that are associated with classifying one or more data entries as being associated with a threshold risk. The device may automatically evaluate the data to generate, based on an attribute, of the set of attributes, associated with a data entry, of the one or more data entries, a recommendation associated with reducing a risk associated with the data entry, such that the risk does not exceed the threshold risk. The device may provide, to the user, information identifying the recommendation.

Abstract: A system and method for workforce scheduling using dynamic capacity ranges are provided. A capacity model associates distances of locations within a service area from a depot with a series of appointment time windows such that appointment time windows having a relatively greater amount of available worker capacity are associated with a greater range of distances than appointment time windows having a relatively smaller amount of available worker capacity. After a distance from the depot to a location of an appointment to be scheduled is determined, appointment time window suggestions are automatically produced based on which appointment time windows as defined in the capacity model are associated with the location of the appointment to be scheduled. As capacity changes due to bookings, the capacity model is dynamically updated. A system and method for workforce routing, based at least in part on using dynamic capacity ranges, are also provided.

Abstract: Roadway infrastructure is considered one of the largest tangible assets. Modern roadway networks have been constructed over the last century. The present day challenge in their management is determining how to allocate scarce resources among essentially different asset categories and types of needs. Roadway agencies must determine what funds to allocate by asset type, including pavement (roads), structures (bridges and culverts), safety features (guide rails), and other assets. Decisions must be made regarding their competing needs for asset replacement, rehabilitation, routine maintenance, and improvement. Funding allocation across these areas is a significantly complex problem requiring consideration of organizational capacity, objectives and constraints. The invention provides a means for treating bridges as equivalent pavement sections. It introduces an already widely accepted pavement performance measure as an overall single performance measure for pavements and bridges.

Abstract: Methodologies, systems, and computer-readable media are provided for generating procurement aid recommendations and controlling a graphical user interface (GUI) of an electronic display device to render the a aid recommendations in response to a computational analysis of consumer activity data and estimated consumer procurement times. A procurement aid recommendation tool can receive store identification information via the GUI. A desired service level corresponding to a specific store can also be received. An estimated procurement time corresponding to consumers within the specific store can be computed, based in part on consumer activity data collected at the store. A minimal number of procurement aids required to meet the desired service level is computed, based in part on the estimated procurement time of the consumers. The GUI is configured to generate a graphical indication of the minimal number of procurement aids required to meet the desired service level at the specific store.

Abstract: Edits on a content item, such as a document, are divided into microtasks. The microtasks associated with a document can be automatically identified based on a workflow or can be identified by a user associated with the content item or an administrator. At a later time, the user can complete the microtasks for a content item using an application associated with their smart phone or tablet. The application may present the microtasks in a game-like environment where the user can compete with other users based on metrics such as number of microtasks completed in a day or fastest completion time. In addition, the user can earn rewards such as badges, coupons, or credits by completing microtasks. In this way, users can use time that would have been wasted playing games to complete their content items, while still experiencing some of the fun and competition associated with the games.

Abstract: A system, method and computer program product for managing and/or presenting supply-chain data is presented. In one embodiment, the system includes a database for storing the supply-chain data and a server. The server is configured to present multiple role-specific user interfaces to multiple users. The multiple role-specific user interfaces include a distributor user interface, a customer user interface, and a vendor user interface presenting corresponding views. One or more distributor views include product information, pricing information, vendor information, and customer information. One or more customer views include the product information, the pricing information, and the vendor information. One or more vendor views include the product information and the customer information. The different views indicate, for example, rebate-eligible orders of a product by different distributors or customers, or multiple orders of a common product from different distributors or customers.

Abstract: A network based indoor positioning and geofencing system and method is described. Beacons are disposed within a physical premises and each beacon transmits a signal containing identifying information. A networked indoor positioning module receives measured reference points that include a measured beacon identifier and a measured signal strength. The networked indoor positioning module uses the measured reference points to generate calculated signal strength values for at least one detected beacon. At least one geofence is associated with the physical premises and the geofence includes some of the calculated signal strength values. A wireless device receives a beacon identifier and a beacon signal strength, when the wireless device is in or near a geofence associated the physical premises.

Abstract: Values of a target metric, and amounts spent on respective different types of channels for marketing an offering, are received. A first representation provides a response of the target metric to an amount spent on a marketing campaign of each of the different types of channels. A second representation provides a response of the target metric to time elapsed since the marketing campaign of each of the different types of channels. Models of the target metric for the corresponding different types of channels are determined using the first representations and the second representations.

Abstract: A method for selecting audience messages for an event based on audience analytics. A content management computing device determines a set of geographical regions viewing rights for an event were purchased, and in what quantity based on a first set of transaction data. The content management computing then receives a second set of transaction data associated with a set of consumers and generates one or more microsegment data sets based on the second set of transaction data. The microsegments are subdivided based on at least the set of geographical regions. The content management computing device then generates an audience profile based on the microsegment data sets. The content management computing device then receives a plurality of audience messages for the event, and selects one or more audience messages from the plurality of audience messages based on the audience profile.
