  • Patent number: 9623654
Abstract: There is provided a liquid ejecting control method for outputting an image without an influence of ejection amount variations. Therefore among a plurality of drive modes in which an amount of liquids ejected from one nozzle is different from each other, control information indicating a drive mode to be associated is obtained, and a drive signal to an individual pixel is generated according to the control information and image data that is input for each pixel. The control information sets a drive mode in which an ejection amount closer to a target ejection amount is obtained, among the plurality of drive modes. In addition, a difference between the target ejection amount and the ejection amount to be realized in the set drive mode is found, and this difference is used to correct a target ejection amount of the other pixel in which the drive mode is not set yet.

Abstract: A thermal printer includes a control unit that performs control to perform: an option operation, whereby upon completion of printing on a label provided on a continuous label body, the printed label is conveyed to a particular position and then conveyance of the continuous label body is stopped; and a retraction operation, whereby when a preset permitted stop time period has elapsed since the stop of conveyance of the continuous label body without performing next printing during the permitted stop time period, an unprinted label retracts to a retraction position where at least a printing region of the unprinted label is not sandwiched between a platen roller and a thermal head. The control unit can change the permitted stop time period for each type and/or each width of a label to be printed.

  • Patent number: 9623684
Abstract: A media sheet router moves sheets from a digital printer through the router and selectively to a plurality of finishers at full process speed. A router inlet path is aligned with the printer outlet path. Two router outlet paths are disposed at ninety degrees to the left and right of the router inlet path. The router outlet paths are each aligned with a finisher inlet path or another router. First and second turning elements are each mounted at forty-five degrees to the router inlet path and at ninety degrees to each other. Each turning element directs the sheets in a helical path to the router outlet paths. Transfer belts hold the sheets against each turning element. A bypass transfer moves the sheet to a bypass outlet path aligned with a bypass finisher inlet path. Diverters selectively direct the sheets onto the turning elements or the bypass transfer.
